I always see ppl saying yknow "it's ok if you take a break from creating! its good for you actually!" but like I feel like I haven't had the energy/motivation to make art (outside of school assignments) for like 6 years lmao like. I think I've maybe possibly gone well past the threshold for this to count as a "break"

#highkey terrified that majoring in art made me hate it and now I'll never want to do this thing I used to love ever again! 🤪#it's like on the few occasions I might actually feel like drawing I don't have any fucking ideas bc I'm an uncreative hack #well idk I have a few ideas but I can't do them because I suck from being so out of practice so it's a really discouraging feedback loop #I'd love to take commissions bc I could really use the money but no one will commission me bc I have zero social media presence #and I can't build social media presence bc I'm so slow and unmotivated and the algo wants posts every fucking day #plus I don't draw fanart so nobody gives a shit anyway. lol #combine this with the fact that even tho I KNOW the reason I'm not getting comms is bc I have negative followers #my brain simply MUST assume it's actually because I fucking suck and nobody likes my work :)#IDK MAN! everybody says not to worry about the fucking numbers but it's always folks who already have enough not to worry abt getting work!
