Payback IOU Death (1990)
Not to be mistaken with Payback from 1991 starring Don Swayze that imdb seems to mix the pictures up on and on youtube someone says this Roger Rodd Payback is the Don Swayze one.. so anyways , don’t mix them up... even that they are both extremely cheesy mullet style action flicks.
Payback IOU Death is something on the level of extreme cheese and near homemade action movies that borders on the line of movies like Deadly Prey or maybe Samurai Cop not only for the mullets but the obnoxious characters and low budget violence.
Produced by Joseph Merhi who would later form the infamous PM entertainment action film company. This would be PM entertainments practice run of over testosterone unrealistic action movies. (cause it definitely was not a professional production). Payback is so bad it was not a PM entertainment film and in fact after being lost for awhile would be released by Troma.
It stars comedian and social bully Roger Rodd who is neither funny nor an action hero. Most images of the movie should the much bigger and even more mullet styled Deron Mcbee (who was American Gladiators Malibu) who plays one of the evil henchmen in the movie and just happens to look like an actor hero then the films real star. Roger Rodd plays mercenary for hire Joe Shepard and it was his real name that made me laugh so hard I had to watch the movie. That and I am always up for a cheese macho low budget action flick.. but wow this was a shockingly stinky one.
The basic plot of a senator is being kidnapped by terrorists and his daughter must convince a retired mercenary to come back to the job and save her father.
The mercenary is Joe Shepard played by Roger Rodd. It takes a long time to meet this character and it was because of his name on the cover that I even watched the movie. You already see several jacked guys with mullets before meeting the so called hero. In fact the opening scene shows a jacked 80s wrestler looking dude wearing the most uncomfortable looking pink mankini. Eventually we meet the hero and he is drunk at a bar. Everyone in the scene seems drunk. Either they are secretly good actors for only one scene or they in fact were all just drunk. For the rest of the film Roger Rodd (it's just funny to say his name) seems to continue being drunk so again I am going with the idea that maybe the cast was just paid in booze.
Everyone in the film is trying to talk like an action movie but no real dialogue was written for it. So it's the worse, cheesy mumbling you have ever heard. Roger Rodd seems to say the words “Fuck it” all the time that you would joke it was his catchphrase until much later in the movie you realise it is his catchphrase and the movie expected it to catch on.
After many scenes of Roger Rodd proving that he is neither an action hero nor a decent actor it finally turns into an action movie when the mercenary teams up with the senators bodyguard and they raid the bad guys base. So many explosions with soldier jump from mini trampolines before the explosions even go off. The only memorable scenes involve Deron Mcbee when he first shows up do to an assassination and leaves a audio tape on the dead body with a message for the victims family. Deron looks like an giant 80s hair metal singer so at first it looked like he was giving the dead body his latest demo tape. Later Deron would face the hero in a fairly hilarious torture scene.
Sure the movie is filled with military cover ups, rapey terrorists, secret double crossing super agents... but all so bumbling in the execution that I hope you can at least laugh at it. Cause as unbelievable as it will seem this movie was not meant to make you laugh.
My go to bad movie watching buddy Bob and I watched the movie on knowing nothing about it and got way too much of a laugh about it.
Bad acting from actors that seem like they would be so egotistical that they were sure they were the best actors you ever saw. Poorly filmed and poorly executed. However Bob and I would keep quoting lines from the movie, that out of context make no sense to even quote now. I am sure we will keep quoting the movie and referencing the scenes we totally misunderstood, so much so that people will want to see the movie just because of us. However let this be our official statement from both Bob and I... this movie stinks.. its bad. A small set of “bad movie” memorable scenes worth mocking and thats pretty much it (but wow are they impressively stinky scenes). Like in the beginning a blonde woman in a bikini gets into a helicopter and puts her clothes back on which made us question if the movie was maybe in reverse. So no this movie is not actually worth it until you are drinking , eating pizza and willing to bash this movie with your buds. It borders on Samurai cop but feels like it should know better.
Lots of people being shot the in forehead lots of cocaine era filmmaking and over acting and a boob here and there for good luck. Well shit , when I say that it doesn’t sound that bad....
Next we would put on Skyscraper.. no that the Rock movie but the hideous movie starring Anna Nicole Smith that is also being Die Hard with a helicopter pilot. I am not here to review Skyscraper cause that movie is infamous and you can just read the review in my book... you did buy my book right? If not you should :) I will say though that It has a much bigger professional budget than Payback did but after being on for only a few seconds we realised it was produced by the same people and had Deron Mcbee as the main bad guys henchmen again. Bob and I looked at each other and said.... OH NO HERE WE GO AGAIN!!! BAd movie life is rough sometimes...

