When you moved away from home to attend Seoul University, it felt like the world suddenly became bigger in front of your eyes. You remembered all of your mother’s warnings about how it would be harder now, more responsibilities and obligations would be coming your way, how it would be different from the relatively small high school you were used to. Of course, it was all true, and it was hard to adapt at first. However, you didn’t have the heart to tell her that college was nothing but a bigger high school if you met the right people. That was always the impression you had when the name “Jeong Yunho” was mentioned, or God forbid, if he ever walked by one of your friends.

One of the first lessons you learned was that an A-list celebrity wouldn’t have a chance against Yunho. You knew that for sure because someone made an online poll on the college forum for people to vote on it a while ago.

Some knew him by his excellence in hockey back in middle and high school, which still stands untouchable for his age. At least, that’s what you heard from one of your roommates.

“People dug it in the news?”. You were flabbergasted. You looked up from the open notebook on your small desk to your friend, who showed you the photo from an old news article back in 2007.

It was no surprise that prestige and recognition could get anyone far in life. It was much less surprising that people’s eyes shined at someone who had it all. But the lack of having better things to do was truly impressive. You knew you had 3 essays and a quiz coming up, so that effort would never cross your mind.

He truly had it all, but wouldn’t those same people take everything away from him if they could? But who are you to say anything, right? You only ever known him by name and a vague description of how much tall and handsome he was, what would you know.

If his father saw them, no, if he ever dreamed about both of them being anything more… his father would never step foot in a place like this. Those thoughts plagued his mind in moments like these, so it took him some effort to think rationally again. The cold sweat only made him more uncomfortable, waiting for his boyfriend in a simple chair in the so familiar corner of their favorite restaurant was never this nerve-wracking. The window showcased the snow slowly cascading outside. It was supposed to be a nice date, the first snow of the year and all of that, so why. was. he. still. alone?

He did his best to seem as casual as he could. Mingi wasn’t picking up his calls, has he left the house yet? It seemed calm enough. Seonghwa told him about a massive traffic congestion on a main street close to their house, but he only seemed to breathe properly when the forgotten phone was found on the couch. Seonghwa tried to ask him if things were alright and he was quick to say yes. They exchanged ‘i love you’s and Seonghwa said something like ‘don’t get home too late’, which made Yunho laugh, because he was the one who told them to “have fun wink wink”. He hang up feeling a bit better.

Mingi was on his way, he only had to be a bit more patient.

Mister Kim really was too kind for his own good, wasn’t he? Yunho knew he suggested the drink, more than willing to make it for him. Was he really having such a rough day enough for a stranger and Mister Kim himself to notice? However, that was a thought for later, when he finished the warm green tea.

It was only after Mingi and him helped Mister Kim close the restaurant, that he noticed the small “cheer up, bro” written in a black marker on the cup with no pickup line and no phone number.

What a wake-up call right there.

Mingi almost broke his neck from laughing when he saw it. That’s when Yunho decided right then and there he liked that lady, whoever she was.

By the time you were back to that restaurant a week later, you only remembered the taste of the best moon cakes you’ve ever had in a while. You always crave some when you missed your mom’s desserts, but none ever got close to hers as those. Hopefully, there’s still some left to take home with you.

The place itself wasn’t modern by any means, it felt like a voyage back to your childhood the moment you first came in. You were desperate to escape the cold and the smell of fresh coffee and baked cake led you right to the front door that first night. Although old-fashioned to its core, every surface seemed pretty clean and organized. The soft music playing was a plus for you, so you slowly walked to the empty front counter.

This time was no different, except the distinct smell of strawberries and the fact that there was no client in sight. The nice old man was cleaning one of the tables while humming along, it seemed like that was his favorite song. Since he was in no rush to greet you, you slowly looked through the displayed options, happy to see 3 moon cakes left.

“Excuse me, sir?”. You looked at the man once again. He was now working on another table, but he stopped humming, so you took as a sign to keep going. “Perhaps is there a strawberry cake on the oven right now?”

“Do you like strawberries?”, he asked as he took off his gloves and looked in your direction. His tone was as soft as the first time. He really doesn’t look like he ever yells.

