i'm no expert and 100% biased but personally i genuinely love so much of the writing on bly manor
#the show might have its flaws (most of which i don't notice and the rest i pretend i don't see) but damn they did some stuff so well#you can't deny it#right now i'm obsessing over how terrible but seamless is rebecca's toxic relationship with peter#i've watched this show so many times but it just hit me that one of the main arguments rebecca has for staying w him is that he 'sees her'#he 'believes in her' and that she's 'good enough'#but girl. hannah spent the entire show talking about how brilliant she was#peter was going to make her abandon her dreams to follow him to america#but jamie reminded her of her dream and making henry give her a chance#everyone there saw her and believed in her but she was already in too deep with peter#god i hate him SO MUCH#watching bly manor