What I Wish I Knew A Year Ago About Uwatch Tv
Earning movies from stories has some pros. This technique will save many time while in the pre-generation stage. In such cases, the director does not have to appoint a writer for any new Tale. Given that the story previously exists, he just have to do the script and screenplay.
A readymade Tale presents the film an additional popularity. If your film is produced from a success tale, then extremely By natural means men and women might be desirous to look at the movie Model of it. If we Examine the historical past, then we will discover out that the majority of of Those people kinds of films are uwatchmovie major box Office environment hits.
If the movie is predicated around the function of the renowned author, then it can simplicity the get the job done force within the director to some extent. A famous reserve is obviously excellent composing. Consequently, the director will never have to change loads of that.
youtube
Hollywood movies have originate from three diverse groups of literary works. These three are tales, novels, and performs. To start with we are going to look at the movies created from well-known tales. Kafka was a author whose stories influenced Hollywood a good deal. Even so, it is vitally rough to help make a film Edition of his stories, but nevertheless individuals have tried out and occasionally, they've performed an excellent occupation. For instance, The Demo directed by Orson Welles was a masterpiece. It absolutely was introduced in 1963.
Several movies have been constructed from the tales of O Henry, the renowned American story writer. Present of the Magi directed by Scott Mansfield and The final Leaf directed by David Anspaugh were instant hits. Roald Dahl was an extremely popular British writer who wrote quite a few brief stories and novels. He also scripted some films. Lamb towards the Slaughter directed by Nicole Barnette was determined by an incredibly famous story of Dahl.
Some very famous novels are already given film versions. For illustration, The Accidental Tourist was determined by the composing of Anne Tyler. The movie was directed by Lawrence Kasdan and was introduced within the calendar year 1988. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was the film version from the famed Mark Twain novel, filmed by Peter H. Hunt.
Some popular performs have also been transformed into movies. One example is, Orson Welles filmed Macbeth, the well-known Engage in of William Shakespeare, within the calendar year 1950. Franco Zeffirelli filmed Romeo and Juliet in the yr 1968.
The fictional character Sherlock Holmes, getting to start with appeared in publication in 1887, is really a London-based detective designed by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Conveniently essentially the most identified fictional detective, Holmes is known for his smart, analytical, and deductive abilities. Helping Holmes together with his investigations is his excellent Close friend Dr. John H. Watson.
The character of Sherlock Holmes was the central determine in a lot of the most pleasurable detective films of the 1930s as well as the 1940s. My beloved actor playing the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/?search=uwatchfree function of Holmes was Basil Rathbone, with Nigel Bruce in the function of Dr. Watson. The two starred with each other within a number of films that ran from 1939-1946. On the other hand, this famed detective has been around to the Film display For the reason that 1916 silent movie Sherlock Holmes, starring actor William Gillette. Performing legend John Barrymore also played the title role inside the nine reel silent movie of the exact same name generated in 1922.
In 1929, the initial from the Film sequence to be filmed with seem was titled The Return of Sherlock Holmes. The filmed featured actor Clive Brook as the detective and Even though this movie was not highly regarded it did offer the origin of Holmes trademark phrase "Elementary my dear Watson". On the other hand, the phrase by itself was under no circumstances used in the prepared stories of Arthur Conan Doyle.
Holmes arch nemesis will be the character of Professor James Moriarty, who can only be referred to as a criminal mastermind and super villain, was introduced in Conan Doyle's tale The Final Problem. It was the initial intention of this story to kill off the famed detective. Conan Doyle felt that his Sherlock Holmes tales had been a distraction to his producing of additional worthwhile literary efforts. Holmes was to meet his conclude throughout a combat with Professor Moriarty more than the Reichenbach Falls in Switzerland. Because it turned out, Holmes good legion of followers would not listen to of his demise and demanded extra.
In full, Conan Doyle penned four novels and fifty-six limited tales that featured the grasp sleuth. The movie industry would generally combine quite a few with the quick stories when making the Sherlock Holmes number of films. Just one, The Hound of the Baskervilles, is usually mentioned to carefully Keep to the authors initial story. The movie was an unpredicted hit for Twentieth Century Fox and so they promptly adopted With all the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. The rest as they say is "elementary".

