I'm confused why would they wanna punish the fans, the cash cows for their future payola album? (I'm just curious to hear about ur thoughts more since I love to read ur blog lot)
Thanks for the ask. It's a good question. Why punish fans?!?
I've probably said this too many times, but I'll say it once more. I think Bang PD can't stand the idea of anyone under a HYBE label being successful without his direct influence. Threatening to put NewJeans on an 18+ month hiatus when they're doing so well is such a red flag. And while HYBE probably can't afford not to release Jimin's music and content (or they are contractually obligated to), they can gatekeep the heck out it by not giving him playlisting, not servicing his music to radio, only promoting his new album on Instagram, not providing pre-save or pre-purchase options. The company accepts that Jimin has a loyal fan base, but the goal is not to grow it.
Think about the extraordinary amount of money Jimin's fans spend on his birthday events/promotions. Can't you see BSH seething at the sight of all that money spent to support Jimin that could have been spent on BTS merchandise? And the fact that no other member - even his precious chosen one - gets that kind of love and loyalty reflects badly on the group. Jimin is a brand unto himself. That's only a boon for the company as long they can control his popularity and make money off of it. At the end of the day, I think BSH resents Jimin's huge appeal and popularity. He, so far, hasn't been able to recreate that love and loyalty for other BTS members or TXT, his other brainchild.
So, BangPD punishes Jimin's fans by gatekeeping Jimin's projects and Jimin himself. Has anyone else had the nagging sense over the last year that maybe Jimin's access to fans is being intentionally thwarted? Why wasn't he given more opportunities to perform live? Why was CTT released when he was already in the military even though the song was records long before? And can we talk about how the company completely ignores fans' requests for better promotion, more CDs, and radio play? That's another form of punishment.
Your question is, how can the company afford to anger and alienate Jimin's fans when they are going to need their purchasing power when the group returns in 2025? Two things.
HYBE can't lose. If they treat Jimin like crap (as they have so far), the fans get their "revenge" by raising and spending even more money on album sales and streams. The right response to his mistreatment should be a complete boycott of all Jimin and BTS merchandise, but nobody wants to hurt Jimin, so it'll never happen. While making Jimin's music rank high on Spotify and Billboard charts may feel like revenge against the company, I promise you it is not, because the company is laughing all the way to the bank as fans mass buy and mass stream.
Chapter 2 has proved that a large portion of ARMY do not care at all about the music and are in it for the parasocial aspect of fanning. Look at V's photo book announced this week. Selling out on the first day, multiple printings, and for what? Photos of his feet? Madness. $100 for BTS Minions Funko Pops? What?!? I keep thinking maybe fans will realize how they're being used as an endless cash stream, but so far no.
Ultimately, none of us know what the heck is going on in BSH's head or within the company, so your guess is as good or better than mine. I leave you with this interview from Billboard Magazine, which has some little gems that I think explain a lot. Let's talk about it soon.

Cyberchase - Revising Digit's Backstory (part 2)
The Hacker was more organized for the Gollywood bank heist than he was with the armored cars. He was the man in the recharger chair monitoring the situation, as he could not risk being seen. Digit did much of the covert work of quietly unlocking doors and drilling holes in walls, as The Hacker could not risk losing his most valuable henchman. Buzz and Delete were there for the crowd control and heavy lifting, as they were too stupid to be trusted with anything else.
The bank heist went well at first. The Hacker hacked into the security cameras and set them to only show a looping video on the security monitors. Buzz and Delete tore apart the alarm system as instructed. However, in their fumbling, they also tore apart the phone system, which wasn't part of the plan. Digit opened the vault without any difficulty. They vacuumed up Snelfu after Snelfu into a small fleet of remote-controlled Cybercoupes. As each Cybercoupe filled, it was sent back to the Northern Frontier via a different route. If a Cybercoupe was intercepted, it was set to blow-up to hide the navigational data. The Hacker quickly became a multi-millionaire.
However, even The Hacker could not anticipate everything. As the Cyber-sun began to rise, the guard watching the monitors realized that the cameras were still showing nighttime. The guard was not alarmed yet. They thought that maybe the cameras were malfunctioning. The guard attempted to call their supervisor, but the line was dead. Recognizing that they were cut off and fearing for their safety, the guard pressed the button to set off the alarm. Nothing happened. This confirmed the guard's fears that the system had been tempered with.
At this point, another worker was able to alert the Gollywood PD. The Hacker pulled everyone out. Digit was able to escape unseen, but Buzz and Delete were caught. The Hacker knew that he was in trouble, as Buzz and Delete would tell everyone who he was, and where his base of operations was. Without a proper ship like the Grim Wreaker, he became a sitting duck.
Digit was able to disguise himself as a guard, pick the lock to the holding cell, and bring them out. However, there was no time to ruin the security cameras. For the first time, Digit's face, albeit disguised, was associated with the crime. By the time Buzz and Delete were retrieved, they had mentioned the name "The Hacker", with an emphasis on the "The". But that name meant nothing in Gollywood, and the police had no idea where the money had gone.
However, the heist of the Bank of Gollywood was a big deal. Nine million Snelfus were lost. The armored truck heists were allowed to remain local affairs, but something this big went straight to Motherboard. At this point, The Hacker laid low. His money was hidden in Valussa. He sent Buzz and Delete away to a Cyber-Cheese factory, where they could blend in with many more Botopolis kit robots. The remote-controlled Cyber-Coupes were destroyed across Cyberspace. Then, all The Hacker had for transport was the slow pod that he was banished in. And all The Hacker had for an ally and caretaker was Digit.
