Transiting Venus enters Virgo
Monday, August 5 - Thursday, August 29, 2024
Full disclosure: this may not be a fun transit. There are plenty of challenges. Also, Venus is said to be in her “fall” in Virgo, occupying the sign opposite where she is exalted (Pisces). Astrologers March and McEvers likened this to “you’re staying in a strange house, and you don’t know the rules.”
My belief is that the planets all can stand to learn something when they’re in signs they don’t like - and in Virgo, Venus is working on her skills. Throughout her areas:
Art - working on technique is favored. That would be scales for a musician, for example. We could also work on developing healthy responses to criticism.
Beauty - looking like you’re in good health is usually sufficient - think Ingrid Bergman. Not a lot of makeup or “styling.” We could explore more of a thrifty approach to our clothes (like learning to sew a button back on, for example).
Love - keep aiming for being truly helpful. Sometimes we think we’re helping by pointing out everything wrong with someone, or by nagging. We evaluate relationships based on how willing we are to work on them.
Money - penny wise and pound foolish. The only placement that will blow its entire paycheck on vitamins.
If we’ve made any questionable choices over the past weeks (raises hand), we may just be in for a comeuppance while Venus is in Virgo. Where we’re lacking, will be made clear. Are we going to be humble about it and work harder, or are we going to skulk off in bitterness?
Monday, August 5 - Venus/Virgo inconjunct Pluto Rx/Aquarius, 0°33’. Adjustments. Cold indifference (regardless of its source, ourselves or others) makes us realize we need to recalibrate.
Wednesday, August 7 - Venus/Virgo conjunct Mercury Rx/Virgo, 3°43’. We may actually feel this one late on August 5, when the Virgo Moon will conjunct both Venus and Mercury. It’s charming and helpful and humble, but it’s also about a lightweight as astrology gets.
Sunday, August 11 - Monday, August 12:
Venus/Virgo trine Ceres Rx/Capricorn, 8°07’
Venus/Virgo (8°25’) sesquiquad Chiron Rx/Aries (23°25’)
Venus/Virgo inconjunct North Node/Aries, semi-sextile South Node/Libra, 8°59’
Traditional values. We are looking for practical, womanly solutions. Have a strategy for when this irritates people, and don’t be too perfectionist to ignore helping hands. Be patient.
Tuesday, August 13 - Venus/Virgo (10°26’) sesquiquad Eris Rx/Aries (25°26’). Angry women! Eris wants to throw Molotov cocktails but Venus wants to nitpick. Some of us will nag people so hard it will feel like a Molotov cocktail. Adjust your approach to addressing problems.
Saturday, August 17 - Monday, August 19
Venus/Virgo (15°17’) sesquiquad Pluto Rx/Aquarius (0°17’)
Venus/Virgo square Jupiter/Gemini, 17°21’
Venus/Virgo opposite Saturn Rx/Pisces, 17°29’
This is the biggest event of Venus/Virgo - having the honor (?) to help trigger the first (of three) of the Jupiter-Saturn squares. Mars will have set this off a few days earlier, making us feel like we want to get going on something right now but feeling held back and hampered - and we now find ourselves in a new situation (mutable signs) - remembering the “assist” from Pluto, which happens to be on the same degree as the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction of December 20, 2020. Something is going to take more hard work than we anticipated, and it’s going to take longer. It’s important to blend optimism with being realistic - don’t feel you have to take on all the job yourself, but accept help - and don’t let “perfect” be the enemy of “good.” Build up relationships by looking for common ground.
Thursday, August 22 - Friday, August 23:
Venus/Virgo square Mars/Gemini, 22°08’
Venus/Virgo semi-sextile Mercury Rx/Leo, 22°59’
Venus/Virgo inconjunct Chiron Rx/Aries, 23°11’
Venus square Mars can be sexy, but in mutable signs it feels more jittery and anxious. We could be trying too hard; we could be mistaken in how we interpret others. Watch your mouth.
Sunday, August 25 - Venus/Virgo inconjunct Eris Rx/Aries, 25°23’. Angry women time again. We want to be more effective about how we address our grievances, so we’ll need to adjust a bit.
Monday, August 26 - Tuesday, August 27:
Venus/Virgo sextile Pallas/Scorpio, 26°32’
Venus/Virgo trine Uranus/Taurus, 27°14’
Finally, some flowing energy. This will enable us to come up with very clever and unique solutions and possibilities. We may do a little mediating while we’re at it.
Wednesday, August 28 - Venus/Virgo opposite Neptune Rx/Pisces, 29°08’. Stones fan that I am, I’m pretty sure that as long as Neptune makes the final aspect, regardless of the circumstances, we’ll all be singing along with Mick, “You can’t always get what you want - but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need.” If we haven’t let “perfect” be the enemy of “good,” some precious illumination is in store.

elisabet sobeck + natal chart
Elisabet Sobeck is another character in the Horizon games with an actual date of birth: March 11th, 2020. I'm going to avoid comparisons to Aloy, but I will say this: they're working towards the same goal, but both women's journeys will ultimately differ from each other. Elisbet's chart is undoubtedly the chart of a very lonely but very determined person.
Even though Elisabet has a 10th house stellium like Aloy does, hers is much more grim and heavy, with Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter, and Mars all conjunct each other. Speaking of this stellium, in real life, her birth date wasn't too long ago. This is when the pandemic started, and many astrologers believe this stellium in Capricorn was what kicked it off, as there have been similar stelliums associated with past pandemics (such as the 1918 flu). So, Elisabet had to deal with a different kind of "pandemic"...the Faro plague.
Even before the Faro plague became her career-defining moment, her career was not without conflict. Working at Faro Automated Solutions under Ted Faro, a man she often butted heads with, was certainly harrowing enough. Their constant disagreements led to Elisbet leaving FAS and starting her own company, Miriam Technologies. Of course, Ted didn't take kindly to this and apparently filed many lawsuits against her.
Many characters have commented on how hard it was to know Elisabet on a personal level. I believe her Sun/Neptune conjunction in Pisces in the 12th house is the main contributer to this. The 12th house is a very elusive house, and with Neptune there, it's no wonder not many people felt they didn't know her too well. Adding to this is her Moon in Libra in the 7th house squaring her 10th house stellium. Elisabet almost always put her work (10th house) first, while relationships (7th house) were always put on the back burner.
Of course, this is not to say she didn't care about people: quite the opposite. With Mercury in Aquarius in the 11th house (the house of communities and groups of people), she was very interested in using techonology to reverse the environmental damage of her time. This is also quite evident with her Uranus/Venus conjunction in Taurus, an earth sign that is often associated with nature and the environment, and Uranus signifying technology and innovation.
And finally, there is another side to her Sun/Neptune conjunction in the 12th house. Pisces traditonally rules the 12th house, and is often associated with selflessness and self-sacrifice. While it doesn't always have to signify sacrificing one's own life for other people, this is what Elisabet ended up having to do.

March 2024 Important Dates
Tumblr media
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's March Forecast.
February recap: The conjunction between Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto in Aquarius conjunction has aligned with new tech developments. The Venus-Pluto conjunction heralded OpenAI's new text-to-video generator and the ensuing discussion on its potential political, labor, and artistic effects. Mercury was conjunct Mars and Venus trine Jupiter (with Virgo Moon completing a grand trine & involving the Saturn-Pisces opposition) the day Neuralink tried its first human subject. How will different parts of society react to further developments in cybernetics and body augmentation? Past occurrences of astrological alignments can help us make predictions. Advances in robotics during a major transit in the humanistic sign of Aquarius will challenge us to redefine what it means to be human. On February 10th, around the Mars-Pluto conjunction, a group of people set a self-driving delivery car on fire in San Francisco. These robo-taxis are likely going to increase when Jupiter enters Gemini, and indeed a few companies are poised to launch in other cities.