“Oh, yes, I do. It’s my all-time favorite flavor”. You couldn’t help the excited tone on your voice. Strawberry cake always meant something good happened, the only good luck charm you still believe in.

Slowly, you blinked as you processed the name you just heard from the tables on the left. There were three round tables together, around 8 boys in total. They were impossible not to notice as soon as you came in the late evening, because not only they were loud, they were all well-dressed and good looking. Maybe there are truly God’s favorites, it was your only thought about them before you moved over to the counter. But now you were sure you heard the name Yunho in the middle of their conversation and you brain stopped working for a second. That was not in your Christmas bingo card. If it was the Yunho you thought it was, then you were just being weird for no reason. It’s not like he was an actual celebrity. But if it wasn’t him, then it was even worse to you. Maybe you were too invested in those silly conversations you had with your friends.

“Miss Strawberry, are you alright?”, Mister Kim, you found out his name, stared at you with genuine concern.

You stood paralyzed in the front counter.

That was enough to direct everyone’s attention to you. Then, it downed on you how silent, except a few whispers, the small restaurant became. There was no music playing, which only now you were able to notice it. Those boys’ voices took so much space and created a new kind of ambiance to the point you didn’t notice the soft hum you became such a fan of. But now that it was all gone, you felt awkward and out of place. At the same time you knew nobody really cared about you, there was an immense pressure on your shoulders to act like they did.

“Can you bend down and help me bag all of the croissants?, Mister Kim asked.

Yunho, who was quick on his feet, started to work with a smile on his face. Even if he wasn’t asked to do so, he’d jump to help as soon as he saw it. The display was too low and Mister Kim’s back is not the same anymore.

“Are you taking the back pain pills the doctor told you to?”, Yunho’s tone was light, but he seemed genuine on his concern.

You heard some murmurs as an answer, but your focus was elsewhere.

After a quick glance anyone could tell that Yunho was as tall and handsome as the Jeong Yunho. But what does that even proves? Yunho was a good name to give a child? You were intrigued, the possibility was there after all. The normal man in front of you could be the Jeong Yunho, which if true, would leave you a little bit upset. “It’s alright”, Yunho said, but nobody seemed to notice but you, it felt like it was for you after all.

“Should I call you instead, Wooyoung?”, Mister Kim said in a serious tone and the boy was quick to apologize and stuff his mouth with the same strawberry cake you had.

After that, the room slowly filled up again with small conversations here and there while Yunho whispered to Mister Kim and once in a while, met your eyes with a gentle smile on his face. The light exchanges were interesting, but you tried not to pay much attention on the words, because you felt like you were intruding on something you were not supposed to, like coming to a friend’s house while they were having family dinner.

The bags of croissants soon took up the whole space on the counter. At the end, there were 9 bags waiting to go home with you and would’ve be impossible for you to carry everything on your own with the cake bag.

“Mister Kim, don’t you happen to have a giant bag, do you?”

He wasn’t sure he had one big enough, still, he went to look for something and this time, he did asked for Wooyoung’s help.

“I can help, Mister Kim”, Yunho said.

“You can help making some company to the nice lady and maybe thank her as well for the tea”, he said as he walked to the back, leaving you just as speechless as the man in front of you.

Yunho saw how surprised you seemed as you realized it was him all along and couldn’t help but chuckle. Now he didn’t feel as bad for not noticing you that day, you didn’t stop to do so yourself.

“You seem caught off guard”, he said as he giggled to himself. Your expression went from shock to embarrassment, he could read you like an open book, which was a nice change of pace. Now that he had a good look, he understood what a deer caught in red lights actually meant, you truly looked like one.

“I’m so sorry, you were in a dark corner and I just thought you seemed a bit upset, I didn’t mean to be rude or anything like that at all and…”

You were rambling, you didn’t know how to stop yourself this time. Your face was hot, you could feel it and the fact that he was actually giggling wasn’t helping your case at all.

It’s a constant fighting battle for him, when it doesn’t need to be. This much was said countless times before, yet here he is feeling guilt for nothing.

Jongho felt like they were in a movie or something, because there was no plausible reason for them to be whispering to each other in the small kitchen while Mingi was showering, especially not over this.

