I just wanna yap about my ocs since I haven't talked about their personalities 😞
Tw: everything you expect from kny ocs, not proof read, literally just yapping with no poetic flair whatsoever 😞💔
- Okay starting first with Shinya, it's difficult to describe my oc's personalities with words — he doesn't talk to anyone, not because he doesn't like people it's because he never learnt how to communicate properly. His family died when he was young, that is why he lacks an education and other skills — no one was there to teach him, that explains why he's "shy" around people. The reason why he hides his face is because of his breathing style, since it needs as much skin covered as possible (alike mist breathing) he doesn't really need to wear the "mask" in front of others but he still chooses to.
- Akabana is also not very talkative either, not because she's shy or anything but because she believes that she was guilty of her family's death. Her occupation as demon slayer also made her act more mature and responsible, even though deep down she's still a child. Even though she doesn't show emotions to other people, she cries a lot — she either doesn't experience emotions at all or experience them all at the same time. She never was able to grow up, she's childish, emotional, cowardly but she puts up the font of a role model. This is a stark contrast to Reika.
- Reika is a nerve-wreck, she's cowardly, weak, anxious but she doesn't hide that. She tries hard to follow her brother's footsteps despite her flaws.
But her "self confidence" plummeted down because of Kanashii's cruel words, words that stabbed her in the heart she tried so hard to "set ablaze" — she never forgot those words, they were deep ingrained in her mind. But those words fueled her resolve to become a better slayer, she had to face her fears, she had to come out and face the demons by herself, that's what Kyojuro would've wanted, right?
- Yukiho is mature, she doesn't take jokes and in no circumstance does she let lower-ranked slayers off the hook easily. During her training she couldn't handle the cowardice the slayers displayed, they wanted to run away because they were scared — it was shameful. Running away was what cowards did, running away was what she did. If only was she stronger, if only was she there, everyone would have been alive, but instead she ran away and left everyone behind, she was scared — but was it any excuse? Would the fact that she was young comfort her? Would it lessen the guilt? She doesn't want anyone to make the same mistake as her.
