the most stressed i've been at work in my entire life. and it's not even really that stressful but i swear one of these days the passive aggressive teams messages my boss sends me will be my downfall

#when i tell you i am friends with literally everyone i work with #have put in large amounts of effort to cultivate positive and friendly relationships with each of my coworkers #EXCEPT #my boss #i cannot for the life of me figure out how to talk to her #i can't figure out if she likes me or not #and she's very picky and straightforward #which is fine but also she doesn't thank you for doing stuff??#or seem appreciative of how hard everyone works #literally heard her saying “he's really dropped the ball this year” about one of my coworkers #he's literally such a hard worker???#he made one mistake yesterday which tbh really didn't seem like a big deal to me at all #and everyone was talking about it and it was like this big drama #but he literally just brought books back to the library to early #so he just had to take books back??#i'm trying to figure out if something happened #bc the way ppl were acting #like?????#jesus christ calm the fuck down #ppl walk on eggshells around my boss and i'm starting to get why