For mystery and criminal offense movie admirers, the Sherlock Holmes detective motion pictures give a whole lot Mind foods. The tight storylines, coupled with Holmes' intensive utilization of logical wondering and deductive reasoning, make the character unforgettable and the movies a leading prospect for the best Hollywood detective motion pictures of all-time.

Hyper’s Quest 2: High voltage – New impressions
So, It’s time I look at Hyper’s Quest 2: This will be sorta review. I will give the game a full review when it is complete next year or when it is done. Let’s get started.
Review copy – 5/31/2019
Hyper’s Quest 2. I will add my thoughts here and opinions on the game and levels, and I will point out the bugs that I find.. And may add a suggestion here or there. Maybe but we will see.
There are new levels and a updated boss. :3
Ecstatic City Zone

It’s the same zone but has gotten a update, minor as it may be. It is a update that is welcomed. The state looks nice, and It’s still fun to play. The end of the stage got a neat addon to it. It’s a little bit long but not by much. But it’s still a fun state to blaze through with that cool music.
Skadoosh Zone

It has been a while since I seen this stage in a new demo. But the stage has a new theme, if I am right about this. I believe it’s a remix of evil foundry? A song that Cobanermani456 used in his videos. I could be wrong.
Again the stage is the same at the start, but going further in, you will see new areas or old set pieces that got a updated layout. The end of the stage had a new area added to it. The end of the stage or close to the end is this pipe that will cause you to spin forward a bit.
Windy Forest Zone

Windy Forest zone. It looks and feels the same back in the last build where you could play as Knuckles. If there is something new here, I don’t see it.

Club Nicole Zone

This stage is pretty fun The layout for the stage is ok. The music is nice, and it is fun to blast through the stage at high speed. That said, the stage is not very friendly for Sonic. If you play as Hyper, Tails or Knuckles. The stage is friendly to the characters that can fly or climb or get out of pits.
At the start: https://i.imgur.com/veW1UVo.gifv If this is going to be a pit, it should be one. A spring there if you are playing as Sonic or Hyper
Sonic is the only one who can’t get out of here: https://i.imgur.com/ZqXnAcU.jpg A spring here in case a player falls in here as Sonic.
If sonic pops the balloon, he can’t get out due to the ceiling being too low. Could apply to Hyper as well: https://i.imgur.com/FhELnQ0.jpg A spring would help out.
Sunrise Island Zone

This stage has went through a lot of changes. The new things here to note is. 1. There are torches. 2. There is water and a bubble shield other then that.. There are a few new changes here and there. One layout change was made to use the new move (Which I don’t have yet). But the stage is still the same as before. Not much to say here. :V It’s not a bad thing.
Sunrise Island Boss
The boss is the same. But the boss now has Iframes and a second attack. You can no longer re-trigger the boss death animation by hitting it. The boss can still harm you in it’s death state if you walk into him. Not much but well done. :3
Plasma Temple Zone

