she’d been on a break for some time now , with the initiative of some of the avengers laying low being a factor of it , but stepping out into the battlefield sometimes had to be taken a beat , her eyes were fixated on a book ( rather so distracting herself more like ) from the phone beside her , waiting on any messages from him , as a reassurance that he was alive .

she hadn’t worried for anyone in so long ever since pietro , anyone in her life well pretty much . . . had worried for her or shunned her out , not until he came along . and the rest had been history . that heavy accent was notable anywhere —her body jolted to excitement before she could even say anything , her eyes are filled with relief , arms wrap gently around him , careful to bump any expected pains or bruises that she had assumed were present . “ you’re here. ” —her voice is soft , but shaky , and whisper closely to his ear. “ I don’t care how messy your voice memos are , I just want to make sure you’re alive . ” arms were still around him , worried that if she lets go , this may just be another illusion in her head .

We’re preeeeetty sure he’s a top; I’d like to say that we kept all possibilities on the table until we got to know him better, but in actuality it was kind of the first vibe we got, and his very first scenes just cemented it lol

We’re currently on pretty early chapters of the event though, so no ships yet! But knowing how last year with Fellow went, it’s very likely that we’ll have a guy/everyone scenario lol
