20 FEB 2024
This project started as me wanting to do an exhibition in Pakistan as an intervention in 2022 January when I started the course. I changed this topic, still remaining in my comfort zone, to a psychology research question about art education and equity in the arts. I remained confused and uninspired for the rest of the year.
I took a year out and then came back in 2024 ready to continue my project. I was finally able to wrap my head around creating change in London as opposed to Pakistan ,my comfort zone, however I was still stuck on educational psychology as a tool for change. I managed to converse with my peers on the course as well as my tutor and course leader and started to focus in on a research question. How can I give Pakistani artists a voice in London? so the process of hosting an exhibition in London will require many interventions.
On Jan 23, I attended a Pak Soc event after my zoom call with Elizabeth
On Feb 5, I hosted a networking mixer where I was able to recruit a few female artists for the exhibition I plan to put on, and we began to try find our commonalities when discussing the theme.
On Feb 6, I went to the second Pak Soc event to further the networking I need to do, and spread word on the exhibition opportunity as well as find artists.
It would be nice to get the group together soon, I will do this by spending a few hours everyday messaging artists on instagram and emailing, texting, getting in touch and spreading word.

Nikah: September
Story Masterlist
Nikah: noun, Arabic, meaning the contract of marriage.
Bucky marries Peter’s former tutor because her student visa’s about to expire and the government isn’t granting her a green card. Can she find a way to permanent residence by marriage, and if so, will it be at the cost of their hearts?
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Warnings: Mentions of death, pain, visiting a graveyard.
A/N: Written under the Arranged/Accidental Marriage trope for @mermaidxatxheart ‘s writing challenge. I’m sorry for the one-day delay. This weekend’s second chapter - October - should be up tomorrow. Please comment and reblog! Thank you for reading!
Time heals many wounds. The scar left by the urge for revenge is not one of them, Bucky learns when he gets the call informing him of the capture of his wife’s kidnapper. He’s in an obscure corner of New York, deep into the maze of fabrics and colors, when Sam’s voice - congratulatory and bone-tired - gives him the news. Bucky was excluded from the investigation due to personal connection to the victim, and placed on an obligatory sick leave after his… incident. The cliff’s edge his wife pulled him back from.
Yet he has managed to learn certain details. Such as the fact that there was no greater plot, no Hydra involvement, only a psychopathic monster out for blood and pain. The type of men there is no shortage of in this world of grue and terror. He does not want to subject her to any more of it, but she is too intelligent to allow him to take that choice from her. She does not consider this, them, him to be terrible or cruel.
Now, she turns to him from the silk she’s examining after a minute too long of his mental absence. Cocks her head as she takes note of the phone in his hand, the conversation itself having passed her by amidst her other preoccupations and the lull of Bollywood music in the air.
“Everything okay? It can get kind of stuffy in here, so if you want to get some air-”
“I’m fine, doll,” He insists, letting the cloud of her perfume envelope him like her rare embraces.
“Okay,” She says dubiously. “Let me know if you want to go.”
Her concern is touching, but Bucky doesn’t know if he should open his heart to it or blockade against it. Thankfully, she changes the subject.
“What do you think?” She asks, gesturing toward the selection of fabrics she seems to have shortlisted. Her cousin’s wedding is in December, which apparently requires preparation months prior, in the form of shopping for a new lehenga. Or the materials to have one made, rather. Bucky looks from the deep purple to the vivid mauve to the sea green and tries hard not to shrug.
“I bet they’ll all look gorgeous on you.”
“I only need one, Buck, and I’m having trouble choosing between the green and mauve,” She says, pointing to the fabric she can’t decide between.
“They’re both nice,” He says, but upon seeing her frown deepen, he adds: “The green one’s a jaw dropper.” She grins in agreement and seeks out a shopkeeper to cut the required length of cloth.