This zone. First time playing it. It’s uhh. Neat. It’s a mix of Lost Labyrinth Act 2 from Sonic 4 ( minecart sections) It’s a fun act that has 3 paths for you to go and explore the zone. After a bit, the 3 paths will lead to the same goal. It’s a fine stage
Arcade zone
There are 4 games now. You can no longer farm red rings in this zone, since there are none.
Left to right
Pinball mini game
This mini game is the same but here is where you can farm lives, so long as you have the red rings to play the minigame.
Wall jump mini game
This game got a update that made it harder to test your skills. This wall jump mini game will test to see if you are a walljump pro and see if you can walljump away from hazards.
Balloon mini game
This minigame is just to see how fast can you pop the balloons. It’s very easy.
Ragequit Bay
This is a hard minigame? I will be real, it was not that hard. You can just grab the ring and water shield and spin to the end by taking damage and running. Not much to say here.
Shopping zone
Here, you can buy items or skills for your heroes, granted, you have enough points from the start. You will have to do some farming to unlock the skills
Bugs
Take the minecart anywhere
Not sure if this is a feature or not. You can take the minecart off the tracks and go anywhere. Here is a gif.
Gif: https://i.imgur.com/NUcdx35.gif
The despawning block / falling through floor block
Here is a gif the block despawning by falling through the floors offscreen in Plasma Temple Zone
Gif: https://i.imgur.com/ydbgaHv.gifv
Not a bug but want to share: https://i.imgur.com/MMHmZ3W.gifv
Graphic bugs
Hyper is not center of the water shield when facing left, and using a spacial action.
Gif: https://i.imgur.com/6DssxTI.gifv
Sunrise Island Zone sprite mask
If you die at the first checkpoint in Sunrise Island Zone, You can see the sprite mask for the curved slope. Something you are not allow to see.
Before: https://i.imgur.com/GHHGPlm.jpg
After: https://i.imgur.com/GxZZysC.jpg
Unaligned water
The water is not centered.
Gif: https://i.imgur.com/ID3FR2h.gifv
Game breaking bugs
1 Time bonus freeze
This can happen anywhere. If your time bonus is “250” the game will try to play out as normal. I can only guess the end counter is taking away and adding 100 to score. But since it is looking for a “100” but finds a “50” It is ignored, and the game is softlocked
Edit: Not sure if the other time bonus will do the same as well or not. But the 250 time bonus does softlock the game.
Pic: https://i.imgur.com/H5zLcMI.jpg
Overall thoughts
I had fun playing this. Levels are fine, if a bit short in length. The music is still great to listen. Just booting up the game brings up my favorite track. I feel the arcade minigames could offer a little more. Like, the balloon minigame, there is no prize, no points, nothing. But overall, I am happy to see this fan game still going strong and getting better.
Suggestions
Make the exit button in the pause menu take you back to the level select, rather then quitting the game. I mean, the Escape closes the game. I think we only need one close button.
Give the minigames more of a reason to play them. Besides playing pinball to gain some lives, the other minigames have no reason for anyone to come back and play them. Maybe add a prize. Earn X (1000 to 100000 but it’s random) points or x item to use in a stage.
Edit: I will wait for the dev to find a name he likes before linking to a dead end

