Also uhhh hi gang! Haven't thought about Kirby in a hot minute but I'm still alive lmao

Admittedly I've been worrying a lot about my Star Allies fic, namely characterization, and I think that's made it harder to check in bc my brain is weird like that... ^^;

I'm thinking though that at some point I may just reread what I have, and if I have enough things to change I'll just rewrite them fresh sometime and set the old ones aside as archived drafts. As for the blog itself, ig we'll see if I stick around or if I'm just popping in for a sec?

#ramblingonandon #re the characterization my BIGGEST worry is I've done Kirby so darn wrong #they're too meek/traumatized really. and i've added extra challenge/weirdness with the poyospeak #im reluctant to change poyospeak bc in my brain kirby just Does Not Speak English (or Japanese even)#so even knowing about canon radio dramas and the like it's impossible to write them that way and be happy with it #that said I do think I can change how they interact with the others. little less parentified child surrounded by dysfunctional adults #and more surprisingly resilient/upbeat/kid who can just Be A Kid surrounded by dysfunctional adults /hj/lh #(well. tbh I don't write Marx as an adult which is half his problem but. ykno)#on that note I also probably write Marx too tame in his intro fic #i did a better job with him in the taranza draft i think - he's more Obnoxious in that one - but uhh i never finished it #so doesnt entirely count lmao
