Hey y’all! Weird question. Is there a way to get a definitive diagnosis about whether or not the flashing lights issue I have is flicker vertigo without an EEG? I found out last week that EEG adhesives are a fairly bad asthma trigger for me, and idk if there’s a point in continuing to try to go to the neurologist if they can’t actually test me for anything Also, side note for people who get migraines: does taking a benadryl* end your migraine if you take it in the beginning stages of the migraine, or is that a “my allergies are weird” thing? *specifically US benadryl I think it’s a different medication with the same brand name somewhere else but I can’t remember where
#the person behind the yarn#I mean. I do get migraines but only with allergies#and if benadryl completely fixes my migraines...I figure that's not really a neurologist issue that's an allergist issue#I also get pretty bad muscle cramps and spasms but I already got the neurologically test about that one#and it's not nerve related#also I have like...three different 'I process electrolytes wrong' health issues#my muscle cramps are almost definitely related to that and thus#and endocrinologist issue (or possible nephrologist)#really it's just the flicker vertigo I'm trying to go to a neurologist for#but the one neurologist I couldn't even get in the door because his nursing staff smoked outside it#and the other I found out I can't be around EEGs#so like...at this point I am very close to just listing neurologists as an asthma trigger#fun fact: cops are also an asthma trigger! not a joke!#well. kind of a joke. it was one specific cop#his cologne was so strong I had an asthma attack in a Chilis once#anyway the list of people I am allergic to is: neurologists! a cop! and my sister!
