wuthering waves and zenless zone zero are good games, but i don't think they're completely worthy of being 'mobile game of the year' in their current state.
#i can elaborate if asked#don't get me wrong they've come a long way in a short amount of time#but i think they still have certain quality issues that resulted in them being passed over#both games are getting basically a soft relaunch within their next patches anyway so#probably for the better#i've also never played balatro so i'm using hsr's win last year as my metric for judgement here#since wuwa zzz and hsr are all 'sci-fi type gacha games'#player's choice is a totally different beast and i'm not touching that#zenless zone zero#wuthering waves#game awards 2024