“Yes, we are sure. Don’t we all know how he is?”, Jongho asked as he looked around the table and he saw San nodding along. It was a no-brainer for him. Mingi was just… Mingi, there was no other explanation needed.

“He’s going to love the idea, that’s all that matters”, Yeosang said in agreement.

“Isn’t he the sweetest, hum hum? Caring about our feelings and all that”, Wooyoung teased as he pinched Yunho cheeks and anything he could get away with that moment. “You loooveee us so much, don’t you?”, he hugged Yunho for the nth time this morning.

Yunho stared him down, a failed attempt to seem intimidating. He was way too soft with Wooyoung, that’s why he’s such a brat.

Soda comes in different varieties of colors and tastes. The different colors remind me of his hair colors throughout the years. The different tastes remind me of his duality off-stage vs on stage. He can be a demon on stage but also baby girl off stage. It's clear some people like both of those personas, lol. Now, would he be a specific soda? Well, no. He is able to change his presence to fit the concept as he is the center of it all.

Seonghwa as wine 🍷

Hwa definitely gives off wine mom vibes fr. Wine is an expensive and classy taste like him. I can imagine him holding a wine glass between his fingers and stirring the drink in circles in a mansion. He looks so luxurious with a dark color palette (thinking about vampire hwa rn)

Yunho as sparkling water 🫧

Finally, now it's my time! (sorry I had to 😔) Aside from the obvious reference to sparkling, yunho reminds me of sparkling water. It can be seen as fancy but also convenient. I mean, we can survive on water by itself, but also sparkling water can help with hydration cuz atiny are always thirsty for yunho hehe 😜 (can you blame us?) Yunho is a reliable member! He takes care of his members when Matz isn't there to do so. He helps whenever he can and tries his best! Like water, he helps everyone and brings the energy Ateez needs to start the day!

Bro is always there to listen to the tea and create it, lol. Yeosang may seem quiet but will call out his members on variety shows. He knows what's up fr but also actually not knowing what's actually happening? (me fr) anyways tea can either be cold like his ice prince appearance and hot like the burning energy he brings on stage. His duality is crazyyy.

Once again, I associated san with fruits and being fresh. What's a refreshing drink than juice? Similar to his stages, it is so refreshing because he delivers a strong and different every time. He is enjoyable to watch on stage. Juice is usually drank at the start of the morning, often as part of a breakfast. Juice is a healthy choice and has many benefits. (Like how san likes to work out and being active) It also comes in many different flavors, resulting in its variety, just like how versatile he is!

Mingi as milk 🥛

I have, I've seen both sets that have been released so far, and I am dying over them. I am very very unwell and I am actually ready to die when we actually get to the comeback in like 10 days aaaaaaaa Get ready for a whole lil essay on this

Okie, so like first of all, everyone's already dying over it, but Seonghwa! His hair, the styling for him, everything! I love it all so much, and he's really solidifying himself in the lil soft spot I have for him an a couple other members (aka I'm ot8 but say that I have soft spots for Hwa, Yeosangie and Mingi for more context on why I use that wording) I love Pink Hwa, probably as much as I love Halazia Hwa, and omg I love how pretty he looks and I need his gender rn.

I'm also really here for Yunho and his hair color for this comeback too cause omg I love the color on him, it suits him so fucking well, and honestly it's a fun color as well, and I really think it fits in with the second concept photos they released yesterday.

And like in general, I really love the simplicity of the first set of concept photos, because like I feel like we've had some more like busier ones with the more recent comebacks, not that I don't love them, because I do, but I also love simpler concept photos because in like this set of them, you can focus on each member more, and every little detail of their styling and how it all is really cohesive. I also like the feel that we have half the members in more baggier looks while the others are in more fitted looks. It's just a really cool contrast, yet it all flows together with colors and accessories. hi I really enjoy fashion can you tell?

And then moving onto the second one with all the flowers!

Okay, so my first thoughts when I saw this is that it's honestly giving like almost Alice in Wonderland vibes-ish, But like also in general, this gives off like really princely vibes too, and I also love the colorful flowers against their very light colored clothing cause it makes them the centerpiece of every single photo. Also wavy/curly haired pinkHwa is gorgeous, and honestly, I went a bit feral over Wooyoung's concept photo for this one too. And like I'm just really here for all the hair colors and outfit choices going on here. It all gives very delicate and pretty, which is fitting, though I feel like these concept photos might be the opposite for what we'll get in the TT, but I'd be curious to see how this all fits in, especially considering the theme of Love that seems to be the centerpiece of this album.