Motherboard and Dr. Marbles were shown what little evidence remained. The two captured bots had claimed to have been working for someone called "The Hacker", but they had escaped before any further questioning could be done. There was also footage of the last time the bots were seen, where they were being led away from the prison by a guard. Motherboard and Dr. Marbles recognized Digit through the disguise, but they decided to hold that information back, as they were in disbelief over seeing him again.
The Hacker and Digit were put on trial for the crime, in spite of the lack of evidence. The prosecution presented The Hacker as a cunning mastermind causing chaos beyond what Cyberspace had ever seen, with Digit as his purpose-built tool. The Hacker presented himself as a sick Cyborg with a broken power supply living out his exile. He arrived in a recharger chair cobbled together from odds and ends that he (truthfully) needed to survive.
The entire Northern Frontier was searched for the Snelfus or any alternate forms of transport, but nothing was found. Without the two bots, the stolen Snelfus, or any reasonable transport to cross Cyberspace to reach Gollywood, the entire case against The Hacker rested on the idea that Digit worked alongside The Hacker during the heist. However, without the information from Dr. Marbles or Motherboard, they could not prove that he was in the guard uniform. Digit took the stand and denied any involvement for himself or The Hacker with the bank heist or the prison break.
As part of the questioning, Digit was asked about The Hacker's prior crime of stealing the Encryptor Chip, and whether he believed that The Hacker had tried to take over Cyberspace at the time. Digit's reply was "Well of course I do! I retrieved the chip and turned him in to Motherboard for it!". With the reveal that Digit had previously foiled The Hacker's theft of the Encryptor Chip, there was no way to convince anyone that he had helped The Hacker in the Gollywood bank heist. The prosecution's case imploded.
Though Motherboard believed that The Hacker had done it, she was bound by the laws. The Hacker and Digit were acquitted, and the Cyber-Constitution ensured that they could not be tried again for the Gollywood Heist. Shortly after The Hacker left the courtroom, Buzz and Delete quietly returned to him from the Cyber-cheese factory.
The Hacker's wealth was gradually retrieved from Valussa and used to fund the construction of the Grim Wreaker. There were times when Digit yearned for the old days when they both worked at Control Central, but any serious idea of leaving The Hacker had left him. He wasn't even sure when that had happened. Maybe it had been that first ride to Valussa. Hacker had been so quiet, trying to keep himself alive with what little power Motherboard had so cruelly marooned him with.
Meanwhile, Motherboard and Dr. Marbles were distraught. They realized at last that Digit had been instrumental in saving Cyberspace once already. There was no doubt now that he would have never gone willingly with The Hacker. No, their theory was that Digit had been abducted, they had failed to act, and that The Hacker had reprogrammed him to prevent further betrayals. They desperately wanted to save him, but forcibly reprogrammed borgs were an absolute nightmare of red tape to deal with. They needed time to build a case.
With the Grim Wreaker completed, and still millions of Snelfus left-over, The Hacker was ready announce himself to the world. But it wouldn't be another bank heist this time. With his money out of Valussa, and no further use for the site's armored cars, he had no reason to keep their lights on.
And so, The Hacker revealed his power to all of Cyberspace. Buzz and Delete were delighted, for what that was worth. Digit, on the other hand, found himself feeling sick. This wasn't an armored car dumping its money and having it blamed on rust. This wasn't a big bank getting drained. This was an entire Cybersite being conquered and dropping off the map. He thought back to the theft of the Encryptor Chip, the first and last time he had stood against The Hacker. Had Motherboard and Dr. Marbles been right to send The Hacker away after all? He thought back to that first armored car, when it had just been him and The Hacker. He had only wanted to get him the money to keep them both alive. It had seemed like no big deal back then, when The Hacker was so weak and desperate. The Hacker wasn't weak anymore.
But then, what was Digit supposed to do? The Hacker would surely punish him if he tried to defect now. And where would he go? He knew he couldn't go back to Motherboard. From the armored car heists, to the bank robbery, to freeing Buzz and Delete, to ruining the court case against The Hacker, Digit knew he was a bad guy now. Nothing he could do would change that. The Hacker had only had one chance, a chance that he had thrown away by stealing the encryptor chip. Digit knew that he had received many more chances than that, and he had thrown the last one away in that courtroom.
No, he had to do something to stop The Hacker. Even if he couldn't side with Motherboard, he had to side with Valussa. Digit decided to send a coded message down to Valussa. If they could figure it out, they would be saved. Maybe, just maybe, The Hacker wouldn't find out this time. A future of armored trucks and banks would be better than this.
At that point, Dr Marbles had arrived at Valussa to assess the situation. The circuits were scrambled, and it had been done by someone who knew how to make the repairs as difficult as possible. There was no doubt that The Hacker had done it personally. Still, without inside information, this was going to take ages to repair. Motherboard had insisted that she would be fine while he was away, and that his priority was to save Valussa. And so, he started from the site's endpoint, with its known power requirements. He needed to work out the correct position of each node in the giant tangled circuit.
And then the coded message came through. It was Digit's work. His writing style was all over it. But why was he sending it? Was this some sort of taunt? Surely, The Hacker would approve a taunt to be sent without writing it in code.
Still, the code wasn't hard to work out.
