Here we go! A 20K word story for your weekend enjoyment. I tried to remove all the typos from the original publication, and I changed a few things around. Let me know if typos/inconsistencies exist.
Technically a sequel to Trial of the Zora Armor, but I think it can be (at least mostly) read without reading Armor first.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH
And since it's pride month now so i feel like I should share my lgbt headcannons
My list of Lgbt headcannons
This will be about botw and totk specifically
If you don't agree that's fine once again these are just my headcannons
⚠️⚠️WARNING⚠️⚠️ TOTK SPOLIER ON THE LAST CHARACTER, DON'T LOOK AFTER 5TH IF NOT WANTING SPOILERS
Enjoy
You can not tell me this man is completely straight, he has got to be some form of queer.
Tumblr media
Link
Possibly Pan, maybe even poly romantic. I could see him being ok with being in a relationship with just about anyone, of course if they are an ass hole than he wouldn't but you get it.
Revali
With the way that Link rocks every outfit out there, masculine, feminine, and in between I like to think he is either a trans guy (ftm) or is like non binary. Not really caring, finding comfort being seen as a vai or voe or neither at all.
Tumblr media
Ok first off he is too sassy for his own good. I have a love hate relationship with this bird. Which brings me to my first point.
Zelda
He's gay, mlm a sassy little gay man. I will take no criticism on this actually.
Tumblr media
She is bi, she understands beauty on a scientific level. She could explain the science behind a brains attraction to just about anyone.
Urbosa
She'd also probably be ok with being a u'haul gay. Having a cute library built into the walls with a loft bed sitting area where she could sit and read, or write in her journal, or cuddle with a partner as she tells them about her most recent research
Tumblr media
That is a strong lesbian if ever I saw one. She is as proud as she is strong. Anyone ever try to discriminate against her or someone else around her she'd happily put them in their place.
Tumblr media
Bolson
With a catchphrase such as "SHA-DING" there is no one this is a fully straight man.
Not to mention his odd construction sayings.
He's gay, maybe bi but mostly mlm
(I just had to mention him because I found his photo lol)
Last but certainly not least
Tumblr media
SIDON
Now for starts this is my favorite character (he may or may not have been the reason I got into botw lol)
I have always seen him as pan, part of his color pallet looked like the flag pretty clearly.
I felt like he might’ve been leaning towards masculine folks more, but was open to other relationships.
In tears of the kingdom he has a wife, but that doesn't stop my brain from imagining him (and his wife) either being in a poly relationship or Sidon having a mlm relation while his wife has a wlw one. (My dream relation may or may not be Sidon and Link, and Yona and Zelda. It'd just be so cute, and could lead for some intresting areanged marrige fanfics)
That's all for now, I might come back later in the month with more. Be proud of who you are, its pride month after all. Happy pride🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

🖊 + Eris
Eris! Gosh I haven’t thought too much for them in a while. But I love them!
So the basics for Eris is that they were an Air Force pilot who woke up in botw Link’s body. For the story, I hc that Link died but his body was healed and fixed and technically alive. Eris’ soul was pulled into Link’s body and they took over it.
Eris doesn’t remember their name and many other details from Before. They knows they’re not this Link guy though. After a while, they renamed themself Eris after the Greek goddess of chaos.
Eris from Before was a female, but also was questioning and felt no inclination for male or female. Link’s body is male (in this world), so it was a bit unsettling for a while and took some time to adjust.
Eris is very adamant that they’re not the Hero Link and refuses to respond or act like it. They will help people in need and defend themselves and others, but for now, that’s it.
The Rito race are Eris’ favorite and the ones they relates the most to. Eris spends most of their time there and basically becomes an unofficial Rito. They have they hugest crush on Kass (cmon! He’s a bard for goddess sake!) and his wife. Eris also has a (very hated) crush on Revali. (Don’t bring it up or you’ll regret it)
Eris takes to having different hairstyles and colors inspired by the cultures of Hyrule. They also get some piercings and tattoos that are from Before and from Hyrule. @clearwillow designed some a while back form for Eris.
My dear friend @therevolutionisbored made an adorable character and companion for Eris that basically they adopt and help Eris. Fee is a precious adorable baby. My friend could probably give more details about them ;)

Botw for the ask!
favorite female character: ZELDA ZELDA ZELDA
favorite male character: i feel like this is obvious have yall seen how much i draw link
favorite book/season/etc: this ask is specifically abt botw and not all zelda games but i think botw is probably my fave of the games ive played?? it might be tied with oot
favorite episode: not an episode but the memory where it’s raining and link is training while zelda sits under a tree and shes like ‘you were born into a family of the royal guard’ hits different
favorite cast member: revali’s va was the best in the game dont @ me
favorite ship: zelink
character I’d die defending: im gonna get RIDICULOUSLY specific here but in kakariko village if you do all the side quests you find out that one of the guys who guards impa’s house was a former yiga clan member who tried to leave but they killed his wife and were threatening his daughters so he was forced to go back to them and steal the little glowing ball thing that activates the shrine but he didn’t want to comply with them so he’d been training every night to be ready to fight the yiga clan when they showed up asking for the ball and basically what im saying is that guy did nothing wrong ever he just wanted a good life for his wife and kids
character I just can’t sympathize with: every old zora in zora’s domain who hates link because he happened to exist and was hylian at the same time as mipha
character I grew to love: revali!! my first playthrough i thought he was rlly annoying n idk what changed but i like him a lot now fsdfgh
anti otp: hmm cant think of any besides the obv like age gap ships n such