But also the flower motifs that feature on some part of each member, in either very subtle or non-subtle ways, which is also really cool because it's something that makes their outfits coheseive, as well as the use of very light clothing, not only in color, but in type of material, though for most of the members, they're actually pretty covered up, with the visible exceptions being Yunho and Seonghwa, though even they're covered up with transparent material, with gives the sense of them showing more skin than they neccesarily are, and I wonder if that has any deeper meaning (it probably does in some way for the lore, it's Ateez) because it's almost giving a sense of like vulnerability? in a way? Like they're appearing more open wheras everyone else is pretty covered up. I dunno, but either way it's an interesting thing to think about.

I'm actually really excited to see the next concept, and maybe how it fits in with these two, because so far I feel like To's concept leans more towards a darker side, whereas Diary's is definitely flower boy and pretty and how I'd think you'd style a group for a concept around love, without being too too obvious.

Mirinae [Geography]

[parts of worldbuilding were inspired by Dreamcatcher's Deja Vu!]

As of the first book in this series, Mirinae dates to be only two decades old since fairies started inhabitating in it.

The planet Mirinae was made to look as much like planet Earth as possible, with its geography and land and seas and oceans, lakes and rivers, the plants and animals, the weather, etc.

The technology is mostly magic-fueled hence lack of pollution.

There are 4 continents- Aries, Scorpio, Leo-Gemini and CaLiSa. Fomalhault is considered more of an island than a continent.

There are 7 kingdoms named after the stars of the princes and the princess. The Kingdom of Aries is shared by Seonghwa and Yunho. The Kingdom of Gemini is split into two states- Castor and Alhena- for Yeosang and his twin.

There are 7 seas named after the birthstones of the princes and the princess (ex. diamond for seonghwa and yunho). The stones can be found reflecting in the sea.

There 2 rivers in Mirinae- one in the Kingdom of Scorpio called River Noor (meaning 'light') and the other flowing through the three kingdoms in CaLiSa called River Al Ard (meaning 'of earth').

There is only one desert which is in the Kingdom of Fire, stretching from Denebola to Algieba.

There are 3 mountain ranges- one in Bharani in Kingdom of Aries, one in the Kingdom of Scorpio stretching from Jabbah to Antares, and one situated where the three kingdoms in CaLiSa meet. Bharani hosts the highest mountain range.

There is one volcano range in a small island near Regulus in the Kingdom of Leo.

There are 2 suns in Mirinae- the purple sun often called the moon by the Princes and the orange sun. The orange sun resembles the sun from planet Earth and it shines during the day but dims during the night, letting the purple 'moon' take over and cast a purple but dark glow in the sky

The weather is controlled by a group of faeries in every kingdom specifically working to maintain a suitable climate for their kingdom.

Currently, the animals and birds inhabiting the planet were 'exported' or manufactured from the planet Earth.

Mirinae [Magic and Facts]

Apart from the major 9 elements of Dark, Light, Water, Space, Spirit, Earth, Fire, Air and Nature, there are a number of 'minor' elements and powers unique to their users.

Among them are shapeshifters who can shift into any skin, healers whose sole purpose is to heal through a variety of means, etc.

Reproduction/fertility rate is low for faeries compared to humans.

A daughter is rare. Identical twins even rarer. Fraternal even more. Fraternal with one son and daughter? Rarest.

The royals who hold power over one element hold a wide range of magical variety, some of which is left unexplored too.

Darklings are dark in nature but not necessarily evil, though they have no one but themselves to blame over their bad reputation.

Each of the castle built for the royals is unique to them in its decor and layout, reflecting the vibe of the owner and containing secret passages and rooms known only to the owner and their trusted few.

The system of monarchy currently runs the planet but rebel groups exist as well.

Much of the court system and laws are influenced from humans though some laws are unique to the faerie-kind. For example, necromancy is forbidden and punishable according to the gravity of the crime as judged by the courts created to deal with this nature of crime.