In other Pluto in Aquarius news, last episode Chris noted there's work in using X-rays to ancient scrolls from Herculaneum and Pompeii that can't be opened without incurring damage. On February 5th, the day of the Mercury-Pluto conjunction, the first images of one of these scrolls have been made available. This fits with Mercury-Pluto themes of lost or buried information coming to light. On the same day King Charles of England's cancer diagnosis was announced--an announcement of mortality. We also had the first privately-funded lunar vehicle landing. Pluto makes large thing imperceptibly small and makes microscopic things enormous.
In Saturn in Pisces news, in 2020 Chris predicted success for Miley Cyrus's Saturn return and indeed she won the Grammy. This also marks part 2 of the Dune movie--the book was written under Saturn in Pisces as well. Other influential sci-fi & fantasy stories were written under Saturn in Pisces like Lord of the Rings, and our hosts predict that a new classic will be born during this transit. In other Mars-Pluto news, we have ambiguous stories about nuclear weapons and Israel's announcement of storming Rafah. Unfortunately the upcoming eclipses (connected to 6 months ago) do not bode well for cessation of warfare. On February 15th, farmers in India have begun striking again, and doctors in South Korea walked out on the job to protest working conditions--Mars in Aquarius squaring Jupiter-Uranus in Taurus reactivates these ongoing labor disputes.
Our hosts recorded the forecast before the perfect Mercury-Saturn-Sun conjunction in Pisces hit on February 28th (the day I'm typing this!), which is one of the major influences over the first half of March. The other big influence is Mars-Venus in Aquarius. In the mutable, indeterminate sign of Pisces, Saturn doesn't bring us as much order as he did in the previous two signs of his domicile.
March 2nd/3rd - Venus square Uranus Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus--either a change is needed to bring us peace and pleasure, or something is disrupting our pleasure. Austin says either way, this placement prompts us for significant changes. Venus's is overcoming Uranus (earlier in the zodiac, has the upper hand), so we can make good use of this placement if we shake things up a little bit in relationships.
March 9th/10th - Mars square Uranus, Mercury enters Aries Mercury has entered the sign where he'll retrograde, stretching what would normally be a transit of a few weeks into 2 months. Mercury in Mars's sign amplifies the wishes of the red planet, who's doing some pretty interesting stuff. In a firey Mars-ruled sign, Mercury wants something practical to do. This clarity and decisiveness will be welcome after all the indecision of Pisces. However, the North Node is in Aries, with the power to obscure things even when it's not blocking the Sun's light. There will be an eclipse here in April, so the pathfinding is tricky. We'll definitely be doubling back as Mercury prepares to retrograde. Sometimes you need to dive into things while you have the vision, yet before you have the rationale. Austin likens it to clearing your way through thick jungle terrain to determine whether a route is viable--it's only by going forward that you find out that you're on the wrong path, and thus, where the right one is. Mercury retrogrades teach us to learn from our mistakes--third time's the charm!
Mars follows Venus's path, and along with Mercury, weighs heavily on the upcoming lunation. Mars-Uranus connotes surprise attacks, sudden severing, unexpected explosions. Internally this can make us feel restless and impulsive. Keywords: recklessness and action without planning. Think of a cigarette being dropped near an oil drum. Technology disruptions are also likely.
March 10th - Pisces New Moon
Tumblr media
Saturn and Neptune are close by to this lunation, and though Mars-Uranus is weighing in, Mars in particular is ultimately reporting to Saturn's broader plan. As Neptune and Saturn approach their conjunction, we'll seek escapism and the imaginal as a respite for our fatigue. We need to step out from being immersed in these waters. Mercury conjoined Neptune on the 8th before he left Pisces, leaving the imprint of confused or empathic communications in the air as the lunar cycle resets for the month.
March 11th/12th - Venus enters Pisces From here she builds up to a conjunction with Saturn at 11° on the 21st. As the sign of her exaltation, she's better able to bring harmony and reconciliation in our relationships, though Saturn brings a cool distance to our relationships. She'll conjoin Neptune in this sign next month. We may also see some kind of artwork that resonates with people on a deep emotional level.
March 17th - Sun conjoins Neptune, Electional chart
Tumblr media
At around 1PM local time, this chart has Cancer rising with a dignified Moon in Cancer, applying to a trine with Venus at 7Pisces and sextile with Jupiter in Taurus in the 11th house. This chart occurs before things go crazy later in the month and is the best time to start something new. It's especially good for friends, groups and alliances and doing new things outside of the box.
March 18th - Mercury enters shadow (not pictured) Mercury hits 15Aries, the point he'll retrograde back to, at the same time as he conjoins the North Node. This is a precursor of things that will occur in April.
March 19th/20th - Sun enters Aries This puts the Sun in the same time as the Node that will eclipse it.
March 21st - Venus conjoins Saturn Saturn and Venus bring a sort of melancholy beauty to things. Though we may see them at odds for signifying discipline and love respectively, Saturn does exalt in Venus's sign of Libra. In the sign of Pisces empathy is especially relevant--think understanding each other's feelings because we've suffered the same things. Nostalgia is another important keyword.
March 22nd - Mars enters Pisces This puts him on track to contact to Saturn (exact cojunction c. April 10th)--a dangerous combination. Along with the Sun in Aries and Mercury slowing, this represents the event horizon of major developments for the rest of the month and early April. This will be the first Mars-Saturn conjunction in Pisces; note the Aquarius conjunctions in 2020 and later years coincided with the COVID lockdown(s). Sea lane transit will likely slam on the brakes as well, and current maritime conflicts will see big developments. More figuratively we may ask "where are we going, and what dangers lie ahead?"
March 25th - Libra Lunar Eclipse
Tumblr media
For about a week things have been building up to this eclipse. Its twin will be visible across much of the United States in early April, meanwhile a comet will start to be visible in the night sky. Mars in Pisces copresent Saturn weighs heavily on this eclipse. The pace of events starts moving quickly and chaotically around eclipse season, and things start to move rapidly up or down, especially for prominent people & companies. This eclipse represents a culmination or next chapter of events started in October--major beginnings and major endings (in the Libra house of your chart for individuals). The picture may begin to get clearer. It's not the last installment, but things are clearly underway. Unfortunately this does not bode well for ongoing global conflicts. We can't see clearly with the eclipse, meanwhile Mercury is slowing down about to station retrograde, while right on the North Node. Combined with dangerous Mars-Saturn, it's a bit of a crazy situation. Jupiter's approach to a conjunction with Uranus indicates some surprising, amazing wins, and some people will find unexpected good fortune once the smoke clears. However, not everyone will be able to count on winning the Jupiter lottery here. (Later in April, when Jupiter conjoins Uranus exactly we can expect some kind of freedom and liberation).
The two weeks between these eclipses will be very active, dramatic, and chaotic, with beginnings and endings galore. In the Indian astrology dasha timing technique, the US Sibly chart has been in a time period ruled by Rahu (north node) since the early 2010s, making any eclipses visible in that country especially important to it. This is a time to be flexible!

pre-US grand prix astro, and hbd leclerc!
7:25 a.m. Oct. 15 2024 under a roof under the rain
One last astrology post related to F1 to get it out of my system this week so I can freely tune in to the other stuff I have on my to do list bc this is getting out of hand. I've paid more attention to the F1 astro spreadsheet than I have for literally four other projects so I need to put an end to this.
