I know I don't have the energy for it all the time but I love when I cook for myself. 1) it's sexy, 2) I'm not as bad of a cook as I always say I am, and 3) I always make a lot of food, so either I have food for several days or, if I'm in a feeding mood, I can eat a lot at once

#i went to the store today with 3 recipes in mind for this week #today I made a chicken apple salad thing bc I bought too much celery last time I got groceries and the recipe was easy and used celery #and goddamn #first off I made like double what the revipe called for when the recipe serves 4-5 people #second I added a lot more mayo than the recipe called for so it was d e n s e #and third it was actually pretty damn good #i had a lot of it #and then I had strawberries dipped in chocolate sauce and ice cream for dessert #and juice with the meal bc why tf not #and I am satisfied #i have not been this satisfied in a while #like not even takeout has been able to satisfy me like this #plus there's tons left over so I've got food for tomorrow and part of next week #plus ingredients for the two other recipes I planned for #anyway
