#rereading wolfsong and i'm at the part where thomas is dying and i just#i desperately need a version where ox takes the bite and becomes alpha earlier#as much as i want to punch thomas for just about everything‚ he's just a man trying to keep he's familt together#just constantly trying to do best by them even if his CHOICES are extremely flawed#thomas bennett is an imperfect man trying his best and yet his best is Never Enough. but regardless he is ALWAYS trying#anyway they (thomas and ox and really just all of them) make me really really sad and i could probably write several essays about them#green creek#green creek series#emma jane talks