First off- today a few days ago was Charles Leclerc's solar return! (Finishing this waaaay late bc I got swamped w work)
Tumblr media
He has an AA chart, which means that profection years can be used more accurately. He just turned 27, coming in from a Saturn-ruled 3H year (driving, short-distance trips, communication, familiar places) to a Saturn-ruled 4H year (home, ancestry, foundation, privacy and coming home).
Although Saturn is still his timelord, this time his natal 4H Jupiter Aquarius now also joins the fray. Those are rather heavy generational planets in his chart, and is usually a signature of structure in his life- he has a natal Jupiter and Saturn sextile, which means that he gets so much support in his work from his hometown generally.
However, this year, his SR chart barely avoided being a full moon- which means that he also narrowly avoided a lot of the crazy stress and overstimulation that happens around the eclipse- particularly this one, which is conjunct Chiron, and is also the last one in the Aries-Libra axis for a while.
However, he is building up for a different kind of stress next year.
And now that Pluto in Capricorn is finally fucking direct again, Charles (and the rest of the cardinal-heavy grid) can get a rest from the spiritual washing machine of the early 20s.
Him, especially, finally getting somewhat of a break from the gutter of what must be either sleepless nights or health scares that he's been navigating for around three years now, since Pluto did its weird ups in 2020, and also considering that he's the only guy in the grid getting a 1-2 punch of the nodes in his luminaries.
(Big shoutout to Alex Albon and Esteban Ocon as well, for going through their nodal reversals this year. Big revelations with regards to their racing styles recently, but mostly for Alex, who has had the heavy pressures of Saturn pressuring his brain and good luck into diamonds these past two and a half years. Congrats on the hard-earned skills!)
However much Charles will be supported next year though, he will probably be more... scattered in a way, than he is now. Perhaps a lot more sponsorships here and there, more things to note of. SR Saturn in Pisces is still retrograde, and its ruler Jupiter is very dizzy in Gemini, as well as just freshly turning retrograde, which means that this whole next year will be unexpected for him, last-minute turns, and a fuckton of air, as the energy found in his 5H (play)-8H(debt) axis right now will stick with him for next year.
I've been rewatching the clip of him and Fred Horner jump into the bay in Monaco because that's what the best-case scenario energy of the SR return looks like for him honestly. The blessing of water, the gamble won by luck. Breaking a curse!
However, a lot of stuff will be delegated to him soon, and the muchness of it is what will suck major ass. These two are in mutable/mundane signs, which means that whatever will be the breaking point, it won't be an obvious thing. You can't pinpoint the one big source of his stress. It will be an accumulation of a lot of tiny ordinary things. That much spinny water in his house of creativity, risk, romance, and sports + twisty wind in the house of other people's money, secrets, and the community he gets from his career will combine into a huge hurricane next year.
Around February-March and August-September next year, will be good for him, I suppose, in a flowers-twisting-through-the-air kind of way. He'll do better abroad than at home.
However, astrology is a snapshot of the moment! And I want to see if my theories on this weekend's US Grand Prix will come into fruition for the racers based on what info I have on their charts (below the cut for more astrobabble):
F1 the race is primarily a sport. MARS, planet of action, will, drive, war, gasoline, fuel, combustion, things that go fast- it is king here in all the sport, especially one directly born from the war like F1 was.
Formula One the event, however, is a wonderful combination of Mercurial and benefic energy. It is considered the pinnacle of motorsports. It's an athletic competition that assigns points not to the strength or prowess of the body (Mars = physical strength) but rather, the power of the shell (Venus = adornment) they sit in, and the strategy + constant innovation made by multiple minds on the track all at once (Mercury = communication and relay) to get that shell on the track.
And also- Jupiter! A dry planet in a wet sign, going across all borders. The planet of wisdom and generosity is not as Mr. Worldwide as they should be in Sagittarius, but luck is not the point when it is in Pisces. Mysticism is the point in Pisces. Societal construct and keeping shit in is the point of Pisces (and I will talk about how racers with water placements consistently dominate the other fire-ruled racers in this sport next time, when I've finished the spreadsheet and get all 800+ racers on there).
Tumblr media
This is the chart I cast from the first F1 race btw, if you care. a more accurate F1 chart would be the day they signed the papers to get the event rolling, but for obvious reasons that document might not be open to the public. so this is the first F1 race in Silverstone. The article covering the event didn't mention the exact time the race started, so pay no mind to the ASC, I just aligned it so that Pluto is there.
To reiterate, F1 is a very shiny, very expensive, very fast and meticulous team sport as much as it relies on the driver, and while Mars is important here, he does not always get to dictate what goes on during a race.
So, can we use astrology to find out who wins the Grand Prix this weekend? Yes!
Can I do it? No.
LMAO I wish I was that skilled! However, making guesses is one of the free things in life that we have. And good for me, since I like experiments.
In order to "guess" who'll dominate the track, we'll have to establish two* things: the condition of the planets of the current racers; and the condition of the planets as they currently are in the sky right now.
But Helen! You say. Nobody has the fucking time to look up all of the racer's possible natal charts and color-code all seven of their traditional placements according to essential dignity! What kind of a weirdo would do such a-
Tumblr media
Oh, look. Here's a totally-not-obsessive spreadsheet of the natal planets of the current grid (including Daniel and Logan, w/c I haven't marked), as of the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix. Only a handful have accurate birth times, so no ASC, and mind the moon placements.
Before you say anything, I am clearly not the first astrogirlie who attempted to do this. Astro dot com has an AA-Rodden-rated chart of the first F1 racer all the way back in the 1950s, as well as rectified birth times for those famous racers whose birth certificates are not publicly available. Greater, more weirder minds than me have tried to tackle this. But I am the only one doing so on Tumblr. I think.
Anyway, now that we've established that, let's look at the conditions of the sky this weekend!
Tumblr media
Aspects: T-square between Fallen Mars, Fallen Sun, and Pluto in Capricorn; Venus sep. from Pluto, about to oppose Moon and detriment Jupiter; Grand Water Trine (by sign) from Mars, Mercury, and Saturn.
T-square between Fallen Mars, Fallen Sun, and Pluto in Capricorn
Most likely to affect: The Cardinal-heavy people, but most likely Leclerc, Perez, Alonso, and Bottas; who have more than 3 Cardinal placements each
Most stable drivers: The Water-heavy people, namely Sainz, Hamilton, and Stroll, who have more than 4 water placements each; and a special shoutout to Saturn making Albon especially stable (3 Pisces) (update: it's his 100th race! <3) , and Mars for making Alonso especially slick (3 Cancer)
Mars: Unhappy in a wet sign, will continue to be there until next year. Normal road rage is not cutting it on the track. This is the personal attacker, the passive aggressive warrior. Whoever is usually on top is now at the bottom. Emotional overtakes.
Sun: It does not like being in the sign of Libra, but now that it will be ruled by Venus in Sagittarius giving Ms. International vibes (and US being a Sagittarius country itself), and is also the anchor of this T-square between two big planets, it is going to give more pressure to those with Libra/Sagittarius placements. Perhaps even literal heat? Leclerc will be the most affected, followed by Zhou and Magnussen. Verstappen has the natal sextile between his Libra Sun + Mars in Sag as well, but the stars favor Libra III sun Leclerc better right now.
