i think a problem (which isn't actually a problem) i had with tes is that i'm in too deep in OC and fanon lore-making (like a good portion of the people who have been invested in this franchise for a long ass time lol) and all this was kept in private circles that were basically writing and reading back and forth with a couple of friends. so 90% of what i'm interested in writing is usually stuff like bleekus bookuns's merethic era adventures in a dwemer sweatshop and his relationships with other non-canon characters. and i used to think this was a problem because why bother posting about something that *i* am the only audience

but the thing is that ppl do write and post their entirely non-canon stuff all the time and i just didn't know that until now. very beautiful and inspiring