Kevin Cage of @spotlightsaga reviews... Riverdale /S01\/E10\ Chapter 10: The Lost Weekend Airdate: April 13, 2017 @cwnetwork Ratings: 0.872 Million :: 0.32 18-49 Demo Share Score: 8.5/10 @riverdaleseries @archiecomics TVTime/FB/Twitter/IG/Tumblr/Path/Pin: @SpotlightSaga **********SPOILERS BELOW********** Four Months late isn't too bad, right? See, in Miami, it's never cute to be the first person at the party, and really the party never ends until someone actually says it does... And clearly the Riverdale Party is still very much in full swing. So consider this 10th Entry 'Riverdale Revisit'; the after party to end all after parties. Of course, we're going to be set up for S2 when it goes live. This is definitely not one of the tv shows that Spotlight Saga will be dropping in the coming, world famous, 'fall tv' season frenzy. But don't get it twisted, there are many on the chopping block... OUR chopping block. We're looking at what gets our blood pumping and our thoughts racing, giving us something more to talk about than "Last Night on ___insert uninspired show number #45 here___." 'Riverdale' has made a massive stir across social media and of course on The CW & their worldwide dominating partner, Netflix, as well. I love that due to streaming, the new large amounts of cash pouring in from its subsequent deals, and actually several generations full of 'cord cutters', there are no longer rules to watching and writing about television series and films... Get to them when you can, some will watch them live, some will stream them later, some will wait until they can binge them all at once like a Weekend Warrior with a pocket full of Ecstasy and a head full of hallucinogens. It's our world now, and CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, and more (or less) importantly 'Nielsen Holdings', no longer control what, when, where, why, and how much. Smell that? That's the sweet smell of change... And the remnants of murder and sticky maple syrup, obvi. Ive been extremely careful not to overpraise 'Riverdale' in the past. Similar series have only led to frustration or feelings of complete frustration. Its hard to know what to expect from a show like this in the near future... We all saw the demise of similar series like 'Pretty Little Liars' and other shows that run through the same type of vein... Kind of like many of the other ones attempted over at the now defunct ABC Family where PLL first started. Like The WB, UPN, and now The CW, ABC Family has also gone through a newly rebranding process that didn't do much to help the sinking ship they now call Freeform TV... A network that only 'The Fosters' and its cheesy sister show 'Shadowhunters' seem to be keeping afloat. We aren't being negative, we're being real... And when you're at a party, or in this case, 'After Party', you've got to be real. You just gotta... Even if no one ever wanted the party in the first place. If you don't know what I mean, let me spell it out for you. Ready? Set? Spell! Ah fuck it, we'll just spill the tea... 'Let's have a Kiki! Lock the doors tight!' I sometimes wonder if my obscure pop culture references I often sneak into these articles ever actually connect. They probably don't, but to that one person that got it, FUCK YEAH! It's the birthday of Jughead (Cole Sprouse)... And much like the very similar, fellow female counterpart, Sheila the She-Wolf, another introverted style character from 'Riverdale's sister show on Netflix, 'GLOW'... Jughead is not really into parties and/or making a big fuss about a birthday or bringing any unnecessary & unwanted attention to his person. Unfortunately for Betty (Lili Reinhart), Jughead isn't really big on camaraderie, most definitely not in the spirit equivalent to the 'Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling'! The reasons behind throwing these two characters' each their own impromptu birthday bashes on their respective tv shows are done for totally different reasons. With 'GLOW', it was slightly annoying at first (for Sheila, anyway), but eventually it turned from an apprehensive & anxiety filled event to a touching, sweet moment, where a closed off character had a major breakthrough that was captured in the perfect beam of light, allowing a significant development and enabling an insight into another character's backstory, bringing the whole cast together for the most part. In a great juxtaposition, on 'Riverdale', the psychology behind this one is actually much, much different... It's still got the 'trepidatious yet possible potential for a surprise moment of gratification' aspect down to a certain degree, but it doesn't go down the path of the balmy & charming. The reasoning behind Betty's sudden obsession to give Jughead the party that he never wanted, and the background as to why he's so against the idea in the first place certainly doesn't inspire camaraderie or any kind of 'feel good' moments, especially at the party itself. If anything, the intent is slightly bordering on the side of creepy. Riverdale?! Creepy?!? Yup! Keep up! It's only getting creepier. You see... We've been up on 'Riverdale' and then back down, and then back up and down again... And I think everyone here will openly admit that it's mostly due to a shaky CW track record, as well as similar networks just like it, though there has been a few inconsistencies outside of this oddball tone & beautiful color scheme we're always raving about. However, when the show fully embraces its complete and total anomalous, almost freakish eccentricities, we all just fall right back in love with the show again. It's episodes like 'Chapter 10: The Lost Weekend' that completely make us forget about past network follies and shows like PLL completely losing their way after gaining our trust and enthusiasm