Venus separating from Pluto, about to oppose Moon and detriment Jupiter
Most likely to affect: Sagittarius placements, namely Verstappen, Leclerc, and Perez (natal Mars in this sign); Piastri (Jupiter Return, now Rx**); Hamilton, Russell, Hulkenberg, and Colapinto (one planet in Sag, to a lesser degree than the others)
Most supported drivers: Venus doesn't do well in motorsports/the game itself, but it sure as hell will drive up connections and funding for whoever is here, especially since the US likes a certain type of branding in its racehorses. Affected Fire Venuses on the grid; Leclerc, Piastri, Hulkenberg, and Ocon
Venus: Finally a fire sign in the sky, so expect more fights and a lot more friction on the tracks.
Moon & Jupiter: Mercury-ruled placements will have more air for this game. Since a majority of the grid has significant air placements, this wouldn't really stand out for any single racer. Piastri might be supported if he doesn't go the way of the two others, while Colapinto and Zhou might be noticed (but it possibly might be a personal thing that's not significant to the race).
Grand Water Trine (by sign) from Mars, Mercury, and Saturn
Most likely to affect: Alonso and Albon, and to a lesser degree Sainz, Hamilton, Russell. Can't say whether it'd be personally significant to them because there's no confirmed birth time for most of them, but it would be fun to see who gets bolstered during this highly emotional weekend.
To summarize, my guess would be that Leclerc and Perez perform the best this week though it won't necessarily translate to a podium. Piastri is a wildcard. The air-fire mutable energy in the sky is highly conducive to the air-fire cardinal-heavy grid, and indicates a lot swapped positions.
This would've been more easier because whoever has the most prominent Jupiter placement would be the winner- but I make do with the information that I have and the limitations of what I can interpret. Incredible fun.
(side note: Pluto planting its generational butt firmly in Aquarius next year up to the next 20 years could also just signal a change in F1 overall. Of course it would be detrimental across the grid, considering that the EU had passed a gasoline car ban for 2035, and that particular legislation's effect on motorsports as a whole will be an interesting landmark case to watch.
It's not going to happen anytime soon- but F1 is a ticking clock, and we'll see the first major regulation changes directly affected by that law next season. It's not too far to assume that we will see the last generation of true motor-oil-smoke racers in our lifetime, which is why it's kind of crazy to watch all of them now, here.)
(30) 10:02 a.m. Oct. 18 (I had too much work to do lmao)
*there's a third one, which requires me to check their fucking astrocartography lines and see how lucky they are in Austin, Texas. But my weirdery also has limits. Such as the human need to eat food and get out of the chair.
**Piastri is also the only one who had a Jupiter return in Gemini still on the grid. Both Ricciardo and Sargeant have dropped out.

Energy Update: Saturn enters Pisces 3/7/2023
Today, under the light of our Virgo full moon, Saturn leaves behind the structure of fixed Aquarius for the amalgamous, mutable energy of Pisces. This is a big deal - Saturn stays in any given sign for three years and his sojourn through the signs sets the feeling of time as we experience it.
It is worth noting that while Saturn was in the fixed air sign of Aquarius we experienced a global airborne pandemic that forced us away from society (which Aquarius rulers) and keep us inside our own houses (see also: the unmoving nature of the fixed signs). Saturn entered Aquarius in March of 2020 as the lockdowns were being enacted and we can expect (even more of) the pandemic restrictions to be lifted as time moves on and we enter the season of Saturn in Aquarius.* There is reason to hope that this switchover will end the pandemic altogether, but only time will tell if that comes to pass. Pisces is a very different beast from Aquarius. Where Aquarius holds accountable, corrects, and ultimately changes through the intense combination of its two rulers (Saturn and Uranus); Pisces uses Neptune's energy to dissolve and (hopefully) unify.
Many astrologers like to tout the exalted Piscean virtues of blending and melding together, dissolving boundaries, and universal love. It is worth noting, almost immediately here, that these traits are anathema to the concept of Saturnian time. Saturn widdles us away to the cores of who we are. Saturn controls and corrects to show you what is important. Pisces would like to believe that everything, if melded back into primordial goo, can be equally important but Saturn would like to state that we have moved far beyond the primordial goo phase of existence. Pisces does not want boundaries and accountability and Saturn is made of boundaries and accountability. This conflict is what we are going to have to sit in and process as he makes his slow journey over the next three years. Perhaps it can be said that Pisces NEEDS to constrictive energy of Saturn because universal love without boundaries sounds an awful lot like co-dependency. Perhaps Saturn NEEDS Pisces to be reminded to soften those hard edges.
We will all fall somewhere on that spectrum (based on our own personal charts and life experiences) and where we fall on that spectrum will likely impact how we experience this three-year transit. Nobody is exempt from the pressures that Saturn brings to the table it will affect us all on both a personal level and globally. This transit will most specifically affect individuals with a strong Piscean impact in their natal birth charts and especially those who were born with Saturn IN Pisces who will be experiencing this transit as their Saturn Return. Themes that involve both Piscean and Saturnian energies:
Forgiveness that comes with a heavy dose of responsibility
Healthy boundaries that are both strong AND flexible
Accepting accountability with grace
Daydreaming that leads to constructive planning for the future
Universal love with strong personal boundaries
Social services like UBI or universal healthcare
There is a lot of good that may come of this Saturnian transit but it is the kind of good that you need to take active steps to work for in your life. Saturn demands that you step away from the idea that you can just dream your way into the future (very immature Piscean energy there) and put one foot in front of another to walk towards that fucking goal. If you don't have the effort in you, this is going to be a hard go of things. There's no way around that.
This is a good transit to use towards putting the work into strengthening your spiritual gifts - that is a lovely combination of Piscean and Saturnian energies. But this does come with a caveat (it always does): remember that all that glitters is not gold. Pisces, being the last sign of the horoscope wheel that is ruled by the 12th house of the unconscious, can attract some real creepers if you know what I mean. Not everything that's "for sale" during this three-year transit is going to be for your own good so if you're the gullible type, I suggest putting your skeptic glasses on, stat. If it looks too easy or too good to be true, it probably is. And if it is, it's gonna be extra hard because Saturn is here to rub that lesson right in.
It'll be a wild ride. Pack a life vest if you don't like going off the deep end because this shit is gonna go deep.
*This is not a judgment call on whether restrictions SHOULD be lifted mind you, just an observation of the way that Saturn's influence impacts the many societies of our world.

INTUITIVE ASTROLOGY: SATURN IN PISCES 2023-2026
Tumblr media
https://www.aucoeurdeleveil.com/astrologie-intuitive-saturne-en-poissons-2023-2026/#:~:text=Saturne%20entrera%20en%20Poissons%20les%207%20et%208,r%C3%A9alit%C3%A9%2C%20d%E2%80%99intensifier%20et%20d%E2%80%99assumer%20une%20plus%20grande%20responsabilit%C3%A9.
On March 7, 2023, Saturn will move from Aquarius into Pisces where it will remain until February 14, 2026.
Want to know what Saturn in Pisces will bring to your zodiac sign? Get your Saturn in Pisces horoscope here.
Saturn ends a karmic cycle in Aquarius Saturn first entered Aquarius in December 2020, in a fateful alignment known as the Grand Conjunction. This rare alignment paved the way for Saturn to unfold into Aquarius energy.
Now that we are at the end of this cycle, think back to the themes, patterns, or lessons that have unfolded in your life since December 2020. Where have you had to set boundaries? Where have you had to step in and take responsibility for things in your life? Where did you feel held back?
These are all things the energy of Saturn can inspire in an effort to connect us more deeply with what we really want and what we need to take responsibility for.
