The vast majority of these are Ingo-related and focus on disability but there's some Emmet stuff too! Enjoy.
Ingo got pretty beat up in Hisui. He ends up with life-long chronic pain from some of his injuries. In the scenario he stays in Hisui with Emmet, he's forced to retire early from active Warden duties because of them. In Unova, he goes through physical therapy. It doesn't fix all of his problems but he's able to keep working longer than he would in Hisui.
The most impactful injury is to his back. Shortly after arriving in Hisui, he has a nasty fall while avoiding an alpha pokemon. The Pearl Clan is honestly amazed that he isn't paralyzed as a result. It gives him lifelong pain and he starts slouching to try and compensate which offers temporary relief but makes everything worse in the long-run. He actually loses a bit of height due to the injury which is a nasty shock to Emmet who realizes he's looking down at his older twin for the first time in his life. It's not immediately noticeable unless him and Emmet are close to each other, though.
Ingo doesn't remember his second name - Nobori - which is extremely distressing for Emmet. He does remember Emmet's second name - Kudari - but not Emmet's official name.
The head injury that caused his amnesia also has some long-term effects. Most of them fade away after the first few years but when he first came into the pearl clan's care he would have episodes of disorientation and confusion. A few times he wandered off into the snow while calling for 'Kudari.' For the first few months they always have someone watching over him so he doesn't get lost or hurt. As his brain heals, he starts having better cognition. By the time he's Lady Sneasler's warden he's able to function well. The sensory problems - he almost completely loses his sense of smell and is even more sensitive to sights and sounds than before - stay for life. This is probably part of why he's able to tolerate being around a bunch of weasels all the time LOL
He tried dating a lot. He had a profound sense that something - someone - was missing and that he had to fill the void by his side. You'd be surprised how popular this stinky sad man was among the people of Hisui. Sadly, all the relationships ended in disaster either because Ingo was a little too odd to maintain a relationship with OR he was frustrated with their inability to be 'that person.' This contributed to his depression.
Emmet has severe survivor's guilt over the whole thing. Things were really bad for him in Unova but because Ingo has visible scars and he doesn't, he's convinced himself that Ingo had it worse. Ingo disagrees and tells Emmet that it doesn't help to compare their pains when they're so different. Emmet just looks at him like 🥺🥺🥺
The wormhole that took Ingo also dropped an ultra beast right into the station. Emmet was fighting the Ultra Beast to protect passengers and sometimes he regrets choosing to protect them instead of Ingo. He didn't know that he was in danger - but he should have, right?
Like with the other fallers Ultra Beasts are attracted to Ingo because he gives off the same vibes as a wormhole. He's not allowed to stay in the villages for long because of this and spends most of his time in the wilderness with Lady Sneasler. One of his unofficial duties in Hisui is finding ultra beasts and chasing them out.
Emmet fucking hates Ultra Beasts. He's aware that it's not really fair and they don't exactly have control over it but he absolutely blames them for his brother going missing. That they still attack Ingo after the twins are reunited only fuels his hate. He doesn't like Ingo going out alone because he worries that one will pop up and attack Ingo - or even worse, steal him through another wormhole.
Ingo's hisuian pokemon are very protective of him. Machamp offers to carry him a lot on bad days and makes sad faces at him when he refuses. Let Machamp carry you, Ingo! Lady Sneasler just picks him up whether he lets her or not.
Ingo gained a lot of muscle in Hisui but also lost a lot of body fat. He's muscled in a very wiry way. Meanwhile Emmet's feelings of guilt caused him to lose a lot of weight.