The currency is gold, silver and bronze coins and is universal.

All faeries are considered to be equal despite their age, gender or position. However, discrimination may occur at certain ocassions (turns out faeries aren't all that different than humans).

The favoured means of travels is through carriages or animals mixed with a little magic to increase efficiency.

Communication occurs the same- fire letters, water messages, telepathic signals.

Educational institutes are found in every city with studies focused on magic related subjects, history, running-the-kingdom politics, etc.

Again, most educational, religious and cultural aspects the faeries brought to this planet are the ones they once shared with humans since two decades ago, faeries, darklings and humans coexisted on planet Earth. But in the end, the faeries unite because for their existence, they have to depend on each other and function as one, putting aside any differences.

Naturally, the languages are human as well, depending on the faeries birthplace, but the faeries are able to understand a multitude of languages through magic.

Glossary

Original Dimension - the time-space the story takes place, the 'real' time-flow

Alternate Dimension - a layer over the original dimension with different time-space properties

The 'Other' Dimension - The one Yeosang and the royals casually refer to when they address the dimension of Yeosang's domain, the one where souls come to before moving on or deciding to stay

Portal - a gateway to a different time-space, where one or both could vary

Anti-nature - the term ateez use to refer to Gaeul's magic that literally seems like anti-nature since it turns into ash and does worse than kill now, even burning souls and sucking life out of the living things

Anti-magic - another term ateez used bc they're confused lol

Black hole - a mass of energy created due to an event that does not flow in its original time-space flow occurs

'Glitch in the matrix' - an irregular occurence

'Water has memories' - a 'vague' concept of certain memories linking to the water bodies they occur in so they can be accessed by other water users

Yin-yang bloodline - the prestiged bloodline of Nature users, kept secret. They are able to access an element other than their original nature element, usually earth since it's the closest in its properties. Some can access even 2 more. The yin-yang users can connect with their soulmates to access their element as well.

Cold fire - perhaps an element of its own, resembling fire in its original plasmic state and ice in its colder temperatures. Can burn like fire but with its extreme cold temperatures. Can also manifest as ashes resembling snowflakes

I'm so glad you wrote about San! I've heard him referred to as the fan-attracting fairy for Ateez. He's the one that people notice first before they get into the group.

It doesn't surprise me at all that he grew into his size, especially if you look at his dad. Being the son of a taekwondo instructor definitely instilled in San a sense of discipline that he applies to every aspect of his life.

I actually perceived San first as a dancer/performer before a vocalist! If you watch his fan-cams for the different eras, he really brings a sense of theater to his performance. He's a self-taught dancer and had to be guided by Mingi and Yunho in their early years, but he really developed a style of dance that is so uniquely his and a lot of it is based on his expressive personality on stage. As you mentioned, that kind of commitment to the concept requires a great deal of vulnerability. Poor San was mocked by small-minded kpop fans for his "overdoing it" during their Guerilla stages...so much so that he had to ask his parents not to search for him on the internet!! 😭 But what I admire most about San is that he refuses to compromise his artistic integrity. I think the more recent concepts have allowed him to really inhabit a "cooler" style and obviously IOMT made him viral in South Korea. It will be interesting to see where they take him next! imo, I don't think they're going to mess with his look too much since that's such a big part of his idol persona at the moment: his size, his "northern prince of the mountain" look, his italian mafia himbo look for D&G...it's really working for him!

Listening to their Killing Voice performance lets you see how important San is to the vocal line and how well he complements Jongho when they sing together. He's actually a fantastic harmonizer!

I also agree with you that the strategic deployment of bangs is key to a successful idol. I think it's purposeful that they dressed him in a fuzzy white seater and fluffy bangs for his Lee Mujin service appearance, because it makes him appear as harmless as a kitten.