"MOVE MOON RAY LEFT TWO FEET"
Dr. Marbles read the message over and over again. Was this some kind of trick? Was it really this simple? Dr. Marbles made some calculations, this time starting from the moon. Yes, even among the mess of circuits, there was an alternate path there. Moving the moon ray left by two feet would re-activate the site. It was almost as if The Hacker had left an alternate path on purpose so that he could make a big show of turning on the lights later. Marbles gave the order, and the site was restored. After everything, Digit had saved Valussa.
Unfortunately, The Hacker was also able to break the code. He was aware of Digit's betrayal. And this time, he had two more henchman, a few million Snelfus, and a large ship. There was no reason to be calm this time. No, this time, The Hacker was enraged. After everything they had been through together, Digit had ruined him again. First, The Hacker had lost the Encryptor Chip, and now he had lost the very first site he tried to take over.
Of course, Digit needed to be caged. If this was some attempt to defect to Motherboard, then The Hacker had to quash that immediately. Digit was still his perfect machine, and he had given him all sorts of useful abilities. if Digit stood in opposition to The Hacker, it would ruin him.
But Digit was not so easily caged. After all, he still had his beak, purpose-built by The Hacker to open such locks. And so, he made his escape.
The Hacker refused to give up, of course. The Grim Wreaker roared past Valussa in pursuit of Digit. The only option available to Digit was Control Central. Sure, between the bank and the armored cars, he was terrified of what Motherboard might do to him. Still, if there was anyone that could cause The Hacker to flee, it would be her.
Buzz and Delete pleaded with The Hacker to turn away from Control Central, as they feared Motherboard's wrath. However, he would not listen. The Hacker was just too damn mad. What had started as a small show of power in an insignificant cybersite...what had started at armored truck robberies...had become a full frontal assault on her. This wasn't part of the plan. The breach wasn't there. The virus wasn't there. Motherboard was still the same bastion of strength as before. But Motherboard would not have his bird, even if Hacker had to crush it against the site's dome.
As both Digit and the Grim Wreaker neared Control Central, Motherboard opened a portal. With The Hacker closing in, Digit reluctantly entered the portal. The Grim Wreaker attempted to follow.
And Motherboard put her foot down.
And so, Digit was face-to-face with Motherboard again after so long. The dome of Control Central's main room reminded him of the bird cage he had just left. And he wasn't stupid enough to try drilling his way out of this one. Not when she had eyes all of the room. Her first question was "Are you hurt?". He knew his wing was broken. "I'm fine. Thank you," he replied. He felt her running medical scans almost immediately. "Your wing is broken," she said. He wondered when she had bought a medical scanner calibrated for Cy-boids.
Motherboard continued. "I can help fix it, but I need your permission to power you down first." Powering down seemed like a good idea right about now. Digit nodded, and Motherboard powered him down. When Digit awoke later, he was in his old bed. For a moment, he had some hope that everything had just been a bad dream. Maybe he would get up, join The Hacker in the Legacy Communications Array (LCA) for its near-constant maintenance needs, and everything would be like how it had been before.
But, of course, The Hacker was nowhere to be found. Everything Digit had done was real. And now, he was in Control Central. He wasn't really in the same room as Motherboard. No, Motherboard was the room, more or less. Her eyes were everywhere. Her sensors were everywhere. Every wall in the place had at least one layer of circuit boards behind it, hence the removable decorative panels.
With no other option, Digit arrived in the main control room. Dr. Marbles was at the keyboard, and Motherboard was on-screen.
To be continued

wow, your latest qna about DN made me think, who is the most and least aggressive person in ranking? What do you think KO? How would you rank them? I think my top three would be damon/ emory/ michael. Now that you've mentioned about damon and emory, it reminded me of your past posts about their personalities and collaboration, how well they could work together without having any problems because they probably are pretty much on the same level of aggression and level-headedness, and only until now, i never actually realised that emmy IS pretty aggressive and dominant?
I dont think PD executed em's character well, but because of that qna, it made me zoom out of my understanding of DN and compare and contrast these characters, and surely, emmy really was pretty aggressive. Like why am i even shock, lmfaooo. I think other than PD not executing it well, emmy was also dealing with a lot of doubts and fear when it comes the "thunder bay" part of her life. We dont see her hesitating afterwards right? But then we dont see much of her overall. This also made me think thats why the train exchange between emmy, michael and kai had to happen. Or she will just leave again lmao.
like In comparison to banks who is outwardly pretty aggressive, but in actuality, she is more of a good follower of damon, her mom, gabriel and even kai in that hideaway bonus than a good enforcer (like you mentioned) or a pioneer, i feel like emmy is more aggressive in spirit than banks, i guess? Naturally, not just because of survival. Which also made me find banks & emmy's dynamic to be so interesting because on one hand we have emmy who looks laidback (we're talking about after nightfall) and banks who has piercing eyes, but in reality if push comes to shove, emmy would lead banks, not the other way around? Oh, wow? Or am i wrong? Like, do you get my vision, KO? It made sense right? And i feel so much headcanon can be done with that where banks could possiblly and finally get a close friend who she can follow who would catch her and lead her well rather than try to cage her all the time like everyone who's dominant than her in her life rn? Damn! We could've had that!!!