Sam’s voice echoes in his mind as they exit the shop for the one next door. In this one, he takes in the piles of lace and borders and ornate brooches and buttons while the rage simmers below the surface. He can no longer tell if the flush in his cheeks is from the bridled anger or the warmth caused by his wife’s presence. Her keen eyes are scanning a row of spectacular trimmings, and she sighs at the difficulty of the choice.
Craning her neck, she spots the one she wants but soon realizes she cannot reach. Bucky doesn’t give her the time to ask for his assistance, reaching up over her to grab the reel of golden, glittering trim she’s pointed out. The electricity that crackles when his front meets her back in the process is almost enough to forget the disapproving glares from the two middle-aged shop owners. Almost.
Their kind wrinkles have turned colder but she thaws them with a smile and the familiar, polite title of uncle. Another common term in the desi vernacular, log kya kahenge - what will people say? - replays in his brain like an audio cassette, the expression having been the subject of many a frustrated, late-night rant he has absorbed from his wife. There will surely be a rerun later today, unless he gives her the news of her attackers capture before she has the opportunity to launch her case against South Asian obsession with public reputation. By the time they leave, the elderly gentlemen are at ease while Bucky is not, staying three paces behind until they’re out of sight.
“ ‘M sorry, doll, I shouldn’t have-” His sentence is cut off by her razor sharp glare as she halts on the sidewalk.
“Don’t you dare apologize, Bucky Barnes. If I had a problem with you grazing against me while trying to help with something, I’d have made it quite clear,” She declares, taking his hand and steering them towards the subway. Sunday shoppers mill about, enjoying the last of the summer sun before autumn takes its place. They carry bags of their own, but few match the ones Bucky is carrying. Queens’ Asian hub is bustling with activity, and he relishes in its awe until he smells the curry house a street down.
He tells her of his discovery in the entrance to the station, and her eyes light up like fireworks on Steve’s birthday - rest his soul - and they turn back for food. Bucky’s nose takes the lead, and six minutes and a wrong turn later, they’re standing like moths to a flame, the scent of spices embedding itself into their nerves. She inhales joyously as they’re taken to the last empty seats, against a wall covered in pictures of Pakistani and Indian monuments. Bucky doesn’t comment on the political tensions he knows are present between the two nations, knowing that governments are rarely as representative of their people’s beliefs as they ought to be.
There isn’t any music either, just the sound of commentary from the cricket match playing on several TV screens. It’s a rerun of the previous year’s World Cup final between England and New Zealand, and his wife looks sourly at it, knowing the results didn’t go the way she wanted them to.
“It all came down to luck in the end,” She comments, picking up the menu. Bucky quirks an eyebrow. “It wasn’t even a fair win. The umpire admitted to faulty judgement, and I don’t blame him, but super overs are such a stressful, inconsistent way of completing the game. New Zealand worked so hard and it was all overturned by a stroke of luck. I feel bad for poor Kane Williamson,” She says, and Bucky puts down the menu as the waiter approaches. The conversation pauses as they place their orders - chicken karahi for him and chicken achari for her - before he says anything.
“Sweetheart, if you think that’s bad, imagine cheatin’ death three times over and getting home to learn that your team’s now playing for the opposite coast. LA Dodgers. Pfft,” He says, shaking his head, and she laughs, corner of her eyes crinkling like silk as her laughter chimes. It’s the only song he knows he’ll never tire of hearing, the one that sounds as good as the day he first heard it.
The first time he makes her laugh is, like many other aspects of his life, hysterically ironic. They’re in a graveyard, dawn taking its rightful place on the horizon. A midnight and a half of walking caused by devilish, sleep-stealing nightmares, eventually led them to Steve’s grave. The ground is unthawing slowly, much like the icy shields they have put up against one another, and she’s holding a bouquet of anemones from a miraculous florist.
She tries to give him the flowers but he shakes his head. His hands shake more violently from inside his jacket pocket and he tries to breathe, the night chill seeping into his skin. Hesitantly, she kneels down, brushes some dust off his tombstone, and places the vividly beautiful flowers in front of it. Rises, bones heavy with sympathy, and turns to him.