I'm writing about San for a post I'm uploading tonight about the San/Yeosang ship so I have a lot more to say about his on-camera/off-camera person!

jokes aside i think this is uhhhhh...another case of fans discovering what can happen in your twenties lol. especially if you're motivated. still kinda impressive though. preliminary analysis suggests a lot happened in 2020, though he wasn't fully done cooking until around guerilla era in 2022. haircuts have done a lot for him. i don't have enough expertise in dance to comment much on his technique and ability other than to say he is really fun to watch and whatever he's doing works really well for ATEEZ. so long as he's being safe i think he should keep on keepin' on. his energy and athleticism are addicting to watch and complement other members' dance styles well imo. a thesis i'm coming to through writing these things is that ATEEZ is marked by a level of diversity between different members that all cooks together into a really good soup. movement styles are part of that. also pls go watch him doing taekwondo moves it's so hawt...

and then, he's not the Lead Vocalist for nothing! god i love his voice. in terms of tone and color -i actually sorta prefer it to jongho's-. there's a whine to his voice (i promise that's complimentary) where it (COMPLIMENTARY) constantly sounds like he's on the verge of crying, that i just love and matches his sensitive boy side well. but he's also just a total powerhouse in his own right. again i gotta remind myself i wanna do more in-depth vocal analysis but just. he's good ok. he's got the power he's got the tone he's got the vibrato??? san solo power ballad WHEN. just. listen and enjoy. also this, go to the end of the bridge around ~2:55. what the FUCK.

[!] For those who do not know, Lipstick Prince is a South Korean show broadcasted back in 2016 and features seven male idols learning about makeup techniques and applying these skills to invited guests which are usually female idols. The show hopes to break stereotypes and that makeup is not only for women and encourage topics of cosmetics and beauty among male idols. I do remember watching this show and feeling envious because I want them to do my makeup too. 😭

Hongjoong:

He would enjoy learning how to properly put on makeup with the help of his head mannequin that the staffs gave him. These days, he wasn't able to meet you due to his busy schedule and he often dreamed about putting your makeup on for you. And as if the stars heard his wishes, he was surprised to see you during shooting schedule. His heart leapt and he was so happy that the MCs pointed out how he was all smiles during filming.

The concept for today's filming is "innocent makeup". While the other male idols and Hongjoong were busy practicing on their mannequin, Hongjoong tried to mix light and cream colors for the eyeshadow, topping it off with a lighter shade of coral blush and a dusty pink lipstick. And as filming progressed, they finally came face to face with the female idol. Hongjoong wasn't nervous at all, in fact, he was confident and tried to be a little flirty with you on set - even when the cameras are rolling. Gently, he swiped his brush and applied the eyeshadow evenly across your lids. Purposefully peering his face close to you, so close that you could feel his hot breath against your lips.

Seonghwa:

Even though you weren't called to be a guest for the show, Seonghwa thoroughly enjoyed being a prince for the show's season 3 and enjoyed learning more about makeup and the skills needed for it. He could definitely say that he picked up patience and perseverance while in the show.

The concept for today's filming is "awards ceremony makeup". Wrapping up his practice with his mannequin, Seonghwa used a vibrant red shade of lipstick as he claims that the color and vibrancy would surely turn heads. And because of it, he was appointed last. Seonghwa patiently waited for his turn, and when it it was his turn, Seonghwa walked inside the oceany green colored doors and lo and behold, was shocked to see you as the princess. Not shy, Seonghwa would feel a little bold and confidently applied your lipstick with ease. Using his finger to swipe any lipstick going beyond your lips.

Yunho:

He was known in the show for trying his best with cosmetics and told the viewers that one day, he would be prince of the day soon. And it was through this show that Yunho learned that he was good at applying the blush. Not too less, and not too many. The MCs pointed out that his good knowledge of brushing any excess powder blush with the back of his hand before applying it on his mannequin. And for today's episode filming, Yunho was appointed for blush.

The concept for today's filming is "spring makeup". When the MCs introduced that you are today's princess, Yunho immediately got up on his feet and clapped profusely. Saying how he is a big fan of you, when in reality, he is so happy to see you. And when his turn came, not only did he applied your peach shade blush for you, but he took his short time into making you laugh as well. The MCs pointed out how relaxed he was, which was unusual because he was always shy with the previous guests. And when it was done and you were told to show them the final outcome, Yunho's heart beated fast, realizing how the concept and the colors (mostly his use of peach) suited you best. When the MCs asked you who did their best today when it comes to makeup, you pointed at Yunho. Finally, Yunho's turn of becoming prince of the day came.