like the cocky laidback dominant nerd and her very prickly piercing submissive rule-follower/enforecer best friend? Like this friendship will be the first time where the use of the word "submissive" and "dominant" dont sound condescending because both banks and emmy can feel safe in their dynamics because they saw nothing wrong being either role, because! Theyre! Besties! And! Would! Kill! For! Each! Other! And put! Others! To! Jail! For! Each! Other! Omg? Noooo, like can you see the vision, KO? AHHHH! I remember watching larryreads's reaction to reading nightfall and she mentioned something about emmy being a shy nerd and i was like what? Did we read the same book, because the word shy or blush didnt even exist in nightfall. I remember emmy being described as ready-to-fight, cocky and stubborn, and quite flirt/spicy when she let go too (hence why emmy overpowered alex in their friendship dynamic, or even between emmy and aydin/damon), as oppose to banks who's very beautiful, prickly, super great boxing fighter, outwardly aggressive, steady reliable great worker who can also work in the dark, very loyal and honest. Im not saying they both dont possess these traits, im just saying one is more dominant than the others when it comes to these traits, especially in decision making. Emmy dngaf much about being shrewd or use lies and manipulation in a bigger scale, but banks did grew up being forward, straightforward and honest. And omg, another contrast!!
OMGGGGG If DN is famous, AO3 writers wouldve written them as that powerful feme duo, frfr. Ngl, banks and emmy really reminds me of Tristan and Dante from the dark verse series by runyx, where tristan is banks, and dante is emmy. Tristan is that dark, broody, killer and dante is the mediator and decider. Remind me of lana myers and jake denver, jake is emmy and lana is banks in terms of the do-er and the mastermind. Submissive and dominant. Not in the temperament all the time, but in overall characteristics and actions? And i just noticed too that We just dont see because emmy as being aggressive or pioneering because of side characters overtaking her povs in nightfall + her being introverted. But even then, i feel like emmy's voice still surface above them when it comes to decision making whether anyone agrees or not, which is why emmy can also be very divisive in the fandom, Which omg!!!! This brings back to that MBTI test, emmy really does sound like an INTJ, haha! And banks, ESTJ? ISTJ? Anyway, didnt emmy took a lot of control in fire night? From her conversation with will, her going after the evil guys, and talking to the cops. Yeah.
Like tbh im just running off with these ideas, that qna opens up a whole new discussion for the emmy x banks best friends agenda that i never thought of before. It also made me consider different types of aggression, like physical, emotional and thinking. And i feel like inner aggression (in spirit) would still dominate others. No matter how i see, i cannot see anyone being ranked above emory, damon and michael in terms of aggression. i feel like even kai ranks below them, because he can be neutral and passive sometimes. But thats the thing, theres no right or wrong or whos better or worse like emmy was better because shes dominant and banks was worse because she was submissive; theres just only the ranking, and it actually does open up to a deep dive of these characters' traits, and how they shape each others' dynamics. And if they really are family who fight for each other and cross anybody who comes after them, they were bound to trust each other with their temperament, strengths and weakneses sooner or later right? Rather than everybody doing whatever they want, the task divided by the the keader would be more efficiently done.
so what do you think of these? I dont rank will, rika and winter because i feel like theyre more on the submissive side. And i believe they fully enjoy their roles and have no priblem doing whatever works for the sake of their family. Not every one can and HAVE to be dominant, what one cant do, the others can. Thats what found family does right?
This ask is so exciting! Let’s get right into it. I’m going to save my ranking for the end, but I did have to spend some time thinking about it.
i never actually realised that emmy IS pretty aggressive and dominant? I dont think PD executed em's character well, but because of that qna, it made me zoom out of my understanding of DN and compare and contrast these characters, and surely, emmy really was pretty aggressive.
I’m not really sure why people started thinking about Emory as a smol shy bean, because she’s not passive in the least. In the past scenes, we met her when she’s quitting the swim team, and she says this is because she can no long wear the swim suit but she knows this is going to piss Martin off.
The thing is, she pisses Martin off on purpose on the regular as a way to rebel. She’s quiet about her abuse because she wants to remain close to her grandmother, and I’m not implying that she enjoys it by any means. Still, she knows Martin expects perfection from her, so she purposefully doesn’t brush her hair or iron her uniform. She lets the buttons fall off her cuffs. You can’t tell me Emory couldn’t figure out how to sew a button. She quits band, too. She does these things to intentionally irritate him.
She goes to her first period class; a senior class because they moved her up from the junior level because she wouldn’t shut up and stop challenging the teacher. Of course, there she doesn’t speak up much, but considering the subject matter, can we blame her? She still walks out without the teacher’s approval.
Emory likes showing off. She likes feeling like the smartest or most skilled person in the room. She thinks of herself that way, for the most part. Even when she gets to Blackchurch, and she doesn’t know anything about anyone there, she still thinks of herself as better simply because she’s not a criminal (which is funny for someone who previously watched a murdered happen, and helped bury a body, and vandalized a grave, and nearly committed grand theft auto, and so on, but the self-awareness is difficult when you’re in an unhealthy mental state). And despite being in a room full of criminals, she shows no hesitation in trying to best them because it’s what comes naturally to her.
I don’t think that PD told Emory’s story in the best way possible. However, a lot of what makes Emory who she is, is subtle and takes some digging and examining to understand. This could be said for all the characters, it’s just that I don’t like most of the characters enough to try to examine them this deeply. There is one bonus with PD not giving Emory a lot of attention – there’s less time to make her contradict herself as we see with Damon and Rika. As their characters get more and more light, some things make less and less sense.
