You know, with Toby Fox saying Deltarune was a fever dream he wanted to make into reality, and a Rudinn saying that the Dark Worlds are made of dreams, it's... very sweet to see Deltarune/Undertale AU's/Characters made from your own dreams.

it's like... that's where they were born. These are made with your dreams and you made it real with love and excitement. There's something about that I really appreciate with the fandom. Prunsel & Salt Route would be first to come to mind, but I have seen and heard of others. I dunno, there's something special about that, me thinks.

Delta!Switch Update:

Heya folks!, i know nobody's reading this at the moment really. OR MAYBE YOU ARE OOOO!!!1111, but "Delta!Shift" has become "Delta!Switch" since that name for the au goes better with what its supposed to be. So bassically Delta!Switch is a deltarune au that takes the light world and the dark world and then proceeds to switcharoo the worlds and thier rules. for example: the light world is now the dark world. and the dark world is now the light world (if that makes any sense.) the characters from both light and dark also switch with this. Funny mystery man got bored of the same ol' fairytale and decided to spice it up. but yeah i'll be sharing the character role changes here now: ---------------------------------- Three Hero's: Seam <-> Kris Swatch <-> Ralsei Lancer <-> Susie Somewhat/pretty Important bosses/Secret Bosses: Onion-San <-> Rules Kard Asgore <-> Card King Mad Dummy <-> Jevil Alphys <-> Queen Toriel <-> Tasque Manager Froggits <-> Tasque Mettaton <-> Spamton other: Rudinn <-> Berdly ViroVirokun <-> Noelle --------------------------------------- Here's some concept art i've got made so far, they're W.I.P so changes are possible.

the deltarune AU with the zombies? i drew spamton and jevil? i just realized how terrifying it would be, thinking realistically about zombies and the fact i made it so the virus EVOLVES the victim, making them stronger, and more bloodthirsty, while still rotting the body, but the virus tries to make it so the corpse doesn't rot to immobility, so it's constantly healing itself and jevil happened to be a survivor of said virus, which is why he's so big, strong, and scary and the werewires are just plugboys that had the virus too long so i can imagine how terrifying it'd all be- not to mention, the darkners that CAN'T get infected are all lethal killers queen: built-in weapons system that you'd see in a sci-fi game or movie. the worse part is when NOT in attack mode, she looks harmless. the addisons: they learned how to kill. the marine way. ruthless. jevil: he's a killing machine with apex senses, and can hunt you down, and nothing can kill him spamton: he can turn into a giant eldrich horror with WINGS that CAN FLY. not to mention, he's 13 feet tall, and has the sight and smell of an APEX PREDETOR. sweet capn' cakes: they look harmless, but can dismantle you EASILY. seam: also looks harmless, but under his cloak is all sorts of poisons and injectors, and he has very brutal, yet creative ways to kill people. like sewing their heart and their stomach together into a cute little pouch, and letting them see it as they die. he wouldn't do that tho- the spamvil kids (there's two of 'em) : they can kill. and they're immune. despite the fact one is a baby. the king: he's as big and strong as jevil, just not as unkillable. lancer: nah, he can't do anything. zombies can't get him tho the unoriginal strarwalker: he's fast, and his "arms" and head are sharp. nubert: his body's covered in lethal toxic slime. like a poison dart frog! rudinn: tough scales all over body, and he's venomous. there's no antivenom, and his venom will kill you in 30 minutes after the bite. unless you're jevil. hathy: basically a blue-ringed octopus, but hathy. so he has green heart-shaped rings all over his body. clover: she can rip you apart like you're paper. jevil once messed around, and got his spine ripped out. she still has it, and it can be used as an item (jevilstail/spine). jevil eventually grew it back tho the kings have the same features as the others of the suit. exept the king of spades, he's deadlier than lancer. rouxls: he's useless and a coward. he's only deadly because having him on your team makes you more likely to get eaten or infected. the lightners are lucky to have some of them on their team. if you were in this AU, how fast would you die?

Undertale/Deltarune character distinction: overall I'm going to organize with an Undertale bias as it came first. Any kind of "crossover" is pretty much excluded from that rule and will be tagged with both.

I've reblogged like 2 posts that apply, but I tag criticism of Undertale Yellow as "UTY criticism" for blacklist.

"Mad Mew Mew" is her default form. Fanart of her pre-transition self is tagged as "Mad Dummy" as well as this the same way Hyperdeath is also tagged as "Asriel".

As for chapter-based tagging, fanart of Deltarune characters which doesn't reference any of specific chapter won't be tagged as one, but for instance a drawing of the Fun Gang in their doctor outfits will be tagged as Chapter 2. Hat Ralsei doesn't count as a ch1 reference.

Originally, the following reference list had hyperlinks but then I hit the limit (100) and removed them all for consistency. If you want to look through a tag, use gonermaker-ocpicrew.tumblr.com/tagged/example but replace “example” with the tag’s name. if we remove the gender requirement that would make for a really good deltarune au plot point. lancer ends up being the Knight (!!!) of Swords (!!!!!!!), meanwhile the Rudinn in his party is suddenly satanic, Clover is a classical wizard, and Hathy animorphed into a second Q5U4EX7YY2E9N, complete with acidic wine glass

Idea: quartet of girls based on the playing card suits with magical girl transformations based on their tarot suit equivalents.

Do it and watch a very specific subset of the Tumblr readership tie themselves into knots trying to figure out how it's secretly a Homestuck reference.