Yeosang:

When Yeosang learned that he would be a fixed prince for a show called Lipstick Prince season 3, he was delighted. He knows that you always struggled with applying your eyeliner by yourself. And Yeosang was determined to learn how to put on eyeliner for you.

The concept for today's filming is "cat-like makeup". The MCs then showed two images of a cat-like inspired makeup. And whenever Yeosang was on set and practicing with his mannequin, he would always think that it was you who he was testing the makeup on. When the MCs finally introduced who is the princess for today and out you came from the princess doors, Yeosang couldn't contain his happiness and excitement upon seeing you. And with you, he was cautious with the tip of the eyeliner on your lids, carefully not to poke you too hard and doing the job of drying the liquid with his hands. After a minute passed, he told you to open your eyes. And as you did, your eyes met his dark brown orbs, you in the middle and his eyes sparkling. Yeosang felt pleased at how well he did.

San:

For today's episode, the concept that the princes would be doing is "Audrey Hepburn style makeup". While practicing with a mannequin, San felt confident that he can do it. And with that being said, the MCs gave him one of the difficult jobs - putting on the mascara.

Stepping inside the beauty room, San was all smiles as he came face to face with you - his idol s/o. Going over to the vanity table and picking up the black mascara, he slightly bent down and his face came to level with yours. A light tint of pink crept through his cheeks, trying hard to focus on the makeup and not how his heart is beating fast inside his chest. As he drew the mascara wand closer to your eyelashes, you slightly leaned away. "Shouldn't you use the curler first?"

A chorus of laughter echoed from outside the room and San felt himself flustering and dropping the wand before taking the curler. "Please look up, I might pinch your skin too" he says in between fits of giggling.

Mingi:

You are one of the foreign idols of your group and at the same time, privately dating Mingi for almost three years. In a span of three years, the two of you have managed to stay hidden and lowkey from the public - going on dates with the help of your respective companies and managers being the message bearers for the two of you.

It wasn't often that Mingi saw you with minimal to no makeup. He always knew that you would wear at least one or two in your everyday life. And when it comes to your group promotions, Mingi always took note of how heavy your makeup would be. And it was through Lipstick Prince that he understood your love for cosmetics. He too, enjoyed playing with lipsticks, eyeshadows, eyeliners and highlighters. And it shook him when you came as a guest for the show at the same time, the concept was "no makeup look". As Mingi stepped inside the beauty room, he picked up what he learned so far and used a natural, glowy base concealer to enhance your skin's natural beauty. Leaving your skin dewy and not cakey. By the end and the MCs told you to come out of the princess doors, he was shocked to see how the concept looked best on you. It was as if he was seeing you with no makeup for the first time.

Wooyoung:

Wooyoung found coming face to face with makeup a bit of a struggle for him. This was different with cooking and makeup requires a lot of focus and precision. But, when he accepted to be a fixed prince for the show's season 3, he would do his best - oftenly asking tips with their makeup artist.

For today's episode, the concept is "chic lavender makeup". Wooyoung took note of the use of lavender in the eyes. He was cool even when the MCs introduced you as the princess of today's episode. And while Wooyoung was practicing first with his mannequin, he mainly focused on the eyes. Adding the aegyo-sal under your eyes with glittery lavender shade eyeshadow.

And as he entered inside the beauty room, he couldn't help but feel relaxed and throw flirtatious comments to you, to which the MCs commented how confident he is. Carefully adding the glittered eye switch to create a more youthful look. Even though it wasn't part of the look, the MCs praised him for being creative with his look.

Jongho:

For today's concept, the MCs introduced "school girl makeup" wherein the use of innocent and no make up looks are mixed. He was doing fine with practicing with his mannequin, not until you stepped out of the princess doors.

And as Jongho entered the beauty room, his face turned bright red. The MCs teasing the youngest prince how his hands suddenly felt clammy while he picks up the eyebrow stick. And no, if you think Jongho would touch you, he wouldn't. He would respect your space and would just hold his write and carefully adding faint faux freckles on your cheeks and across your nose bridge to add a youthful look in your makeup.

When his turn was over, he stepped out of the beauty room sighing while covering his red stained cheeks. He didn't expected to see you as the princess guest for today and surely he knew you would tease him after filming wraps up.