Regardless, I agree with her that Emory is one of the most aggressive characters in terms of personality within the main crew.
We dont see her hesitating afterwards right? But then we dont see much of her overall. This also made me think thats why the train exchange between emmy, michael and kai had to happen. Or she will just leave again
At this point, I don’t think Emory had any plans of leave which is why she agreed to stay so easily. But it’s interesting that Michael said she was going to stay at St. Killian’s where they could watch her and she immediately refused that in a way that made it clear she would still be doing what she wanted.
Michael has to decide if it’ll be worth the effort it’ll take to exert his dominance over her, knowing she won’t go down easily. He backs off because it’s enough that she’s playing along.
I think he knows that he could overpower her if he wanted to. It’s just not worth the effort when she’s cooperating, which means he knows how much it would take to get her to do what he wanted. It’s an interesting dynamic.
In comparison to banks who is outwardly pretty aggressive, but in actuality, she is more of a good follower of damon, her mom, gabriel and even kai in that hideaway bonus than a good enforcer (like you mentioned) or a pioneer, i feel like emmy is more aggressive in spirit than banks, i guess? Naturally, not just because of survival
This is an excellent contrast.
Banks, in my opinion, is great at getting things done. She’s capable of calling the shots and making decisions. However, she’s also interested in maintaining the established order of things.
Maybe that’s why she wanted to be Senator, or was at least willing to go along with it. Coming into the group, there was already a dynamic at play. Michael was the leader, Kai his second, Rika his girl. She’s coming in under Kai and Damon. There’s a structure to the way the group works.
She isn’t afraid to call it how she sees it, which makes her useful to Michael. Kai is much to interested in keeping things agreeable. For instance, in the Hideaway deleted scene when he almost doesn’t tell Will why they’re meeting without him. He doesn’t want to alienate Will or make him feel bad for his behavior, even though his behavior has been pretty undesirable from a business standpoint. Banks doesn’t have that issue.
Still, she doesn’t want to disrupt the order, so she sticks to her role and doesn’t challenge it. Being a Senator gives her a space where she’s the one in control. It’s a different structure than what she’s walked into with the Horsemen.
In terms of how aggressive they are in getting their opinions across or getting their way, I do agree that Emory is more aggressive than Banks.
if push comes to shove, emmy would lead banks, not the other way around? Oh, wow? Or am i wrong? Like, do you get my vision, KO? It made sense right?
I think what we’re talking about is a battle of wills. Banks is straightforward, while Emory is more reserved, but both are loyal and value their relationships, so it could be that with each other they’d bend a little.
What you’re saying does make sense, but I think the way I’m interpreting it is that Emory, insisting on her idea and visions, gets her way if only because Banks doesn’t want to fight it. It’s not something she’s motivated to do, and she’s fine giving Emory the room to be the lead in their relationship.
because both banks and emmy can feel safe in their dynamics because they saw nothing wrong being either role, because! Theyre! Besties! And! Would! Kill! For! Each! Other! And put! Others! To! Jail! For! Each! Other! Omg? Noooo, like can you see the vision, KO?
I agree that there’s nothing insulting about they’re dynamics. I really do thing that they work because there’s nothing negative about the way they approach each other. They’d support each other undoubtingly, but give each other room to be themselves.
When they’re at they’re best, I think Banks is more subdued and accepting than Emory is. Like I said above, Banks is more outgoing and straightforward, but Emory’s opinions on things are stronger, so I think Banks would let her have her way.
However, if it did come to a point where they were on opposite sides of an issue, Emory would probably hold out longer than Banks. Unlike Michael, I don't think Banks would be able to subdue Emory if she wanted to. I also just don't think Banks would ever want to.
Additionally, regarding what you said at the start about my analysis of Damon and Emory’s relationship – I think if a difficult situation arose, Banks would seek out the others before acting, whereas Emory and Damon would know what needs to get done and silently do it without involving the others. They’re not going to wait for confirmation, or for the crew to debate, or wrestle with their conscience. They know what the hard decision is and they’ll make it without needing to discuss it. Banks could make the difficult choice too and be confident in it, she would just talk to the others first. That's the difference.
If DN is famous, AO3 writers enver written them as that powerful feme duo, frfr. Ngl, banks and emmy really reminds me of Tristan and Dante from the dark verse series by runyx, where enver is banks, and dante is emmy. Tristan is that dark, broody, killer and dante is the mediator and decider. Remind me of lana myers and jake enver, jake is emmy and lana is banks in terms of the do-er and the mastermind
Unfortunately, I don’t know any of these references. I mean, I know where they come from, but I haven’t read any of those so I can’t confirm. However, if someone else has thoughts you’re willing to share, please jump in.
This brings back to that MBTI test, emmy really does sound like an INTJ, haha! And banks, ESTJ? ISTJ?
Ah, yes the MBTI. I never heard back from the person who asked me to clarify, but I guess I’ll take the chance now.
When I started looking at my original answers, I was overcome with this feeling that Banks was an Extrovert. But that didn’t make any sense; Banks as an extrovert? So I started reading scenes with her exclusively, and I realized that… yeah, there’s a good chance for it.
What I did from there was go to MBTI-Notes, which is a blog here on tumblr, and instead of going directly to the types to see which one “fit”, I went through the functions and through process of elimination, narrowed down which function seemed to be expressed through the character’s POV chapters. From there, I built a stack that formed a type. I then went to the type to see if it worked.