“I’m just glad he died in his own bed and not on the battlefield like he seemed so damn hell-bent on doin’. Wouldn’t have wanted that for him,” He muses to ease her tortured expression. Deliver a message of having moved on, having accepted this life without his best man. His best bud.
“He would have been just as happy either way, going by what you’ve told me,” She answers, peering sideways at him from under eyelashes that reflect the last of the moonlight. He gives a short, wistful laugh.
“Yeah. You know what he told me once, still that skinny Brooklyn kid after another fight? He said he’d have fought him even if he’d have been ten times bigger instead of two.” She laughs, too, and although it’s a sad, sorrowful thing, overflowing with exhaustion and despair, Bucky hasn’t heard anything as beautiful since the sound of Sam in his ear after the Blip.
“And he proved that with Thanos. Those bullies were just practice. I laughed at him anyway, but he had the bigger picture in mind that I never did.”
He still doesn’t. Not even now, with his wife’s hand in his, standing in the lobby to the apartment he owns. She tells him they haven’t checked the mail since last Wednesday and they head over to the letter boxes instead. The reason for their marriage, the bigger picture she sees in her head, is pulled out in the form of an envelope from the United States Government. She opens it with shaking hands, and the green card is extracted, heart in throat. Bucky sees the disbelieving joy in her eyes, and thinks: his own is now over.

Jahangir Khan: A champion who lived up to his name | Sports
Jahangir Khan: A champion who lived up to his name | Sports
The word Jahangir means ‘Conqueror of the World’. The Pakistani squash legend Jahangir not only conquered the world but then held onto his empire for an unprecedented five years and eight months, during which he won 555 consecutive matches without a single defeat. This is a record unmatched in the annals of any sport, and it puts Jahangir in the rarefied air of a shortlist to choose the greatest sportsman that Pakistan, or perhaps the world, has ever produced. His domination was complete and relentless. Week after week he would put his reputation on the line testing it against all comers and overcoming them. Jahangir had all the classical 6 S’s required to be a squash champion, strength, stamina, style, sense, suppleness and speed. When, to this mix, you add an unquenchable desire to win and a huge sense of pride in his family’s record and tradition, you create an unbeatable superstar, ‘unsquashable’ was the epithet used by his coach and mentor Rahmat Khan. In his prime it was said of Jahangir that he would simplify the travel arrangements of those who came up against him in the draw of any tournament for they knew that they would be heading home after playing him.
Jahangir did not start out as a likely champion. He was a sickly child, born with a bilateral or double hernia. He was advised to refrain from strenuous physical exercise and like a dutiful son he obeyed parenteral instructions.
Jahangir’s father was the great squash champion Roshan Khan and he was the squash professional at the Pakistan Navy’s Fleet Club. His elder brothers Torsam and Hassan were both keen and budding squash players as well. Jahangir had his first hernia operation when he was five and received a squash racket with a shortened shaft as a gift toy from his father on his eighth birthday. However, the young boy saw it differently, he used the racket to practice his grip for various squash strokes and learnt how to execute them. It became his constant companion, cementing his love affair with the sport.
When Jahangir turned ten, Roshan started taking him to the Fleet Club for a short weekly playing session. The doctor still wanted him to be cautious and no one really thought that he would have a career as a sportsman, and that too in a sport that required extreme physical fitness. However, unknown to Roshan, on returning from school Jahangir would sneak back to the Fleet Club when it was closed for the afternoon break, and then again after dusk. Ignoring his doctor’s advice, he pushed himself hard, practicing the strokes he’d seen his father play. At the age of twelve, after a successful second hernia operation, Jahangir soon began to train with greater rigour, building his strength and stamina. Seeing his interest and committment, Roshan was also won over and started tutoring Jahangir himself.
