its so crazy bc the best thing abt orym is how fervently he loves and believes in the other hells, and just how big his heart is in general. and its so fascinating because those things are constantly being complicated by the position he's in, and his own survivor's guilt and insistence on pushing it all down, on playing the soldier. and yet a lot of people who claim to defend him will like. completely erase these things from his character. he doesn't love the hells so much he'll sell his life away to keep them safe, he distrusts them so much that he relied on them failing to get power for free. his emotional repression isn't an unhealthy coping mechanism thats sending him further and further into fear and depression, it's the smart, responsible thing to do. he's not terrified of change because all he wants is to return to the world he lived in 6 years ago, he just knows that the only moral path is keeping things exactly the way they are. its wild!! hes so compelling and the people who claim to love him most don't seem to know it!!
