kinda thinking of getting a cargo trailer (enclosed box on wheels) and turning it into a chicken house/coop so not only is it moveable around the land (chicken tractor style) but it's trivial to pack the birds up when fire comes and we have to evacuate
#right now i'd toss them into pet crates and put them in a trailer and it would be a mess and not an easy thing to do#we got lucky last fire that it got stopped before burning our land and we didn't have time to take the birds#thankfully they were spared but i don't want to count on that happening again#and brace yourselves#fire is coming#to paraphrase marc antony in the Rome show#summer comes brush burns#ok maybe he said snows melt same diff
