The Hunger Games: 4.5/5

Things that you like: i will say i'm absolutely biased and overall so positive about things, the casting was fantastic. it had the perfect amount of intense moments and soft scenes. katniss and peeta in the cave are Everything to me.

Things that you don't like: i remember the first time i watched it i wished madge was a character :( i still miss a lot of the characters they left out but i understand leaving them out for the films

Catching Fire: 5/5

Things that you like: pretty much everything! i'd say this is my favorite of the four. the casting of past victors, how they handle major plot points. perfection. no notes.

Things that you don't like: genuinely nothing? i'm sure if i watched it again right now and took notes i'd maybe think of something but i love that movie so so much

Mockingjay

Movie 1: 3.5/5

Things that you like: i really loved that they brought back effie instead of adding fulvia as a new character. i think it tied together the story really nicely and it was nice for katniss and haymitch to have her around. i was also okay with the fact that it wasn't so action packed like the other movies (i don't think it should have been). it needed to be slow and have the build up for part 2

Things that you don't like: i'm gonna be honest, i don't think i have any critiques for this movie either. in general, i really love all the films and i think they were really great adaptations of the books.

Movie 2: 3.5/5

Things that you like: i'm glad they made them into two films, even if it seemed like a money choice at the time. it let the story get told in its entirety and did it justice tbh. that might be unpopular because i know some people didn't like the split of them, but watching them both a few times over the past couple weeks, i'm really glad that they split them up.

Things that you don't like: finnick shouldn't have died idc they should have taken it out of the movie. rewritten the book too, suzanne collins was so wrong for that.
