        @firecpals​     /                richie  turns  to  look  at  eddie,  and  he  feels  like  throwing  up.  this  whole  situation’s  fucked!   hates  to  see  it  clear  as  fuckin’  day,   on  all  their  faces .  he  hated  to  accept  the  fact  it  was  real.    if  only  it  were  as  𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐘  as  it  was  when  they  were  all  kids . . .  maybe  then  richie  could  completely  distract  them.  frames  are  readjusted  by  instinct,  hand  reaching  to  grasp   eddie’s  shoulder.    “  hey,  you  with  me  𝐄𝐃𝐒?   that’s  not  gonna  happen,  alright?  i  𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐑,  “      it  was  never  going  to  be  an  empty  promise,  not  with  richie.  not  when  it  regarded  his  friends.   guess  that  was  it.  richie  would  risk  it  all  for  them  in  a  heartbeat.  fingers  snap,  attempt  to  call  attention.    “ look  at  me,  eddie ── i  know  this  shits  fuckin’  nuts,  but  i  believe  in  you,  alright?  you’re  not  alone.  we’re  gonna  get  through  this  shit ── even  if  you  gotta  hold  my  hand  the  entire  way.  “     felt  like  old  times. 

there  was  nostalgia ──  this  happened  before,  in  a  different  scenario  ─  wasn’t  when  the  clown  attacked  them  first ,  it  was  some  years  afterwards.  richie  and  eddie  were  packed  together  like  sticks  of  gum.  inseparable  almost,  right  up  until  it  was  the  last  day  they  saw  each other . . .  when  they’d  all  high - tailed  outta  derry,  but  didn’t  realize  it  was  the  𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄.   richie  was  always  going  to  be  there  for  eddie,  fuck  everything  else.    “ i  uh . . .  know  i’m  kinda  a  fuckin’ dick,  but  trust  me  on  this  ─   “      still  feels  like  he’s  holding  his  breath.   shit,  is  he  seeing  this?        “  make  yourself  a  motherfucking  ten  in  whatever  situation  you’re  in.  “    richie  would  tell  eddie over  and  over  again   how  much  he  was  a  𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐃 . . .   right  up  until  he  actually  believed  it.