Saturn can be compared to a strict teacher or a master teacher. While this can bring hard lessons, it pushes us to bring out our full potential. When Saturn is done with us, we feel wiser, more mature, and more aligned with where we want to be.
Saturn is also known as the Lord of Karma, and as it travels through each sign of the zodiac, it ensures that all of our karmic checks and balances are paid.
If you know your birth chart, you can look up which house Saturn traveled to in Aquarius to determine which charts you worked with. You can also download your Saturn in Aquarius zodiac ratio here.
Now, with Saturn moving, we are going to feel a shift. All of Saturn's ancient lessons in Aquarius will come to a head, helping us find closure and resolve any issues.
Before Saturn leaves Aquarius, it will also be sure to deliver all of our karmic rewards! In fact, ancient astrologers believed that when Saturn moves out of a zodiac sign, it always leaves a gift to remind us and reward us for all the hard work we've done.
So, as Saturn prepares to enter a new cycle in Pisces, pay attention to your gifts from the Universe! Stay open to what happens to you and see if you can honor difficult lessons and who you are today because of them.
Saturn moving in Pisces Saturn will enter Pisces on March 7-8, 2023 depending on your time zone. Saturn's location on the zodiac wheel indicates where, as a society, we are compelled to face reality, step up, and take greater responsibility.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, so the movement of Saturn here also indicates an end or a point of completion of a larger cycle.
In a way, you might think of Saturn's move into Pisces as a collective Saturn return, where we all process and move forward through the karmic lessons and gifts of Saturn as it travels through the entire zodiac.
Pisces is a water sign that represents light, darkness, and the unseen worlds. He is known for his abstract ideas, creativity, compassion and willingness to go with the flow. Pisces is mutable water, which means it is adaptable, free-flowing, and open to the energies of the world around it.
Saturn is a very grounded earth energy. He rules over things like the law, boundaries, responsibilities, and restrictions. Saturn energy can feel like an awakening at times, bringing us back to reality and confronting us with the consequences of our actions and the actions of the collective.
Saturn's presence in Pisces might feel a bit heavy because of this. This normally watery, intuitive, and sensitive Pisces energy will be forced to become a little stiffer, a little more grounded, and a little more reserved.
You can think of it this way – if Pisces is free-flowing water, the presence of Saturn will build dams. These dams can direct water in a productive and more beneficial direction, but it can also feel more stifling or controlling.
However, there is a way to create a balance between these two energies. The creative, intangible and outer ideas of Pisces energy can be grounded in reality thanks to Saturn. It can allow us to take those creative, even spiritual, ideas and bring them to life in this 3D world.
If the energy of Pisces is like a piece of music, the presence of Saturn can help us write the musical notes so that the piece of music can change from a tune that only lives in our heads to something that can to be played, listened to and available forever more.
Saturn in Pisces in the real world If you work in a creative, inventive, or spiritual field, the presence of Saturn can help you take all your ideas and give them root so you can build something with them.
Saturn has a very grounded and practical energy, so pair it with the creativity of Pisces, and there is a balance that can be achieved here to help you bring your creative ideas to life and turn them into reality or even turn them into a company.
Pisces is also tied to religion and spirituality, so with Saturn here, there could be a lot of themes around religion and spirituality and how they relate to the laws and rules that govern society.
The spiritual and wellness industry may also be awakened by this energy, or personally, you may find that your own attitudes and beliefs regarding your spiritual or religious connection shift and change.
As the last sign of the zodiac, there are a few of all 12 signs in Pisces. These little seeds of energy will hit us at different times over the next few years, but whenever Saturn is involved, it's always a good idea to return to responsibility.
How can you take responsibility for the life you choose, your actions, your words, the energy you put out into the world?
Saturn wants us to step up and take responsibility for our lives and act in accordance with our true, authentic selves.
Saturn can impose limits and restrictions that make us feel stuck or suffocated, but it's only so we can take the time to figure out what we really want and what we're really prepared to stand up for.
Saturn charts in Pisces With Saturn in Pisces, the following themes can be noticed:
Revisiting the traditions or religion of our ancestors Desire to understand our lineage Feeling stuck or creatively held back while we rework our creativity Feeling spiritually stuck or held back as we rework our spiritual connection A back and forth between the structure and following the current A greater sense of grounding and structure of our creative and spiritual ideas A desire to care for and show compassion towards our fellow human beings Greater concern for the well-being of others Increase sensitivity to our higher senses Problems related to laws in relation to religion Religious matters in general A need to rebalance how we give and receive compassion Chart your own cycle from Saturn to Pisces The last time Saturn passed through Pisces was from 1994 to 1996, so if you remember that, think about the themes that came to you during that time. It's not that the same thing will happen again, but you may notice that similar themes or lessons are brought forward.
If you know your birth chart, you can also look at which house is ruled by Pisces to understand which areas of your life Saturn will affect you.
If you are unsure of your birth chart, don't worry, you can also pay attention to the charts or events that await you around March 7 and 8. You can also get a glimpse of what Saturn in Pisces will bring under the New Moon in Pisces on February 19.
You can also upload your Saturn in Pisces for your sign report, which highlights what Saturn in Pisces can spark for your Sun sign and Ascendant.
Whatever problems Saturn in Pisces brings, you can expect an area of your life to be challenged. Although there is a lot of learning to do, you will emerge wiser, more mature and more integrated into your soul path.

Every full moon is unique in what it brings into your life. There's a new full moon every month (and on rare occasions, sometimes two), each with a story to tell, a meaning behind its name, and its own special way of affecting you.
Full moons "can feel like an enlightening climax — full of drama and emotional heights," says queer astrologer Aryn the Alchemist. "Bathed in lunar light, the shadowlands of our psyches are more apparent and therefore offer revelation and release. We harvest what we planted two weeks prior [during the new moon] and then restart the ebb and growth cycle of a month's lunation."
Though all full moons share this same energy, each one has a slightly different vibe, since the planets' exact positions change from year to year — and, of course, we evolve, too. Plus, each full moon may affect you differently than others around you, based on your specific birth chart. And the worm moon happening on March 7, 2023 will be especially potent.
The worm moon comes around every March, but the 2023 worm moon has special significance, says Narayana Montúfar, senior astrologer for Astrology.com and author of "Moon Signs: Unlock Your Inner Luminary Power." The moon "is bringing a lot of karmic endings as well as redirections in our path. It is basically an act of balance between the left and right sides of the brain, and by attaining it, we can reach an overall feeling of wholeness," she says.
Keep reading to learn more about the March worm moon, including how it may impact each zodiac sign.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻?
According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, there are a couple of theories behind why March's moon is referred to as the "worm moon." One theory says that March is the time of year when the worms come out of the earth, forced out by heavy rainfall and the thawing of soil.
However, "an alternative explanation for this name comes from Captain Jonathan Carver, an 18th-century explorer, who wrote that this Moon name refers to a different sort of 'worm' — beetle larvae — which begin to emerge from the thawing bark of trees and other winter hideouts at this time," the Almanac says.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯?
The worm moon will be at its peak on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 7:40 a.m. ET, according to the Farmer's Almanac.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵?
March's full worm moon will be in Virgo.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻?
March's full moon is a signal to get in touch with karmic change.
The worm moon in practical Virgo coincides with the sun, Mercury, and Neptune all in romantic water sign Pisces. As such, "this is a time when we're more sensitive to emotional undercurrents and the allure of fantasies and magic," Aryn says. However, "the Virgo full moon grounds us in the practical. It illuminates what aspects of our routine we're neglecting and may need some redirection and encourages us to nourish our bodies as well as our spirits. The Virgo–Pisces axis speaks to service and the role we play in helping others in our local and global communities."