Jahangir made rapid progress, honing his skills under his father’s tutelage. In November 1978, at the age of just fourteen, he became the Pakistan National Junior Champion defeating the title holder Ramshaid Gul in the final in Peshawar. A few months later he made waves in the National Open Squash Championship in Karachi, where he ousted the top seed Mohammad Saleem, before bowing out to Saleem’s brother Maqsood Ahmed in the quarter finals.
Jahangir was chosen to tour the Scandavian countries with the National Juniors team. At the tour’s conclusion he flew to London to visit his brother Torsam and cousin Rahmat, who were both living there. Torsam persuaded him to stay on and took him under his wing, focusing on toughening Jahangir up mentally and tactically for major tournaments. It was an idyllic time for Jahangir, spent improving his squash, acquiring better English speaking skills and enjoying the company of his brother and cousin.
In April 1979, Jahangir participated in the British Junior Open Championship where his power and speed ensured him a place in the final. Though he lost to the much older Australian Glen Brumby, Jahangir had made a strong imprint in the squash world, confirming a prediction made by the world number four Hiddy Jahan in 1977, that Jahangir “would be dangerous within two years.”
The next tournament was the World Amateur Championship in Melbourne in October 1979. Jahangir, who had been training in England, was called for trials, being held in Peshawar, to select the Pakistan national side. Due to jet lag he was unable to play at his best and could not make the team, though he would still be competing in the individual event. Much to his surprise, on reaching Melbourne he found that his name was not included in the qualifying draw. Fortunately for him, another player withdrew and Jahangir was drafted in to replace him. He progressed through the qualifying rounds to find a place in the main 64 man field.
All his training and hard work now began to pay off. He steadily made his way through the early rounds and straight games victories in the quarter and semifinals over John Leslie of England and Frank Donnelly of Australia landed him in the final.
Jahangir’s opponent in the final was Phil Kenyon of Great Britain, who won the first set 9-2. In response, Jahangir extended the rallies, kept the ball deep, and applied unremitting pressure that sapped his opponent’s stamina and strength. He won the next three sets 9-2, 9-2 and 9-5 to secure an unexpected victory. He was now the world amateur champion at the incredibly young age of fifteen, the youngest ever to achieve this distinction. All through the tournament Torsam had been guiding him on the phone from London, helping him to analyze his opponents and draw up a strategy for each match.
While accolades flowed in to greet this new star on the constellation, tragedy was lurking in the background. Jahangir’s brother Torsam suddenly collapsed and died in Adelaide during a match in the Australian Open tournament.
Jahangir was totally distraught and even contemplated giving up the game but decided to continue as a tribute to his brother’s memory. Rahmat sensed Jahangir’s utter devastation and decided to step in and take over Torsam’s role of coaching his young cousin. Jahangir moved into Rahmat’s house and immersed himself in a punishing training regimen as an antidote for his grief. His day would begin with a 10 mile run in 60-120 minutes, followed by a series of 400 meter laps and short bursts of timed sprints with just a brief respite between each. In the afternoon there would be weight training in the gym before finally cooling down with a swim in the pool. This was his unrelenting routine for five days each week. The sixth day was devoted to match practice, where Rahmat had developed innovative methods to strengthen Jahangir’s backhand and forehand drives, his drop shots, his lobs and boasts, as well as his cross-court play. The seventh day would be one of rest, allowing Jahangir to unwind and recover. Rahmat’s message was unambiguous, concentrate on developing fitness, ball control and the will to win. The effort made Jahangir the fittest sportsman of his time.
In the 1980 season the sixteen year old prodigy turned professional and made it to the final of the Irish Open where he was beaten by the great Jonah Barrington. With mixed feelings, he also entered the World Open, being played in Adelaide on the courts where his brother had died the previous year. Overcoming the sixth seed Maqsood Ahmad, he met the Pakistan number one Qamar Zaman in the quarter final. In a grueling match Qamar had to play at his best to win a close five setter. Jahangir followed this up by winning the New Zealand Open, before facing Qamar again on home ground in the final of the PIA Masters in Karachi. Qamar’s magical strokeplay gave him a two set lead before Jahangir hit back ruthlessly to win the next three sets and the match for the loss of only nine further points.
