I keep most talk about my WIPs limited to discord servers and private chats with friends who I know get me, and will listen to the unedited, unfiltered, imperfect version of the story in my head.

(The super imperfect stuff gets saved for drives with Hollie, because Hollie is frequently the one who helps me get from "abstract concept" to "on paper, making sense.")

But what I'm currently working on...it's for Femslash February. It was only meant to be 5000 or so words. Right now it's at 7k, but with what's remaining of the outline it's easily going to hit 10k. It's soft and tender and a little sweet, and the two characters it focuses on (Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles) are so fucking stupid it hurts.

I don't usually write miscommunication tropes, but when I do, I really write them, you know?