Another major factor in play is Saturn — the planet that rules boundaries, responsibility, and self-mastery — which leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces just an hour after the full moon, Montúfar says. "For this reason, this full moon could bring the ending of a situation that began back on March 21, 2020, which is when Saturn first entered Aquarius." Since Saturn rules karma, these endings or grand finales will feel "destined" or "meant to be."
The spiritual message of the worm moon, Montúfar continues, is "that whatever happens now is nonnegotiable," so be prepared to take a big leap of faith, and look toward your path forward with excitement and clarity.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗭𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗰 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀?
𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬-𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟵)
This full moon will make you very aware of the changes you need to make at a health and wellness level, bringing you the opportunity to abandon any bad habits, Montúfar says. So if you're thinking of starting a meditation practice or new training plan, now is the time.
𝗧𝗮𝘂𝗿𝘂𝘀 (𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬-𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬)
Around this time of year, you may be so invested in your community that you forget to give yourself some TLC. If you've been itching to start a new creative venture or change something about your look, you have a cosmic blessing to do so, Aryn advises. Even the simple act of carving out space to play can have a big impact.
𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 (𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟭-𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬)
Nurture the hearth during this full worm moon, whether that means cleaning, organizing, or having a cozy night in. Your personal goals, career ambitions, and community relationships are fortified by how well you care for your space. Remember to tend to your roots so your branches can grow, Aryn says.
𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 (𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟭-𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟮)
This full moon will have you running around as messages, invitations, and millions of requests arrive in your inbox at once, Montúfar says. On a deeper level, you'll begin to notice a long-term shift in which the universe will instigate you to begin changing your overall belief system.
𝗟𝗲𝗼 (𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟯-𝗔𝘂𝗴. 𝟮𝟮)
You'll likely be concerned with financial affairs or exchanges during this worm moon, Leo. It could mark the end of a financial situation or you may be re-evaluating the give-and-take in your relationships, Montúfar says.
𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗼 (𝗔𝘂𝗴. 𝟮𝟯-𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁. 𝟮𝟮)
The full moon occurring in your sign offers a reset button — release what keeps you from becoming anew, and cultivate connections that fill your cup, Aryn says. Their advice? Seek answers from mentors, books, and your own fruitful imagination to map out the adventure of your dreams.
𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮 (𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁. 𝟮𝟯-𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟮)
This will be an intense, emotional time for Libras. Pay attention to your dreams, connections, and self-talk, as they play a significant role in your internal landscape. And remember: support can come from the most unexpected places; your thirst for expansion will attract possible mentors and collaborators, says Aryn.
𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗶𝗼 (𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟯-𝗡𝗼𝘃. 𝟮𝟭)
The worm moon might bring some drama your way, Scorpio. "An ending within your community is in store at this full moon. While it could be sad to see some of your peers go, it can also open the door to other opportunities down the road," Montúfar says.
𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘂𝘀 (𝗡𝗼𝘃. 𝟮𝟮-𝗗𝗲𝗰. 𝟮𝟭)
Montúfar predicts this full moon will impact your work–life balance, dear Archer. "Everyone seems to be wanting something from you, from your bosses to your partner or roommates. If you can, keep your schedule manageable! A career situation could also reach a climax, putting you in the limelight for a job well done," Montúfar notes.
𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻 (𝗗𝗲𝗰. 𝟮𝟮-𝗝𝗮𝗻. 𝟭𝟵)
This is your time for expansion and adventure. It's time to start a new project or jump into a new pursuit — even if you can't travel or take your dream trip, Aryn recommends new books, podcasts, and conversations to get yourself inspired.
𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘂𝘀 (𝗝𝗮𝗻. 𝟮𝟬-𝗙𝗲𝗯. 𝟭𝟴)
Fluctuations in your livelihood and home base may have you gasping for stability. Find stillness in what makes you feel joy, in those that make you feel alive. Remember that beginnings are fertilized by what ends before them, and you are a part of this beautiful regenerative process, Aryn says.
𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗙𝗲𝗯. 𝟭𝟵-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬)
Montúfar predicts an exciting time for you: "For you, Pisces, this full moon begins a three-year period in which the universe will request you to show up for yourself! What is your life's purpose? How can you build something meaningful in your life? Focus on answering these questions as master teacher Saturn enters your sign. Whatever you build for yourself in the next three years will remain in your life forever!"

The planet Saturn will enter Pisces on March 7th, 2023. So why is this important? Let’s think back to the last time Saturn changed signs which was March of 2020 where it entered the sign of Aquarius. I’m sure you don’t have to think too hard to try and remember what was happening all around the world at that time. Saturn is the planet of karma, lessons, authority and restrictions. Aquarius is humanitarian, progressive and rebellious but also introverted. Putting those things together, you can start seeing the things we experienced during the pandemic. So here’s a personal question. Are you the same person you were before March 2020? As for me, I don’t even know her. Saturn has a way of steering us towards our purpose. Saturn is now entering Pisces. So what can we expect? Well, stick around for part two of this energetic shift. There’s a lot to cover. Pisces is intuitive/spiritual, creative, empathic, dreamy and imaginative. What are your thoughts as to what could come in the next three years now that you understand the basics of what Saturn and Pisces energies together could bring? (—) ★ spotted!! AXEL FITZGERALD on the cover of this week’s most recent tabloid! many say that the 25 year old looks like RYAN MANICK, but i don’t really see it. while  the MUSICIAN/ACTOR is known for being PERCEPTIVE my inside sources say that they have a tendency to be BROODY i swear, every time i think of them, i hear the song SIGN OF THE TIMES by HARRY STYLES  { HE/HIM, CISMALE }

𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓼
name: axel mitch fiztgerald
age: twenty five
nicknames: axe
date of birth: march 2nd, 1999
astrological sign: pisces
place of birth: new york , new york
occupation: musician / actor
label: the brooder
positive traits: perceptive, deep, creative, charming
negative traits: broody, irrational, impulsive, addictive
characters/celebrities he’s like: harry styles, britney spears, justin bieber, miley cyrus,
𝓫𝓲𝓸𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓱𝔂
the first born son of mitchum and lorelai fitzgerald, although his parents were the heirs to the infamous lvhm group, parenting always came first for them and they were ever present and ever involved, although axel shows all the classic tell tale signs of a rich kid with mommy and/or daddy issues.
growing up in the lavish lifestyle that they did, axel always felt like it was cold - the houses were too big, the designer stuff was tacky, the excess was exhausting and he just felt as though there was more meaning to life then all this stuff.
seeing that their son clearly needed an outlet, they enrolled axel in music classes and almost immediately, he showed an insane amount of talent.
he caught on to guitar and piano rather quickly and after a few years, he was writing his own songs.
with his parent's encouragement, when he was sixteen, he tried out for the x-factor and while he wasn't good enough to make it as a solo artist, the judges put him in a group with four other guys and there, their journey to international stardom began.
the group of five went on to win the show and stole hearts all over the world. teenage heartthrobs, it wasn't long until they were embarking on world tours, selling out stadiums and living the rockstar dream.
however, the dream was a nightmare for axel. because while he was getting all of the attention and adoration in the world, he was singing stupid teeny-bopper sounding songs that didn't mean anything to him. all of his suggestions were turned down and he was simply forced to be 'the pretty one' in the group - the one that girls threw themselves at and while he was standoffish about it for a while, he got to a point where he had no choice but to completely embrace it.