Jahangir next won the British Under-23 Open and followed it by lifting the Belgian Open. He now fixed his sight on the reigning world champion and legend Geoff Hunt. His first opportunity came in the Canada Club Open held in Munich. Jahangir was supremely fit and confident. Much to everyone’s surprise he beat Hunt 3-1. However, Hunt retaliated almost immediately, overcoming Jahangir in straight sets just ten days later in the 1981 ISPA Smirnoff Masters in Northern Ireland. Jahangir’s third encounter with Hunt was in the final of the Patrick Chichester Festival final. Both men played at their peak form with Hunt using every skill in his vast repertoire to unsettle an opponent half his age. He led by two games to one and was 4-1 up in the fourth game, when the sheer effort of keeping pace with Jahangir’s speed and relentless ball retrieval began to tell. Jehangir won eight points in a row to take the game and soon shot into a 5-1 lead in the fifth and deciding game. A desperate fight back from Hunt brought him level at 6-6, but the effort completely drained him and Jahangir won the remaining three points and the match, which had lasted a record 2 hours and 11 minutes.
Next was the Audi British Open in Bromley and Jahangir fancied his chances. Scything through his half of the draw, which saw him securing wins over Sherren of Zimbabwe, Sohail Qaisar from Pakistan, the Australian Dean Williams and two illustrious Pakistani compatriots Hiddy Jahan and Qamar Zaman, Jahangir reached the final where Hunt awaited him. Hunt won the first two games but Jahangir came back by taking the third and leading 6-1 in the fourth. In his eagerness to close out this game Jahangir became impatient and Hunt pounced with a fierce burst of brilliance to win the game 9-7 and with it the tournament. The match lasted 2 hours and 14 minutes, surpassing the record set at Chichester.
Jahangir was shaken but there was still the World Cup in Canada in November. On the way he won the Welsh Open, where Hiddy Jahan took him to five games, the last time this would happen for many years. This win was also the start of his unprecedented unbeaten run. He next won the Asian Masters in Karachi beating Qamar Zaman in straight games, the German Open, winning 3-1 against Hunt, and the World Masters in Newcastle against Zaman, again in straight games. Toronto was the venue for the World Cup where he sailed through the earlier rounds to meet Hunt in the finals. Incidentally Jahangir had hurt his shoulder during the semis but decided to play the final anyway, which happened to coincide with the second anniversary of Torsam’s death. A brutal opening game took 50 minutes and Hunt prevailed 9-7. However, it sapped his energy and Jahangir coasted ,through the next three games 9-1, 9-2, 9-2. He was the new World Champion having reached the summit at the age of seventeen, the youngest ever to do so in the history of the sport.
Over the next five years and eight months Jahangir would reign supreme in the squash world defeating everyone he met and winning every tournament in sight. His records include winning the World Championship without dropping a game, and also one for the longest squash match in history, when he beat the indefatigable Gamal Awad of Egypt in 2 hours and 46 minutes in the Chichester Festival tournament in 1983.
His triumphant streak, the longest in the history of any sport, was finally ended by New Zealand’s Ross Norman in the World Open in Toulouse, France, in November 1986. Jahangir extracted immediate revenge in the following tournament and went another nine months without defeat. His aura of invincibility had, however, been punctured and a fresh bunch of challengers emerged in the form of the Australians Rodney Martin, Chris Dittmar and a new rising star from Pakistan, Jansher Khan. Though Jahangir got the better of Jansher initially, the latter soon began to prevail and won the World Championship in 1987. Jahangir regained his title the following year but it would be his last world crown. He continued his winning run at the British Open into the nineties, finally retiring from squash in 1993, after losing in the World Open final to Jansher, but helping the national team to win the world team trophy.