Understandably, most worked… if you take into account the types when they’re in “grips” or “loops” (are we really surprised that all of the characters fall in the unhealthy range for their type). Anyway, being stuck in a grip or loop can change the way you’re personality presents outwardly.
Through this method, I determined Banks was an ESTJ, and here is the page for that. With Emory, I came to the conclusion she was INFJ.
But I encourage you to go through the functions and see what you come up with. There were definitely times I was on the fence for all the characters, so it’s up for interpretation.
Like tbh im just running off with these ideas, that qna opens up a whole new discussion for the emmy x banks best friends agenda that i never thought of before.
That’s really the reason why I continue to post these asks. It opens up the conversation, allows people to see a different interpretation and think about it. Maybe you agree, maybe you don’t. But it gets the conversation started.
No matter how i see, i cannot see anyone being ranked above emory, damon and michael in terms of aggression. i feel like even kai ranks below them, because he can be neutral and passive sometimes. - theres no right or wrong or whos better or worse like emmy was better because shes dominant and banks was worse because she was submissive; theres just only the ranking, and it actually does open up to a deep dive of these characters' traits, and how they shape each others' dynamics
Exactly! It’s only natural that people have different strengths and weaknesses. I love when it’s clear that a group works because they rely on each other and make up for each other’s lack, and no one is made to feel ashamed for it.
Anyway, my ranking of characters in terms of how aggressive their personality it:
These three take the top, as you said. The way that I see it, them wanting things they're way is a driving force in all they're stories. They’re competitive, and hate losing. In fact, I think they feel the pain of losing more than they feel the satisfaction of winning, and that's what drives them.
Damon
Michael
Emory
Damon comes first for obvious reasons, Michael comes second because he keeps Damon in line, and then Emory because while I don’t think she can control Damon, she won’t be steamrolled by him either. And that says something. And since these three can handle each other, we know anyone else is a breeze.
Banks because she’s upfront about it. Then comes Will because he can be aggressive when he’s pushed to it. But also the whole Blackchurch, faking being subdued while he was actually waiting for the moment to take control, which he was planning and preparing for… he’s not as submissive as he wants people to believe he is.
Banks
Will
Kai
Also, the moment in Emory’s house when he tells her that Martin needs to know about him, that he’s her man now? All Will wanted was to get Martin in the same room so he could stack his claim on Emory. There's something about that assertiveness that gives Will and duality the other's don't have. His in the middle of assertive and passive, but he knows what he's doing and he isn't ashamed of it.
Kai is sixth in line because he can be aggressive, but he likes to do it in secret. It's not something he utilizes, and I think in a situation where the others above him might become aggressive, he might still choose to take a passive approach for reasons only he knows (or perhaps doesn't).
Rika has more aggression than Winter, but she’ll bow to any one of the others if they were to go head-to-head. I think it’s probably clear that any battle she wins, is because the other person decided it wasn’t worth the fight.
Rika
Winter
Same for Winter but I think she knows that, where as Rika honestly believes she’s dominating at times.
This was an interesting topic and I hope there's more to come! Thank you!!

Taming Piledriver
It had been a fight to bring in Piledriver. The supervillain was strong and tough and his cock sapped the willpower of anyone who got too close. The Platinum Panther had reconfigured the nanotechnology of her armor to counter the brunt of his powers, but this close, even she felt her pussy getting wet at the sight of his massive staff.
“Is that a baseball bat in your lap, or are you just happy to see me?” Platinum Panther said as she slid the experimental “Rehabilitation Sleeve” onto his glorious cock.
“Happy,” Piledriver groaned at the contact, pulling against the force field that kept him immobile.
“That’s right, PD,” the Panther continued. “Doing what I say is going to make you very happy. I’m going to teach you how to be a good citizen and stop robbing banks and enslaving underwear models and bad boy shit like that. You want that, don’t you?”
“Want that,” Piledriver moaned, his breath coming in short gasps.
This thing is really working, Platinum Panther thought. I could get used to this. Having a strong man so helpless before me is such a turn-on.
She leaned closer, her eyes locked on the spot where his super-powered cock disappeared into the sleeve. Maybe if the rehabilitation goes well, we can lose the sleeve and I can take care of this the old-fashioned way. Platinum Panther licked her lips. Keeping hold of Piledriver was going to be a fight … the most delicious kind.

A short life wouldn't be so terrible in a world full of the nouveau-riche and what is essentially instant infinite inflation.
I wad the bill into my pocket and look at the piles of depression mess in my room. Some of it might be worth something. Definitely the hand worked wall shelf I ordered from a friend's etsy months ago. Maybe some of the name brand fashion thrift finds. The bookshelf has at least a grand of literature and comics, most likely. But I spent what little money I've earned through my life to get those things. Selling them would mean a life less full, maybe a little longer, maybe not.
If I genuinely believe the premise the money came with, that this was all I needed for the rest of my life, then I'm either about to have a very short life, or a very fantastic one. Or maybe I'll make a single move and end up imprisoned until I die. I'll accept the challenge, either way.
I gather the few stashes of money I have around my room; the cash on my dresser, a few extra laundered bills from clean pockets. If $5 is all I'm going to need, they won't be necessary... I put them in a cigar box in my wardrobe, below my altar. I can game the system later, when I have no other choice.
I've lived on a few bucks before, but I didn't have a car payment back then. On the other hand, back then, everyone around me, putting me up and putting up with me, was also pretty broke. Now everyone around me is flush with cash. And would a bank miles away come after me for the debt if nobody who works there needs the bank to succeed anymore? Could they even convince someone to hunt me down if they did?
