wonder if red felt pressured she had to act like that all the time, or disappointed that she couldn't live up to the image as well as her sister. so it didn't matter how she got with her husband, if she felt that herself was never good enough. it feels like she's demeaning herself the entire time while she's giving advice. so its not so surprising that she felt detached about him after he died.