The record Jahangir left behind is formidable. His multiple tournament victories included 6 World Open titles, 10 consecutive British Open crowns, winning 13 Pakistan Opens and leading Pakistan to the World Team Championship title on 5 occasions. He also tried his hand at the hardball American version of the game, winning the US title thrice. For 94 months he was ranked as the number one player in the world, 72 of them in succession. On retirement from the game he served as the President of the World Squash Federation from 2002-2008 and has subsequently been its President Emeritus since 2008.
Jahangir was the best player ever to step onto a squash court. He did not merely dominate his opponents, he demolished them, both on the court and psychologically. His arrival coincided with other changes in the sport like the glass court and the graphite racket. It also corresponded with the advent of ‘corporate’ squash and Jahangir was it’s first mega-star. A legend in his own time, the frail child from a modest background who became an awesome sportsman and a global icon, his story is one that dreams are made of.

作业代写:The cause of America's recession
The starting point of western economics is human desire, which starts from people's subjective desire, but ignores the social existence that produces subjective desire. Dialectical materialism holds that consciousness is determined by existence and consciousness has a negative effect on existence, while western economics advocates that consciousness determines existence. It can be seen that western economics is based on idealism.
Freedom is for individual economies, and laissez-faire is for government or social regulation. It is precisely for this reason that monopolies arise, that the freedom of all capitalist economies to gain benefits is often at the expense of others. Monopoly impedes the progress of science and technology, and thus the development of economy. Socialism suffered serious setbacks at the end of the last century. In order to integrate socialism into the diversified world, socialist economy began to take the initiative to reform the market economy suitable for its own needs, which made the western economic circle more firmly believe in the omnipotence of free market and led to the spread of anarchism in certain fields. Keynes's reflection and measures on the free market economy made the United States get rid of the economic crisis in the late 1920s and early 1930s. However, it was soon overwhelmed by the laissez-faire theories such as monetarism. The theory of money and market omnipotence became more and more fierce. Mr. Greenspan, the former chairman of the federal reserve, also acknowledged this point after the outbreak of the crisis, that allowing financial markets to develop freely would inevitably lead to economic risks.
The dominance of the dollar makes Americans always feel that their paper is infinite wealth. The money printed is circulated all over the world, and it can be obtained without effort. The United States no longer even produces labor-intensive products. Relying solely on its high-tech products, the United States will always become the world leader in the field of consumption. Therefore, the labor-intensive products involved in its national consumption depend on imports. These labor-intensive products are daily necessities, such as clothing, shoes and hats, children's toys, small household appliances and so on. Americans rely on the world market for their daily necessities, and the United States has become the largest importer of consumer goods. However, on the other hand, in order to maintain its leading position in the world of science and technology, the United States maintains a strict confidentiality system for its products and technologies. For example, if the United States does not export high-tech products or only USES them in a certain field of its own country, the export of technological products also requires technologies from several years ago. The United States does not sell high-tech products that other countries need from the United States; other countries with consumer goods are cheaper than the United States, resulting in a large deficit in international trade. What other countries need is the high-tech products of the United States. In the international trade, countries have a large surplus with the United States, which makes countries hold more and more dollars. The resolution of this contradiction becomes the focus of the international relations between the United States and other countries.
Proceeding from its own subjective desire, the United States promotes its democratic model to other countries, from peaceful interference in other countries' internal affairs to armed interference in other countries' internal affairs. From interfering in China's internal affairs in the last century, to supporting China's civil war, to supporting Taiwan's secession from the mainland, the United States has supported China's independence from China. To interfere in the internal affairs of the DPRK, trigger the Korean war, to interfere in the franco-vietnamese war, and completely replace the French invasion of Vietnam; Everyone from somalia to kosovo interferes in the internal affairs of other countries with the argument that human rights are higher than sovereignty. The so-called country human rights report issued by the us state department every year arbitrarily accuses other countries of human rights, but never sees its own human rights problems. This is because the standard of human rights is based on Americans' subjective uncertainty and even double standard. In the 21st century, the United States' intervention in Haiti's internal affairs, Asian affairs, Iraq's internal affairs and invasion of Iraq are all manifestations of laissez-faire idealism. In addition, the U.S. government plays politics at home, deceives voters, exaggerates the influence and threat of other countries on the United States, and finds a reasonable and legitimate basis for the costs of foreign wars and other interventions.