he played the part well - almost every other month had a different super model or actress on his arm, and slowly but surely began to become who people looked at as the 'leader' of the band.
he wasn't that close with his bandmates and instead, formed a clique inside of hollywood that consisted of a group of young people with far too much money and far too much time that enjoyed partying and excess.
it wasn't rare for the paparazzi to find him coming out of the club as the sun was rising with blood shot eyes nor was it rare for him to find himself getting into a drunken fight...or two...or five.
his behavior began to get more sporadic as time went on - often going on instagram lives, smoking a joint and ranting about how everything was pointless and nothing but a meaningless joke, much to the dismay of the band and their management team that tried to present the boys with a squeaky clean image, but after five years of this rollercoaster, axel was beyond fed up.
his parents never interfered with his behavior. they chalked it up to him being young and simply 'trying to find his way' and thought it would be better for him to figure things out on his own, even though he was getting to a point where adult interference was truly what he needed more than anything.
in 2020, when axel was 22 years old, the band's team presented them with a concept for their next album and axel, being high off of his mind in the meeting, threw an absolute fit. it was the same stuff the bad had been singing for the past five years, the same teenage image even though they were all in their twenties now and axel had enough. after a long winded rant and flipping a few tables, axel stormed out and quit the band for good. the band only lasted a few months without him before breaking up.
2021 was the darkest year of his life. he did absolutely nothing but loose himself further in drugs, alcohol, meaningless sex and parties. and all of that started turning him into a shell of a person. he truly didn't care about anything or anyone and after being arrested four times for driving under the influence, the fourth time resulting in him crashing his car into a strip of stores on hollywood boulevard, he was court ordered to enter rehab in the beginning of 2022.
his year in rehab did nothing but further his belief in the fact that hollywood was an evil and soul sucking place and the only reason he ever did drugs or drank in the first place was a way to escape from that. he felt as though he was smarter and already knew better than everyone in rehab and simply put on the act - pretended like he was going through the steps and that it was all working just so he could get the hell out of there and release his truth - his first album which he wrote completely while in rehab.
he was released in the fall of 2023 and after laying low for a few months, he reached out to his team about his album, however they shot it down immediately and said he had to clean up his image first before anyone bought his record.
so, they got him cast on one tree hill - a show about teenagers, the very thing that had drove him insane in the first place - having to act like he was some stupid kid having the time of his life.
he hates everything about the show and his stupid character, nathan scott, and is not exactly keen on becoming friends with his castmates either, but is simply trying to behave as much as he could so he can release the music he act

Salacia Opposing Makemake
Tumblr media
On 15 March Makemake and Salacia will oppose one another with Salacia at 9 degrees of Aries and Makemake at 10 degrees of Libra. They’ll remain within 1 degree of each other until 30 April as Makemake retrogrades back into Salacia. Then, for a few months Salacia will be ahead until it retrogrades back into Makemake and enters a close conjunction again 4 September to 21 October.
This is something that happens every year right now. Salacia has been opposing Makemake at a wide orb since 1998 when it was in Pisces and it will continue to do so until 2045 when Salacia will be in Taurus. Close oppositions (under one degree) between the two planets will pop up in the Summer of 2012-2019; in the Spring and Autumn of 2020-2030; then the opposition will ebb away with the last few in the winter of 2031-2038. What this means is that this opposition is currently at its strongest - we’ve had 12 years of it and we have 14 years to go.
The Planets
Makemake is relatively large for a dwarf planet - it takes 306.2 years to cross the zodiac. Salacia is the smallest of the dwarf planets to be named. It’s smaller and a little bit faster - it makes it across the zodiac in 274 years. Because of their relatively similar speeds, aspects last a long time. As far as I can see they were last conjunct in the 11th century.
This means for most people alive now, if Makemake and Salacia have anything to do with one another, it’ll be oppositional. And this is a real shame because I genuinely don’t think they’re naturally hostile to one another. Makemake and Salacia seem to work in the same area - how you use resources and systems.
My view is, Makemake takes a bit of a birds eye view of something while Salacia is about being very much in it. Makemake is interested in how things fit together and how to use that. Salacia is more about vibes. If Makemake wanted to sell you something it could talk you into it. Salacia would have a shop you’re naturally interested in going into. When I think of Makemake I think of nationalism, patriotism, and manipulating resources. When I think of Salacia I think of forms of media, ways of networking, and things that are hidden or hard to see.
The Opposition
When Makemake and Salacia oppose, look for systems that are hiding, or things hidden in systems. Particularly, look for things hidden in how systems made up of people.
Manipulative nationalism or cult behaviour strikes me as very appropriate for the Makemake-Salacia opposition. Basically you have the manipulative abilities of Makemake working alongside the hiddenness of Salacia. Malware, gaslighting, parasocial relationships and scams are all very relevant for this, but particularly situations where the core of the scam is how you identify and what you identify with.
The core lie to watch out for is “You can trust me because we’re the same”. The core lie to watch out for in yourself is the belief that someone is going to treat you well because they’re in your church, or political movement, or share your interest in astrology, or share your queer identity. We often think of scams, cults, abuse and grooming as things that happen to other people. In the UK “Muslim grooming gangs” have been a huge issue even though there’s no evidence that you’re more likely to be abused by a Muslim than a white person. It’s comforting to believe that evil is somehow different to your own community because it’s far easier to believe that than to recognise that the risk is always from people who look like you, talk like you, think like you, live with you.
So, yeah, keep your hand on your wallet. Be safe. Don’t put your passwords or bank details into anything surprising without thinking about it first. Explore new ideas all you like but remain genuinely curious, and that means not just staying open minded but also being critical of the person telling you about UFOs, or how to vote, or how to lose weight, or dwarf planet astrology. They might be just bullshitting you.
The Positives
You know what, it’s good to be part of a group, it’s good to be seduced, and we do have elections coming up and a genocide in Gaza to fight. In Salacia and Makemake we have two somewhat cerebral and manipulative energies in close aspect for a long period of time. Now could be a good time to sweep someone off their feet, or be swept. It might not be as meaningful as you think at the time but that doesn’t mean it’s not potentially fun. Propaganda and group identification might be kicked into overdrive for the next few weeks but that also means there’s possibilities to get a message out and solidify your groups. Maybe don’t expect truth to get as far as lies or genuine community to win out over cultish devotion - but we have the cosmic energy we have and all we can do is work with it ethically.
Also, sometimes it might be good to be a part of a crowd. Makemake is direct and Salacia is retrograde so now would be a good time for collective actions - the Eurovision fandom is doing this at the moment. People have formed relationships through a shared interest, got angry about the war in Gaza, and now they’re working out how to act on that. A movement emerges where there wasn’t one visible before. It emerges in conflict and sadness, but that’s powerful. More of that please.
I’ve got notes underneath about examples of this aspect in the past and a schedule of when it happened and will happen.

Julian Assange when he hid in the embassy - Makemake was conjunct his natal Pluto and Salacia was Conjunct Chariklo - so survival and hidden knowledge were issues related to hiding by attaching himself to a nation. Makemake opposes Gonggong along his MC. Gongong is associated with major upsets and upheavals and Makemake is associated with national identity. Pretty appropriate for someone who shocked the world by revealing national secrets
Tumblr media
Brexit happened with an opposition between the 8th house Makemake (what the country is owed) and 2nd house Salacia (our place in a global economy)
Tumblr media
Zelenskyy had a Makemake - Gonggong opposition along his MC, again, appropriate for someone whose election has led to such an upheaval and a change in Ukraine's self-image and image in the world. When he was elected president the Makemake-Salacia opposition had a positive aspect with him Sun and Venus which really shines a light on his charm and charisma.

