Is there a specific player you'd like me to write about from your list or are you okay with any of them? Like is there any you're REALLY into right now? Hmm, right now, I'm really into Jamie Drysdale, Jack Quinn, Mat Barzal, Ilya Sorokin, Josh Norris, William Nylander, and Joseph Woll. However, I am okay with the fic being with any of them -- I will let you take the reins here.

I tend to like fics that are more on fluffy side; however, angst with a happy ending also sounds great!

The fic...I'd love for it to take place in the offseason!

I don't really have a preference; I'm content with either or.

As for now, I can't think of any topics that I don't want included. Oh! I don't tend to handle bloody and gory things very well 😅

Hmm, ooh, I am a power wheelchair user; I have been using a wheelchair for a good chunk of my life due to a chronic condition I have, so I'd love to maybe see that included.

My preferred pronouns are she/her!

Some of my hobbies include: writing, reading, listening to music, photography, doing crossword puzzles, learning new languages [and learning in general], and spending time with my family and friends!

I don't really have a fic length preference in mind

I can't think of anything off the top of my head that needs to be addressed for now

Hi!!! Summer fic exchange writer. I have a good outline for a story. Had a question though. I’m very big about inclusivity, and I want to make sure that I describe power wheelchairs correctly. Is there anything I should know about being a wheelchair user? And is there language around wheelchair use that I should be aware of like power wheelchair user or person who uses a power wheelchair type thing? I know different people prefer different things.

ooh, that's an excellent question; to which I will answer to my best ability.

Being a wheelchair user has its ups and downs. For example, I have met many people in my life who look at me in awe and inspiration because of how I am able to stay happy and cheerful and positive, even though I can't walk. Even with that in mind, there are challenges I have dealt with throughout the years as well. I regularly get stared and gawked at by strangers. I have to be on high alert to avoid people who are walking and are on their phones at the same time [it's a big pet peeve of mine]. So many places are off limits for me; I am unable to even go visit my friends at their houses because of inaccessibility -- they most often have to make the trip to my house because it's where I am most comfortable. Flights...flights are a nightmare as there is always a high chance that my wheelchair would get damaged or lost [which usually always happened].

I have had opportunities not being available to me because of my wheelchair. I have never been out on a date or had a boyfriend because of my wheelchair. It's just an extra baggage I carry with me. No guy ever wanted me, romantically or to fall in love with me. They thought that dating someone in a wheelchair is hard stuff.

Being a wheelchair user, just because I can't walk anymore, it doesn't mean I'm not happy; even with the challenging circumstances I face, I live a happy and fulfilling life. My wheelchair isn't something to be scared of; it gives me my freedom and it's not something that anyone should be scared of. My wheelchair gives me a great amount of freedom and independence. For me, being wheelchair-bound is definitely a challenge and something one has to deal with, but it does not mean accepting the condition you’re in. I view my wheelchair as a challenge for me to do good for the people who deserve it.

As for the second part of your question, I am completely fine with being described as a wheelchair user, physically disabled, or person with a physical disability -- in fact, this is how I usually describe myself when I talk about my disability. Something I do not, under any circumstances, appreciate being described as is handicapped, wheelchair-bound, and homebound.

hmm, my top five favorites at the moment (in no order) are: Joseph Woll, Matt Rempe, Jack Drury, Nico Hischier, and Jakub Lauko :)

as for my favorite tropes, i love enemies-to-lovers, mutual pining, friends-to-lovers -- essentially if it's fluffy, i'm automatically down to read it

as for the fic itself, i'm okay with it taking place either during the hockey season or the summer! as for my favorite activities to do during the summer, there's not a whole lot since i spend a majority of my time indoors 😅 but i do love to make homemade ice-cream, sit by the window and quietly observe a thunderstorm or two, and just in general, spend time with my family and friends!

ooh, i am from and currently live in the Midwest (go Gophers!), but I have also briefly lived in the Boston area as well. I am planning to go to business school and hopefully get my master's in business analytics. I am the oldest of two (I have a younger brother who is in college rn). I LOVE baseball and I try to watch every game when I can -- Go Blue Jays 💙😆 -- and....let's see...I also love to play video games on my PC.
