what they don't tell you about having posts blow up is people will compete for the opportunity to be The One who adds something onto it in the hopes that it will become The Definitive Version of the post that goes around. this can range anywhere from pointless but harmless commentary to annoying garbage that's an active diversion from the point you were trying to make

#i don't really care about the 'growing up means you love both your fun interests and adult stuff' thing #it makes people happy so who am i to say anything #but the laundry post actively boils my blood. dude it was a post about overcoming executive dysfunction #i mean ok sure it's fine to turn it into a silly joke about losing socks i guess #could be way worse i shouldn't be so mad about it #but like duuuuuude it was actually meant to be wholesome and inspiring..............................#doing laundry is a great way to get your clothing back.... peace and love.....#suit yourself but come on mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn #peach rambles #also bc the person who added it seems to be the sort of funnyman who's always adding dumb annoying stuff #if you make a 'career' as a blogger being that kind of person i will never find anything you say interesting #real comedy comes and goes with the situation you can't try to force it anywhere or on command