As a result of this laissez-faire, the United States ignored the United Nations charter and recognized rules of international law, so that its so-called Allies are opposed to its behavior. The United States has broken its word, not only globally, but also within its Allies. As the world moves towards multi-polarization, its hegemonism and power politics will inevitably come to an end.
The idea that the United States can do whatever it wants in the world because it has the world's unparalleled weapons of murder and that force can solve all problems, no matter how many times it fails, has not changed. In military operations, it is laissez-faire, and a war can be started on any pretext. For example, the Korean and Vietnamese wars of the last century, as well as the intervention in somalia, the invasion of panama and the war in kosovo; Since the beginning of the new century, it has waged wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, indiscriminately massacred Afghan and Iraqi residents occupied by it, and sent drones to indiscriminately kill Pakistani tribal residents. Ignoring the sovereignty and human rights of other countries, the UN charter and universally recognized principles of international law is the ultimate act. As a matter of fact, in the two world wars of the last century, no country that launched a war gained the ultimate interests, no problem was finally solved, no final problem could be solved by war, and only peaceful, non-military political means could be used to solve the problem. This has been recognized by people all over the world. However, because the United States pursues the philosophical basis of laissez-faire idealism, it has never reached a consensus with the people of the world.
From education, education theory in the United States is to respect students' personality and their free development. In terms of teaching methods, students should be allowed to study freely and autonomously. It is believed that students' personality is innate and inviolable. Students' learning knowledge is more or less innate rather than the result of environmental influences. This is the basis of Hegel's idea. The author learned from the survey of students studying in the United States that the basic education in the United States is very bad. Most of the talents of the higher education come from all over the world and are bought with us dollars. Many graduate tutors come from different countries. Can think, without native talent, innovation motive force is insufficient. From education thought, there is also the existence of individual heroism and "superman" spirit, which can be reflected in American films. In addition, religious culture is also deeply affecting American social consciousness. Religion itself requires people to believe in the existence of objective spirit which preceded human beings and obey the will of god. But god did not tell Americans what to create to create growth and how to get out of the economic crisis.
In terms of ideology and morality, whatever is in line with the individual interests of the United States is moral, whether internally or externally, and whatever is in line with the national interests of the United States is moral. Therefore, the United States will criticize and criticize the human rights and moral concepts of any other country. Only in this way can there be countless cases of campus shootings, murders and rapes at home. Only in this way can there be a sexual scandal involving the President.
In a word, the decline of the United States is not only economic, but also political, cultural, military and social life. Interference in other countries' politics and economy will not change the direction of their overall recession. The fundamental cause of America's decline is its idealistic world view. The only way to change or delay decline is to abandon its philosophical foundation of idealism.

Sorry not Sorry
I’ve been thinking about all of this, that is, race relations, where I fit, my own identity, and so on. I’ve realized we need to move on. It’s so aggravating to assimilate and appease white culture. To live in an area that claims to not be racist but has an untold requirement to speak only English. I can’t go grocery shopping with my mom without being stopped or questioned, and on top of that my mom has it worse than anyone else due to her accent and struggle with the English language. But that’s what this community wants. It wants us to be aggravated. This pushes us to fit in or get the hell out. And this realization came as I was tutoring two Pakistani, American born kids. They were speaking Urdu to their aunt and I looked over my shoulder because I thought the aunt had called my name. I know the kids don’t know I’m Middle Eastern, so they responded to me how they respond to any white person. They apologize and say they know their language sounds aggressive but they’re actually not mad at all. I was shocked because that was the same line I gave to my school friends when I was their age. I vividly remember the last time I even said that line (about three years ago when I was talking to my mom at a conservative law office). So bottom line? Society is making us, Middle Easterners, to be aggressive. Because terrorism is wrongly associated with the far east. Obviously terrorism stems from language... *SARCASM* Funny thing is Farsi is an indo-european language, but people choose to feel differently about Farsi than French. Now that is a real social construction slap in the face.

