#hmm. I've started actually paying attention to my moods for the first time in ever#anyway I was startled out of almost being asleep last night by the realization that my high mood has gone and it's low mood time#I'm not about to call either of these mania or depression because that feels so dramatic#it's just... I was up for a month and now I'm down and that's just how it is#idk. I don't like strong declarative language. it feels too dramatic. deadname. suicide. self harm. transgender. those are all statements#plus they have so much cultural baggage behind them. labels feel like they pin you into half of a meaning you don't fit#just for the sake of the half that you do match up with#and I thought it would feel good / to understand why I was different / but my title just talks over me / I never even asked to be this way#that's a lyric from Rainbow by Dodie and I thought it was relevant so here you go#tag talk