Review- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
So I beat the Wii U version on Monday night, and I’ve just spent the rest of the week thinking about it. It’s one of those games that won’t leave my brain. Which is pretty cool in my book! The last time a game grabbed a hold of me this deeply was Undertale. I find it harder to review games like this, cause what can you say that encompasses an experience like that? I’m gonna try anyway though! (Will try and avoid any huge plot spoilers, but if you’re like me and don’t want to know anything, you probably shouldn’t read this!)
Gameplay: Open world Zelda. I can’t say it’s something I was begging for, since I’ve never played any big open world games before, but I’m definitely a fan after Breath of the Wild. The freedom is incredible. And incredibly distracting, I played about 250 hours before finally beating Ganon and most of that was just wandering around chasing some cool looking thing I saw in the distance. Exploring was really the heart of this game for me; I had countless experiences where I’d turn a corner and see something awesome and be blown away. The climbing ability just added to the freedom. And yeah, the rain thing was kinda annoying sometimes, but I usually took it as an excuse to look around and take in the scenery. The shrine puzzles were fun, I liked how there always seemed to be more than one way to do something, and there was a lot of satisfaction in finding wacky ways to get through some of them. Same thing with combat, there always seemed to be more than one way to take down a hoard of monsters, whether it be running in with sword swinging, sniping and sneaking your way through, or just exploding everything. Weapons did seem to break a bit too quickly, but once you got the hang of switching it was fine. I thought the difficulty scaling was done pretty well, I felt like I was constantly getting stronger while there was always a new challenge. And I really liked the approach to the dungeons. While the actual Divine Beasts were pretty easy for me, adding in the sequences where you had to get to them in the first place really made the game shine. Assaulting Vah Ruta in particular is some of the most fun I’ve ever had in a video game. By the end, I was a little underwhelmed by final battle. It was fun in a story sense, but not that much of a challenge. Overall though, I’d say the gameplay was pretty darn fantastic.
Plot: So while I think the plot was pretty strong, for me it was overshadowed by the fun of exploring everything. But it may just be because most of the main story moments happened 100 years ago. It was an interesting framing, for sure, but it led to more of a focus on the gameplay and action side. The characters were a really strong point though. I loved how almost every NPC you met had their own personality and things going on, even if it wasn’t important to the story or anything. Just all the little things, like the one guy in Kakariko who’s wife left him cause he was too into his Cuccoos, or that random lady traveling between towns who insults your fashion sense. Heck, even how everyone reacts differently to you wandering around naked just makes the world feel richer and more deep. Without going into spoiler territory, Zelda’s character arc is probably my favorite out of all the Zelda incarnations. I felt like I could relate to her a lot personally. The four champions were all awesome as well, even if every time Revali did anything I was like wow what a glorious asshole. Urbosa is the best momfriend, and Mipha is a darling. And I have to shout out to Sidon and Kass, they’re wonderful. I could say tons about those two, they’re probably my favorites. Overall it’s not the most intense Zelda story ever made, but what it has is rich and wonderful.
Music: Ok seriously, where did the dumb meme about this game not having music come from? Did everyone hear that and then just play the game on mute? The music in this game is awesome! Yeah there’s not Hyrule Field Theme™ being blasted at you every single moment, but the music in this game isn’t empty, it’s subtle. It knows what it’s doing. And while it uses silence a lot while out exploring, all the important places have theme music! Stables, towns, the dungeons, the character themes, it’s awesome! The whole dur hur BotW doesn’t have any music thing kinda pisses me off cause it’s so easily proven wrong. Kass’s Theme alone is one of the best themes in the entire series. The Mipha and Sidon Themes are perfect compliments of each other, and Revali’s Theme is so chill that it belies what an asshole he is. And I actually cried when I heard Rito Village for the first time. I also cried when I heard the Molduga Battle for the first time cause it is so so good. And then there’s Hyrule Castle, which needs no inferior words from me. And then the Main Theme itself! Gosh there’s so many good songs and I keep thinking of them. Don’t be coming at me with any dumb BotW doesn’t have music crap cause it seriously has one of the best soundtracks in the series, while still appreciating the subtlety of silence and letting the world stand on it’s own.
Overall: Is Breath of the Wild the best Zelda game ever? I dunno if I’d say that, especially a week after beating it while it’s still lodged in my brain, but it is definitely one of the best. I’m happy to hear that this is the direction that they want to go in for future Zelda games. It’s not perfect, like there were all these dogs and you couldn’t pet them, but it’s an amazing first step in the right direction for the series. Imagine where it can go from here, a game with a huge sprawling world and in depth dungeons of the older games. I can’t think of what else to say about Breath of the Wild over all, other than that it was amazing and totally worth the hype.
Now I suppose I’d better get back to playing Star Fox 64!