11th May 2017
It is great day today ,in terms of what a learned, today I got up earlier than before, I ate breakfast and then went to library, I read 《story of philosophy 》during the whole morning, Ehbal stood at the same desk with me At noon I eat with Zubayd who is Pakistani, we discussed about his major, about experiments he is doing recently on environment, also he told me that his scores were very high, when he was in his country, he had got 4 out of 4,and now his scores are still very high,he showed me his points, he got all higher than90,unbelievable, this guy is studying very hard, he is going to finish his PHD in two years when it’s a three years course, it’s a meaningful discussion, I learned something, I thought I was doing great jobs but now I find it’s not enough at all. I should do better from now on. In the afternoon ,I still stayed in library until 6pm, I went to East door to eat with Dan. Who is an American teacher here, we talked a lot, about philosophy.about life, about different religions, he was Jewish, we discussed a lot, and on the way back to library, we continued our discussion, we talked about politics and things happening in China, he told me that when he was in XiAN, he met some American teachers , secretly tell people to convert to Cristianity, they tell students be Cristian and then they can go to heaven, there were really that kind of teachers who lied when they came this country at first, and Dan worried that when government find it,they, all western people may be deported, so he was very unhappy about that. Furthermore, he told me that most Americans are real Cristians, they really believe that religion seriously.he told me that although he is Jewish, but he is really interested in Buddhism, which is wrong in Jewish belief. He told me that he interested in Chan, which is kind of typical Chinese Buddhism in Guangdong, when he read a book written by Japanese writter about this special religion, he felt it’s just telling him something, he feel something special. Afterwards, he wanted to know more about it. He also told me that the procedures are too much and complicated in China if he want to work next year again. Also, he told me he thought every Chinese teachers in universities were member of communist party ,the truth is most of them are, because they have to be to get a job, but still some of them are not if the job didn’t required in that time. He told me that he knew some teachers were not Atheist, they believe Cristianity but at the same time. They are member of …,means they are lying to get jobs. And then I told him that there are many people doing the same, they have fake beliefs in communism …in this country, many people just doing something that they dont believe forever. He told me that after working some years in China, he came too the conclusion that Chinese are too complicated and tricky, never trust Chinese, although it’s kind of extreme, but in most cases it’s totally true also from my experience . I knew, He just found that he can’t trust anyone in this country, because even the whole ideology, politics are fake, and people lie anytime, anywhere, and dont care at all . He said telling people who have different belief that it’s wrong and they will go to hell is totally wrong. Most Cristiann just do it anyway ,from the history to now, even ather religions do the same no matter it’s morally wrong from the very beginning. From that things I talked with my tutor and with Dan, l learned a lot, l love this kind of discussion with people from different religion and culture. I always can learn something new. From those discussions I learned that ignorant people are everywhere, unhuman and immoral politics are in this and other countries, but unbelievablely, the whole thing people believe in Chinese is created my politicians on purpose to control people’s mind.Dan knew government her dont like any Cristian or any other religious groups come China and convert people to religions… It is true even from the 《history of philosophy 》,Burke disliked politicians’ creating ideologies and “ism” to the lives of flesh -and -blood human beings, also personally I believe it’s totally wrong and immortal politicians to create ideologies and other fake belief to control people, human being should be have this basic rights to decide what to believe, but very sadly in this country, people are brainwashed from they are a child ,people are tools of politicians to use to achieve their aim ,people no the basic dignity and right to have their own mind, it’s very sad thing in this world.
