I don't know how much you know about trolls, and I know very little about humans, so forgive me for rehashing information you already know/that is normal to you, etc etc. Trolls, as you probably know from what Lil said, have multiple partners. Most of the humans I've met (six, counting you, and two face-to-face) have talked about other humans as if they only had one partner. Most trolls have one partner in each quadrant. I'm... not most trolls.

aberrantcadenza Pff. No, no. I'm basically a mess and I do things that could get me killed on plenty of iterations of my home planet, maybe even my own. We were already slated to die from the beginning so it didn't really matter. Um... the specifics of that are fuzzy and I'm blaming the disjointed nature of this on blood loss. I have four partners, but only one of them actually "fits" a quadrant. That's Nepeta, my moirail.

bluejaywalks Context clues: different blood colors, you seem to be fine after blood loss, I haven't seen the scope of all the colors but I take it there's a spectrum... rainbow, as in, blood. Your partner is some kind of alien vampire. Creature of legends lends more points to that. Did I hit the mark?

bluejaywalks Humans only bleed red so there's not much of a rainbow to drink.

aberrantcadenza Ohhh. Well. Yeah, my partner is "some kind of alien vampire." His name is Kan. He's actually the most relevant of my partners to this conversation, so... it works. Before I figured out how much of a mess I really was, Kan and I tried for pitch. Kismeses, as it were. And then I realized I quadsmear way too much to be comfortable for any quadrant-abiding troll and we ended up having a more... fluid, less defined relationship. We talked about having elements of rivalry in our relationship still. It never really happened.

bluejaywalks And this is how I factor in, with my clear intentions with this whole pitch thing.

aberrantcadenza Yeah. Kan's recently expressed more interest in leaning pitch with me. Truthfully the conversation was sparked by me asking him to talk to me about his jealousy, because I encourage communication with my partners always. He's also expressed that he wants pitch things to stay between him and me. I told him "if it works."

bluejaywalks So I may be barking up the wrong tree if things work out between you and him.

aberrantcadenza Yeah... although that's still an if. However... you deserve to be kept in the loop.

bluejaywalks And I appreciate that. I don't get that luxury often over here.

aberrantcadenza You're welcome to ask me anything, okay? I can't promise I'll know the answer if it's a fact question, but I'll answer to the best of my ability, or direct you to someone who can. I wasn't lying when I expressed interest in you. You seem like a great guy. You're fun, you're full of energy, I like verbally sparring with you and you made me think maybe I'm a little less hopeless at pitch than I thought. So... yeah. If I can do anything for you, all you need to do is ask.

bluejaywalks I do want to say, I'm not going to suddenly stop talking to you, or anything of that sort, if you two do work out, pitch-wise. You're fun to talk to and poke at, you're attractive, I'm very interested, but I realize there is no doubt a strong need for a physical presence with this that I unfortunately don't have the upperhand with right now. If someone beats me to it, I'm more than okay with staying friends. And annoying you with really bad puns and my face.