in its beginning stages. Reinhart is effortlessly serving up 'Bizarre, Bilateral, Betty Bananas' like a full-on, award ready, seasoned vet. Seriously, I don't want to blow too much smoke up the kid's ass, but I'm pretty sure her breakthrough performance here would even make the likes of decorated actress such as Nicole Kidman proud. Betty Cooper has a duality that Reinhart not only highlights with strong, hearty performances... But it's also the efforts of Director Dawn Williamson, a phenomenal Art Department (you guys KICK MAJOR ASS), Cinematographer Stephen Jackson (this guy was award-worthy in this episode), and Costume & Wardrobe (hell, everyone involved in the smallest, minute details) framed from shot to shot... The absurdity of how tight & perfectly situated her ponytail is, how hard she clenches her hands (leaving scratch marks on her palms), even the way she holds the cake & dawns the signature 'Jughead Crown', to whoever made the call of having those weirdo party goers in horse masks in the background - Good call, guys! That was freaking CRAZY! It's all those little things that make the picture such a pleasure to watch... Turning what seems like a normal teen drama at first glance, to a finely tuned, surprisingly compelling theatrical spectacle. The crazy is in full on abundance, though... It's not just Betty. Suddenly after a string of a few disappointing episodes, I come back after a break and either see things in a totally different light, or it could be that this was just slowly building right under our noses the whole time, or *the most plausible of all three options* is that the ironically lowest rated episode of the series, according to the great analysts over at Nielsen, is actually the most technically sound, character driven, insanely atmospheric entry of the entire 1st Season. Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) finally lets go of some deep resentments she's been bottling up and goes after Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch). This is a task that I wouldn't suggest to any person of sound or capable mind to attempt in any way, shape, fashion, or form. The act is crazy in and of itself, and pissing off the 'Ravishing Redhead' that literally wears the letters 'HBIC' on the back of her cheerleading uniform, that's 'Head Bitch in Charge' for anyone too young or too old to remember Tiffany Pollard of VH1's 'I Love New York', is obviously going to lead to a backlash that Veronica won't likely forget. Sure she might get her big 'W' now, but we must remind you... There's no 'W' in 'HBIC'. Meanwhile, Cole Sprouse & Skeet Ulrich, who plays Serpent Gangster FP Jones & Jughead's father on the show, are literally close to actually convincing me that they are really father and son in real life. The little ticks and nuances that they share are out of this fn' world insane. Either these two have spent a week in a trailer together mirroring their every move or we seriously need to ring in Maury Povich for a DNA Test! Oh, and apparently there's some guy on the show named Archie Andrews (KJ Apa)... The only drawback is that they've failed to make the main protagonist (is he tho?) even remotely interesting. He's good looking, but he's not a convincing redhead, and I'm still not hooked into his arc. Hey, that's ok... Enter Mary Andrews (Molly Ringwald - ChaChing!), Archie's long lost mother. So nice of you to finally drop in, Molly! Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) is ready to finalize the divorce, but we're just biting on all the possibly juicy dramatic scenarios! Who is Archie again? Back at the party, that burgeoning rivalry between Veronica and Cheryl hits its boiling point when Veronica gets a bit too carried away and accuses Cheryl and her deceased brother Jason (Trevor Stines) of having an incestious affair. Ah, gotta love seedy underbelly of the United States! The more money, the crazier the family!!! Oh but there's more! Good ol' All-American Chuck (Jordan Calloway), who actually WAS almost boiled alive, attempts to out Betty on her 'Dr. Jeckyl/Ms. Hyde' issue that surfaced when a hot tub prank got a bit too out of hand earlier in the season. To our surprise, and viewer delight, Jughead and his Dad actually had a moment, which was completely unexpected, yet felt completely real. Like I said before, Ulrich & Sprouse have stellar chemistry, and the writers seem to know this and obviously derive great pleasure in giving us this moment where the two aren't at total odds and Jughead not only carefully considers, but actually takes his biological father's advice... Providing solid proof that the series isn't trying to meander or stretch out any unnecessary storylines at all. No disrespect to fans of other series broadcast on The CW, but clearly this isn't 'The Flash'. These storylines seem to be heading into important territory at a reasonable pace, and not just hanging around to fulfill an episode number requested by an executive to make sure ad-space quotas are filled... Although I have considered that this could be an issue that the show could run into in its expanded 22-Episode Run that it's been greenlit for S2. There's plenty of juicy drama to go around, but when we see that drama making moves instead of being drawn out, then you know you've got a potentially good show on your hands. For now, 'Riverdale' is back on a solid trajectory, delivering what appears to be a set-up episode for the impending S1 finale... A set-up episode that was easily the most consistent entry to date from start to finish. The impression that an episode as good as this exists to move its characters like chess pieces, seemingly just to put everyone in place for the final three episodes is an exciting notion for the last 3 hours of S1 of 'Riverdale' to come!