My neighbour up the street considers himself retired. He's getting piles of packages delivered by drone every day. What happens when the drones stop flying with no one to maintain them? One drops into my yard, I pick it up and tighten a screw absently. It flies off. I wave, wondering what the little guy's luck will look like next time.
I get a call from my friend. Her car won't start and she needs me to come pick her up from work.
Pick her up from work?
People still need plumbers, she insists. Moreso, now that everyone's retired. When I get there, I muse about calling a tow truck and she looks at me like I asked her to pick up the vehicle herself and drag it. There aren't tow trucks anymore.
Well, the trucks still exist. I ask if she thinks buying one would help us get her car home, so we can work on it there. She agrees that buying a tow truck is a perfectly rational and reasonable solution to engine trouble in this new world, and we drive to the nearest tow lot so she can haggle with them for one.
The sole human we find at the tow lot says to just take it, his employees all left, his contract with the local PD is irrelevant now, and his business is ruined anyway, he's done with it all. I see my buddy's car in the impound, trapped from a couple weeks ago by compound impound fees when the person downstairs at their apartments got it maliciously towed for "not belonging to a resident". The lot owner has a pile of money sitting around his chair, and he's miserable because he truly loved what he did and now he has no power to flex over others. We leave him to his misery, and when we get back to her car I hook the car up like I've seen done to my junkers so many times.
Some people stay at the news station, drawing a salary but mostly working because they don't know what else to do with their lives, how to avoid their wives, where to channel their charisma or have their hair and makeup done by someone they've known for years. They report on the suicides, increasing daily. They report on the most audacious purchases of the day. They report on the collapse of the service economy, the staffless stores, the looting. Money means nothing anymore, and everything.
I'd always fantasized about a cashless society. I think, if it had happened differently, maybe it could have worked.
The news gets worse every day... but it also gets far more entertaining. The theatre nerds from the local college started filling in the empty jobs at the station. I'm not sure if they're getting paid or officially allowed or just crashing the party but the makeup gets more audacious every day, the suits are being decorated more and more, the scripts using larger words. It's fun to watch.
A lot of the older generation are still going to their jobs. Power plant security, college professors, street buskers, many of them haven't changed a thing about their work lives.
The only restaurants still running were always good to their people, or are using family labour. They're always packed with customers willing to drown them in tips for even existing. Our gluttony as a species loses no steam.
Congress passed a bill setting their income to minimum wage. It's a completely meaningless gesture, but it keeps the people who want power in power, because it looks so good to their constituents who haven't quite adjusted to the idea that money is meaningless now. All the branches of government are being run by the people who ran for power or ran for genuine love of politics... the second group is much smaller than the first.
International relations are confusing and complex, but we don't need some of the allies we have, and we don't have power over others anymore. No Saudi oil, no Israeli military. No debt to China.
The reports are getting more chaotic, more farcical... and they're worrying me more. She asks me why we even watch the news anymore, and I don't really have an answer besides the growing tension in the back of my neck, how often I need to unclench my jaw these days.
We're out walking along an abandoned strip mall when I hear the sirens. I didn't even know we had sirens, but they're echoing through the town, and there are flashing lights every block or so.
We hear the planes before we see them, and we're running. We don't know where to run to. At the very end of the strip mall, one of the flashing lights is on top of a cylindrical construction. A shelter just big enough for both of us to fit. We run up to it, I press the big red "open" button, and the screen above it flashes.
Please insert $5.00.
Everyone received the exact amount of money they would need for the rest of their life. Most people got many thousands or even millions, while you were given exactly five bucks.

Lately with PD, i have been flying notes and letters since i found this one episode lately that got on my nerves a little bit too much to talk since i do things in a chronological order
finally Norway called them out for it.
