Went back to calendar to see what other 'holidays' are coming in February (besides Valentines). Was reminded that it's pączki season!
Now I'm hungry and want pączki :(
#pronounced poonch-key for those who aren't familiar with the polish pastry#my faves are bavarian cream#apple#and lemon custard#i need to pay that one local bakery a visit before the season is over#they make them fresh daily#and they are SO GOOD!#best time is when they first open#when the pączki are still a bit warm#i'm making myself more hungry now lol
