im literally broken for yao mingming.... but at least they showed yixing encouraging him and took the time to give him a bit of extra screentime, because he deserves it. it seems like mingming is so shy and unconfident and its really sad.... having gone through so much and still not succeeding is probably only adding to that insecurity. again, all the other trainees seem to validate his talent and stage presence but he doesnt seem to see it himself :c 

zhenning!!! jia you!!! man he did work really hard, and it shows! when jolin complimented shi zhan’s smile i was like same LOL and also the part when shi zhan said something along the lines of ‘i know zhenning. in front of others he wont say he’ll work hard, but when no one’s looking, he’ll go into a practice room and work alone’ really made me appreciate their friendship. and also shi zhan is a good friend for being aware of this side of zhenning’s and for pointing it out for everyone to notice. also zhan yu!!! showing off his vocals!!! yes!!! and tbh he pulled off the concept so well, compared to some of the smaller/younger kids

wait honestly this whole ‘only one team goes on stage’ rule aside, at least let the kids in the practice rooms wear their costumes... that they already have... and have performed in during rehearsal..... dont make them wear freaking sweatshirts...... like yao chi’s group just looked so weird using those neckties while wearing sweatshirts... they couldve danced it in their costumes and it wouldve been 10x more visually appealing.

i have a soft spot for wu chengze bc he reminds me of xiao gui but more pure LOL

i see that iqiyi realized the dream costumes were too ugly and changed them LOOL but also watching both dream teams was kinda sad for me bc i couldnt help but think of season 1.... and it reminded me of how much more personality the season 1 kids had, like dream team was filled with such strong kids and its kind of unfair bc it was one of their later stages so we knew them much better by then, compared to these season 2 children, but its just not the same without xingjie centering and justin doing the ‘people dance’ rap part and chengcheng at the head of the triangle, things like that.... ahhhh i miss season 1 and their silly antics like all of fcc’s memes and justin and zhenghao pinching xingjie’s cheeks

also poor xu longhan honestly.... accent struggles... also wu fei had some nice smiles, i appreciated that!

im putting the rest into a part 2 to prevent this from getting too long LOL