since work is meant to pay off, the show (Pushing Daisies) has a legacy point, so the actor knows how to work deeper to keep face secret than making an obligation to please the crowds after despite them knowing chunks of the forbidden occults to make sure the viewer has a reason to find themselves back in relativity in time and space
not like any other aquatic variating reasons to search and make do for it
season 2 episode 10
Chuck's Dad has a relativity = Ned really saying a point that now RS should not affirm to but delayed time much sooner (bringing her Dad back to life by the forbidden occult book that was her wish ultimately bringing her closer to RS knowing she gambled away whats already been meant for her right back (friendship to the Queen like she is as pure as she is)
SMWC: Chuck actually made it up as she went along (optimism intuition) that did not lose her touch on the book (she can do the same thing as Ned does but ultimately if she did, she would have died by the same intrusive attack as RS at the time but she could have taken her as a demon than just a friend (lost bet) so she survived by light presentation (human plant period takes 15 years for a mind and hearts are just born with it but they known tested now for 10 years max upon arrival (world end vibrations does not seek support but of the weakest link known that will use them to power the Earth by slavery)
legacy: Squishmallows
Ned SMWC: he definetely wanted to shape the universe, but knowing how far he'd go to 'save' the world is condescending him to a point he cannot find but urges now the 'body of' a woman he will ever find if not for a spiral created by the end of season 1 (filler episodes indicating a return of _______ plotline is immaterial investigation, hence why manifestations occurring is inhumane to actor's priviledge (shams al ma'araf also gives ascension to users between ages 4-19 to ascend worldly thought upon feeling (crisis in the UK happened to work underneath a theory of their own cosmic understanding: west end productions is why Ned's materialism (The Pie Hole) is more UK by rhetoric than US grabbing RS for theory)
gambled promise in the SAMA: private parts to be honed in on himself because your erotic nature in the show (as revealed) is themselves based on by true feeling of than of the outside world perceiving you being (what and why you're made of)
legacy: Lee Pace can actually bring back the dead (as on the show) but he also made now history on the viewer's representation being declared unified whole than breaking the latter of social deformations of an evil astrologer on the clock app
Emerson SMWC: he has a point, now if Anson Seabra makes anything equivalent to you, then you knew i was right by predictions of the 17th Doctor hesitating and reinstating time going by in wonderland poverty, so initially he rejected himself 5 times on the show if you see a very open sentiment about what he could have done than releasing victim porn the first time, Cod had no idea all the way through (the actor) but he played guess who multiple times to see people his way (Simone the dog person) now believing in a theory that escapes him seeing Ned (RS) in a social prison of his own, he was the black kid grown up in the OG stranger things getting into a semi-occultist observation of his own theory (he lies all the damn time)
gambled promise in the SAMA: being with Simone (actress irl is always one of them) but he also knew Pokemon was the ending of everything (if you did your homework right) he gambled the Pokemon franchise with it (knowing he'd get back rights for everybody to be pokemon trainer one day by theory) also he gambled the banking industry to settle the score with Sue Sylvester sarcastically (not even how and why she stopped working cuz she lives on dreams... no. black holes) that
legacy: everything Ryan Reynolds did in Detective Pikachu is a clock work legacy of EC knowing PD too well that Chuck won the title name (theres a bet going around HW that the best of the worst case scenario characters live it knowing the missing member is letting the poor people go in there for free)
Olive SMWC: rationality and reasoning (her family did it for her)
gambled promise in the SAMA: cartoon universes live on (theory knows best)
legacy: RS alive and well *beginning of the end but it neverends*
#this feels like Hunger Games broadcasted this to you#when they setting up the games#and you about to die#the vibe is real but you're put off from reality#and you knew how you were gonna go

Which Compact Power Bank is Best for Smartphones and Tablets?
About
In today’s fast-paced world, staying connected is essential, and that means having a reliable power source for your devices on the go. A compact power bank charger is a game-changer, offering portable and convenient energy to keep your devices running without weighing you down.
What Is a Compact Power Bank Charger?
A compact power bank charger is a portable battery pack that fits easily in a pocket, bag, or even a wallet, providing on-demand power to smartphones, tablets, cameras, or other USB-powered devices. Its compact design makes it ideal for people who need quick, on-the-go charging without the bulk of larger power banks. Compact power banks come in various capacities and sizes, typically ranging from 5,000mAh to 10,000mAh, making them perfect for short trips, commutes, or everyday use.
Key Benefits of Using a Compact Power Bank
Portability: The main advantage of a compact power bank charger is its portability. Small enough to carry anywhere, these devices eliminate the need to search for an outlet, giving you reliable power wherever you are.
Convenient Charging: Compact power banks are compatible with most devices, including Android, iOS, and other USB-powered gadgets. Whether you're at an airport, in a meeting, or on a hike, you can keep your devices charged with ease.
Multiple Charges: Despite their small size, many compact power banks offer multiple charges for smartphones and other small devices. This feature is particularly useful when you have a busy schedule or are traveling without access to charging stations.
Quick Recharge: Many compact power bank chargers offer fast charging capabilities, ensuring your devices are powered up quickly. Some even support fast charging technology, like USB-C PD (Power Delivery), allowing your devices to reach 50% or more in a matter of minutes.
What to Look for in a Compact Power Bank Charger
When choosing a compact power bank, consider these key features:
Battery Capacity: Battery capacity, measured in milliampere-hours (mAh), indicates how much charge the power bank can hold. A 5,000mAh compact power bank charger can charge most smartphones 1-1.5 times, while a 10,000mAh model can provide around 2-3 full charges. If you’re a heavy device user, a higher-capacity power bank will better suit your needs.
Size and Weight: One of the main benefits of compact power banks is their portability. Look for one that strikes the right balance between size, weight, and battery capacity, making it easy to carry without sacrificing power.
Charging Speed: Fast charging capabilities are ideal for those needing quick power-ups. Look for compact power banks that support fast charging protocols like USB-C PD or Quick Charge (QC) to keep your devices powered up in minimal time.
Durability and Build Quality: A good compact power bank should be durable enough to withstand daily wear and tear. Look for models with sturdy cases, often made of metal or reinforced plastic, to ensure longevity.
Number of Ports: Some compact power bank chargers come with multiple ports, allowing you to charge multiple devices at once. This can be a great feature for those who carry several devices and want to power them all simultaneously.
Top Uses for a Compact Power Bank
Compact power banks are versatile, making them useful in many scenarios:
Travel: Avoid searching for outlets in airports or on trains with a compact power bank that keeps your devices running.
Outdoor Adventures: Whether hiking or camping, a compact power bank is essential for keeping navigation devices and phones charged.
Emergency Backup: Having a compact power bank can be a lifesaver during unexpected power outages.
Conclusion
A compact power bank charger is an essential tool for anyone needing reliable power in a portable package. By considering factors like capacity, charging speed, durability, and portability, you can find the perfect compact power bank to keep your devices charged and ready wherever you go.
