So... I stumbled onto this landmark in the Storm Coast, and its codex...

...and thought about the lyric in the song Somewhere Only We Know...

I came across a fallen tree / I felt the branches of it looking at me / is this the place we used to love?

...the song which happens to be the inspiration for my ongoing Dorian x Inquisitor series of mini fics in which they meet in various Fade memory versions of their favourite places during the events of Veilguard...

...and then I lost my goddamn mind and wrote a thing.
