so here's where i complain---

i feel like the mexican adaptation no one did any research. the places and ppl mentioned ysblf, i believe, are real places and people. 'el santuario' is shown to be a real place btw, so im going to assume le noir and el meson are also real places. mario ribero (director of ysblf) and monica agudelo (a colombian telenovela writer who was friends with gaitan) are real people.

so why, in lfmb, did they reuse all those names? the places they pick for le noir and el meson, they make these fake signs for these places that are clearly not named those things. ribero and agudelo dont really mean anything to this production. it was gaitan inserting a personal touch to his creation. wouldn't it have been better to do the same in lfmb? they could have used the name of their director or name dropped carla estrada in place of agudelo. there was other options.
