i've been blocking every toxic/manipulative asshole i've seen reblogged onto my dash since a while back and it's really starting to clean up my feed.

For the longest time, blocking didn't have effect on which reblogs you saw, but I think they updated it some time ago? Either that or I'm imagining it helps. Either way it can't hurt

#just now i saw a post with a twitter screenshot of someone dunking on someone else because their holiday was ruined by a BBQ software update #and then some toxic person going WHAT ABOUT INSULIN PUMPS YOURE ALL BAD FOR NOT TALKING ABOUT INSULIN PUMP SOFTWARE UPDATES #yep blocked #fuckity bye #see you never #it's toxic and manipulative as fuck whataboutism #I don't disagree it's awful that some people are forced into software updates that invade privacy - which was part of their point.#but the original post literally doesn't disagree. it's about being against always online appliances #plus it's a fucking joke and they're dunking on people who bought always online barbecues because its some of the dumbest shit that exists #and then this tumblr user is like WELL YOURE ALL BAD AND EVIL WHAT ABOUT MEEEE THIS IS ABOUT MEEEEEEE. YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD #and then acting like that's an okay way to communicate with people if you're a minority or disabled. It's not. You're being a dick #this kind of manipulative angry twist has always been popular on here but they're a one way ticket to blocked island for me now #and i highly recommend it!
