He's not like Garmadon who's super confident to flirt openly with someone (and even with his confidence Garmadon doesn't really flirt with anyone that only Exists), he made who's the token of affections clear. I think he's a gift-giver and likes complimenting someone if they're not really close, if he's just looking for a brief relationship he doesn't have any indication of becoming attached to (he still gets attached either way and it's a problem for him), then gift-giving and subtle moves that he wants to initiate a fling is his way to go. If it's a crush or he actually develops more intimate feelings, specifically towards his inner circle, he's a lot less conservative with his touches and he's a very nervous wreck.

His type for bad boys were PURELY coincidental, at first. During one of his earlier days with Garmadon, who was a lot less insecure and worried over the whole venom thing, they dated TONS of people. Wu was curious over how bad boys are like and tried dating one. He decided that his type is PROBABLY bad boys (but his type is so assorted that even Garmadon doesn't know what HE prefers more than anything) and they usually end up ending WORSE than normal relationships. To the point they become villains. Either to spite Wu or impress him, it's up to you.

Wu having a one-night stand for an ego boost is just so sad. He barely has anyone in his life to love him aside from his dead dad and his brother doing bad boy shit. He only wants to find someone who actually wanted him. I have this analogy in my mind that this precariousness of having so much lovers is like gold. Wu is a dragon, correct? And most dragons in folklore and mythology, even in popular media, have the habit of hoarding. Wu has the unintentional habit of hoarding the people closest to him and this in turn causes his relationship to go sour. Also are you trying to say he has a praise kink because it works /hj

As for the whole Garmadon-Clouse-Wu incident; I like to think Clouse dated him to spite Garmadon but he ended up catching feelings for him in the end. He broke up with him because of those feelings because he thought he hated Wu.

Wu: ugh, I hate Clouse and Chen! They stole my brother from me to do not-so-innocent bad boy things!

*one week later when Garmadon is coming to visit*

Garmadon: oh, brother! This is my colleague, Clouse! The one I've told you about in letters?

I like to think Wu just does breaking up relationships in a funny gag way- Libber never told anyone what Cliff looked like, Wu saw Cliff in a bar and initiated a fling, but Cliff didn't tell Libber who he cheated on with her so Wu went away scot-free. He's so dumb <3333333 and only Garmadon had a slightest idea who Cliff slept with. Because Wu had accidentally taken his lovers before because of a misunderstanding where they thought Wu was the one trying to woo them. Never intentional, because Wu is bad at social callings.

Kai's villain arc fanseason: learning about his master and his parent's secret love affair during the Serpentine Wars. He wants to travel back in time to stop them from meeting, or just grill his parents over WHY they had a relationship with Wu in the first place. He's going through it, I love putting him through torturous moments. ALSO YEAH WU WOULD MAKE 'WU' PUNS. HE LEAVES WEIRD TRINKETS FROM HIS ONE NIGHT STAND LOVERS AND IT'S READ AS 'YOU JUST GOT WUOED'

@dapper-nahrwhale how dare you hide this in the tags because now I think somewhere out there there's a 'I dated Wu' support group. Why do you think the Overlord came back? Because he saw that many of the villains still alive (except Harumi ofc) were not moving on from their ex any time soon. That's why he decided to create the COCK, to combat against Wu!

You have convinced me that Wu's a manwhore. I seen people make Garmadon the manwhore, but it's more hilarious with Wu. The FSM would get a headache whenever Wu brings a guy home.

I mean... it's true, right? I just think Garmadon is socially awkward or bad at maintaining romantic relationships because of the venom and him only being perceived as charismatic. Wu on the other hand has a different problem, while I think he's a little socially incumbent (not as good as Garmadon when it comes to speaking about his feelings or, you know, INFORMATION) he's good with people. He's good with making people fall for him. That's how good he was.

However, for me personally, Garmadon may have few relationships far in-between, but the way it ends was peaceful, with neither side holding a grudge or some depression. Wu, in the meanwhile, his relationships would start REALLY good... and then it comes crashing and burning down when his love either suggest something he didn't want to commit in or he's starting to overthink the entirety of his relationship.

But yeah, FSM would get so mad and exasperated that his youngest son brings tons of his girlfriends/boyfriends/partners home. Thanks to how bad Wu can't hold down a relationship he brings a different person home every week or so.

I just like the personal gag that the ninjas, along with Wu, encounter one of his exes. It's funny to imagine.
