#ponyboy curtis#the outsiders#the outsiders musical#the outsiders 1983#he's the miles morales it's a choice thing from into the spiderverse and you know it#soda hates wearing shoes pony hates tying his shoes darry can't stand either of them#pony hates tying them bc soda taught him how to tie them with bunny ear loops and he's insecure about it so he refuses to tie them in#front of people because dally made fun of him for it once#and also because half his sneakers are hand-me-downs from soda where soda tied them so badly that there's a million knots in the laces#and nobody could get them out (mama curtis tried for ages and gave up) so either the laces are cut short to solve the problem#or they don't tie right anymore cause they're so knotted and frayed#so pony just leaves them be#and probably trips over the laces six times a day
