aging is watching your body change in weird ways and get more disgusting each year and telling yourself in an increasingly aggressive way that it's fine so that the "beauty" industry doesn't get you

#very weird how the body changes so gradually that you only notice after a while #i keep being like oh i miss how my skin was when i was 21 i miss how flat my stomach used to be omg stop you're nearing 30 😭#your body's not supposed to look the way it did 10 years ago 😭 it's unrealistic. that said i need to go to the gym more often lololol #but the reasons for that aren't purely aesthetic which is important to me and one thing i'm glad has changed is that i don't consider #putting on makeup as taking care of myself anymore. actually i'm anti-makeup and anti-shaving now at least wrt myself #t
