With the summer heat rolling in I really wanted to take a moment and highlight a program I am a big fan of, A.N.E.

"Adopt-A-Native-Elder (A.N.E.) serves to help reduce extreme poverty and hardship facing traditional Elders living on the Navajo Reservation. A.N.E. is a trusted humanitarian organization focused on delivering food, medical supplies, firewood and other forms of Elder support. Respecting the tradition and dignity of Navajo Elders, we create relationships and honor and serve the Elders. The Program is organized in the Native American Spirit of the Giveaway Circle. The Giveaway Circle has a tradition of giving the best that we have. That may be a gift of time, talents or skills, or actual gifts of food and donations. When asked what the boxes of food meant to her, Ruth Benally explained that they were like "miracles from the sky." The miracle is the letters and gifts that arrive from people that they don't know and may never meet. For over 30 years, Adopt-A-Native-Elder has used an integrated approach to go beyond charity to assist indigent Elders on the Navajo Reservation in Utah and Arizona."

A.N.E also puts on an annual rug show & sale, you can read about last years here. Apart from their annual events they also host an online shop where you can buy jewelry, woven baskets, and elder made rugs. All proceeds go towards providing support for our elders be it food, medical assistance, firewood, weaving supplies and so much more.

The second sketch is of an even smaller...pig person? The image is small and the figure is facing away so it's hard to tell. I think they're naked. Third sketch is of a tall and fat pale woman with big ears and dirty blonde hair in a messy ponytail, posing with her hands on her hips. She's wearing a thin green camo tube top over modestly proportional breasts, with slight fat rolls underneath and a large, flabby gut slightly spilling over a lopsided red plaid wrap-around short skirt or kilt. Her thick arms have unidentifiable tattoos, and her feet have short strappy sandals on. Next to her is an even larger figure, the one with no top on, showing modest breast growth partially covered by thick brown chest hair, as well as their naked arms also covered by hair. At the top of the page are the body parts, first of which are thick, brown-colored feet with pale soles. The second is the head of a dark gray-skinned bat- or pig-like person, perhaps an Orc. She has long black hair with large ears poking out, and is facing the left. The second is another, similar animal-like person, this time with a very short crop of greenish-black hair, and is looking partially towards the right. The last drawing is the head of a ruddy-faced person with a large lantern jaw and short brown hair.

Third page: it's all drawings of the pale elf-girl from the first page, wearing a white peasant blouse and blue tight pants. She's in various poses which when put together on the page like that makes it look like she's dancing happily.

Fourth page: five short and squat (Dwarven?) women, four of whom appear to be the same person with shoulder length messy brown hair. In her first sketch, she's wearing a green blouse and beige shorts, and is looking off to the side with a look of disinterest. Next to her is another (potentially Dwarven) woman with longer, light brown hair in two braided pigtails and bangs that cover her eyes. She is wearing a lighter green blouse-like crop top and high-waisted khakis. Both women are wearing simple sandals. At the bottom of the page are three sketches of the first woman, all in different outfits and poses. In one, she's wearing thick, fur-lined orange armor over a basic gray tunic, brown fur-lined pants, and greenish brown boots and brown gloves. She is posed with her finger rubbing along her cold-pinkened nose with a grimace on her face. The next drawing is of her in a yellow tunic with a short, fur-lined red cape and a rust-colored knee-length skirt and white slippers. She's looking forward with a neutral expression. Finally is a sketch of her looking slightly to the left in a simple long, beige nightgown, looking a little pouty.

Fifth and final page: first is of a fat, slightly tan elf with a short red pixie cut and large rounded ears. She is posing on the floor, propped up by one arm with her other hand on her knees, and is wearing a front-laced drab crop top and matching panties, with her slightly flabby stomach exposed. She's looking to the side in annoyance. Second is a black and white sketch of a long haired chubby woman with realistically large breasts. She's sitting down and wearing a halter top and underwear. She has a neutral expression. Third is a color drawing of someone who looks very similar to the first woman on the page, only with dark brown hair and slightly more tanned skin. She is wearing the same color underthings, only now the bra-like top is slightly longer and has straps. She is standing up at an angle with her hand behind her waist as if stretching. She's looking up with a possibly concerned look on her face.

The remaining sketches on the last page are all in black and white. Next is a simplified short and thickly curvy woman with long pale hair and wearing a basic bra and panties. She's waving at the viewer with an excited look on her face. Next is of a more detailed woman who is thick but muscley, with short black side-swept hair and black simple underthings, exposing a well-defined abdomen. She looks somewhere between bored and annoyed as she looks out at you with one hand on her waist. In the middle is a of a short, wide woman with long pale hair wearing a white tube top over her largish yet proportional breasts, and white boy-cut panties. Her eyes are closed and her expression is a bit unreadable. Next is a taller woman, not really fat but more wide than how one often sees women drawn. She has shoulder-length pale hair with a few strands sticking out, wearing a white front-laced crop top and simple drawstring shorts.
