#reading through my old entries today like miss ma'am witaf

One thing I love is that during the time when I was reading through a bunch of my Greek heavy magic books, I started just adopting the texts' way of discussing magic. So instead of being like "yeah I made myself a ritual to draw chthonic energy into this river clay, mixed with a healthy helping of graveyard soil, to build temporary spirit houses for a curse I want to do," I would fucking troll the shit out of my journals, and any possible future readers, by writing them like, "You simply gotta travel down to Tartaros, harvest yourself some dirt from the L. river, and compel it into the shape of hounds. After that you just direct them towards your target, and you're done" (but with more words, obviously. I wrote them like I was working on a fantasy writing project). Which is, arguably, the funniest shit I've ever heard given what I actually wrote in my grimoire
