#why solve partial differential equations when the perfect fantasy farm dream is right there#like i booted up animal parade yesterday bc i felt like death from period cramps and it was such a delightful nostalgia bomb#pretty sure if i play magical melody i'll just cry the whole time bc i sunk soooo many hours into that as a kid it just can't be beat#the newer stuff is good too (the story of seasons ones i mean) but there's something so soothing about the slow pace of the older games#trio of towns felt so GO-GO-GO with the huuuuge amount of stuff to do and tbh stardew valley gives me the same stressed out vibe 🙈#just let me chill rather than push me to optimize my crop rotations or whatever