Welcome to the Shadow of the Eclipse
October 4-31, 2023
Some introductory notes
The “shadow of the eclipse” is a time period lasting from 10 days before the first eclipse, to three days after the final eclipse. It is recommended not to start anything new, or schedule anything important, during these days - as usual I refer everyone to the 1981 wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to the Prince of Wales, as an example.
Of course we live in a place/time which scoffs at letting astrology help with the timing of events - therefore don’t lose hope if something falls unavoidably within the eclipse shadow. Just be prepared.
I wanted to take a more thorough approach to delineation, this time. I hope it’s helpful.
South Node Solar Eclipse
A solar eclipse happens when the New Moon lies close (in the Zodiac) to either the North Lunar Node, or to the South one. It occurred to me to do a little research on whether which Node is involved, makes any difference - and yes, it does.
Astrologers call the South Node “the dragon’s tail” - Steven Forrest calls the South Node, “the dragon’s butt” - because here we are “pooping out” what we don’t need and can’t use. (One person’s poop, however, is another person’s fertilizer.)
Eclipses conjunct the South Lunar Node, like the October 14 one, have an outflowing (outpooping?) of energy. They tend to feature external events which we have to “rise up to.”
If you’d like to note how these have affected you in the past (always a good idea to check “what happened last time”), here is a list of the previous South Node solar eclipses in this century:
December 14, 2001, 22°56’ Sagittarius
December 4, 2002, 11°58’ Sagittarius
November 23, 2003, 1°14’ Sagittarius
October 14, 2004, 21°06’ Libra
October 3, 2005, 10°19’ Libra
September 22, 2006, 29°20’ Virgo
September 11, 2007, 18°25’ Virgo
August 1, 2008, 9°32’ Leo
July 22, 2009, 29°27’ Cancer
July 11, 2010, 19°24’ Cancer
June 1, 2011, 11°02’ Gemini
July 1, 2011, 9°12’ Cancer
May 20, 2012, 0°21’ Gemini
May 10, 2013, 19°31’ Taurus
April 29, 2014, 8°52’ Taurus
March 20, 2015, 29°27’ Pisces
March 9, 2016, 18°56’ Pisces
February 26, 2017, 8°12’ Pisces
February 15, 2018, 27°08’ Aquarius
January 6, 2019, 15°25’ Capricorn
December 26, 2019, 4°07’ Capricorn
December 14, 2020, 23°08’ Sagittarius
December 4, 2021, 12°22’ Sagittarius
October 25, 2022, 2°00’ Scorpio
October 14, 2023, 21°08’ Libra
Going down that list was a very uncomfortable trip down memory lane for me. When those South Node eclipses affected me, it was generally a harbinger of some difficult “external event” which I had little to no control over - which is not the same thing as saying “it wasn’t my fault.” I brought some of it on myself due to bad decisions. Some karma chickens coming home to roost, in other words. Not all of them were dire, though. One in particular gave me something of a respite from what had been happening in my life - it was conjunct my natal 12th House cusp.
Saros Series “7 South”
This eclipse is part of Saros Series “7 South.” Bernadette Brady writes,
The individual experiencing this series will find that huge obstacles will suddenly and easily clear or, on the negative side, a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest and move through his or her life very rapidly. Either way the individual will feel that everything is moving at great speed. (The Eagle and the Lark)
Previous Saros “7 South” eclipses in Ms M’s lifetime:
September 11, 1969, 18°53’ Virgo
September 23, 1987, 29°34’ Virgo
October 3, 2005, 10°19’ Libra
Not quite as depressing for me personally.
Whatever Shall We Do?
1) Determine which of your natal houses this eclipse falls in.
2) Determine whether the eclipse makes an aspect to anything in your chart. Use a 1° orb. In my case, the conjunctions, squares, sesquiquads (135°), inconjuncts, and oppositions made the most obvious impacts.
3) If there is a close aspect to a planet, check to see which house(s) that planet rules. One South Node eclipse was conjunct the ruler of my natal 4th House, and I moved three months later.
4) Avoid strenuously negative thoughts. If you put a lot of energy into anticipating that something is going to be horrible and painful and disastrous, well, guess what - that’s exactly what’s going to happen. If you catch yourself falling into a panic, try to refocus the energy into “the best possible outcome.”

April 2024 Important Dates
Tumblr media
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's April forecast, hosted by Chris Brennan and Diana Rose Harper (Austin is away on paternity leave). This is one of the most astrologically active months in the year. In addition to planetary movements, there's a comet that will be visible soon in the night sky and a nova.
We're going into the month right off the tail of a Libra lunar eclipse on March 25th. We're in "eclipse season," the time between eclipses, with much activity to report. Starting off, Baltimore's Key Bridge collapsed after a container ship crashed into it, which Austin called last forecast when he said that Mars's entry into Pisces (approaching a conjunction to Saturn) would involve a sudden halt in maritime trade. Astrologically it's quite on the nose, with a Libra (associated with trade/commerce) moon conjunct the South Node (symbolizing lack and decrease). We even have a chart for the opening of this bridge: it was an exact Mars return for this bridge, as well as its Uranus opposition and nodal opposition. Also on the Libra eclipse was the UN Security Council's vote for a ceasefire in Gaza. The April 8th eclipse will show us whether this resolution is successful, and a final Libra eclipse in October will tie these events together.
In celebrity news, we had obviously doctored photos of Kate Middleton prompting increasingly wild speculation on what the British royal family was hiding, culminating in Kate announcing her cancer diagnosis & chemotherapy plans on the March 22nd Venus(women, exalted in Pisces = royalty)-Saturn (slow illnesses) conjunction. She was also born on a lunar eclipse & announced this right before one. Just 3 days after the eclipse, on March 28th, Sam Bankman-Fried of FTX was sentenced to 25 years in prison, the newest development in a story that began on an eclipse when BitCoin crashed and revealed his role in one of the biggest instances of financial fraud in US history.
In smaller news, a nova in the T Coronae Borealis system will be visible as a new star in the night sky this year. This nova is visible every 76 years or so (the last time was 1946), and has been observed as far back as the Middle Ages. Add this to the eclipses and the comet, and Chris hasn't seen such an astrological buildup since forecasting 2020. As the eclipse hit his 3rd house Donald Trump published a book combining the Bible and the US Constitution, while in other news an orca was stranded in British Columbia, another dolphin & orca-related development in the (Mars-)Saturn in Pisces in cycle and Arizona announced Pluto as their state planet.
April Overview: with significant activity in Pisces, Aries, and Taurus simultaneously, we'll be getting hard aspects to every modality (and trines to every element)--everyone will be getting hit with some kind of change (but will have opportunities for growth as well). Chris makes a distinction between the challenging first half of the month, and a second half which will see more clarity.
April 1st - Mercury stations retrograde By time of posting this retrograde is in full swing: disruptions in communication, plans, travel and technology. Diana describes this as especially frustrating in Aries, trying to go one way but some huge miscommunication gets in the way. We may have to walk back on words spoken in anger and renegotiate situations where we identified the wrong target as our enemy. With the eclipse's ruler Mars conjoining Saturn on the 10th, anyone who travels for the eclipse and hangs around for a few days may run into blockages, likely due to rain and floods. Other general Mercury retrograde significations: people come back into your life, unfinished projects become relevant again, and situations from the past resurface. For example, Sagittarius risings often see the "duderang" effect where male lovers come back into their lives, as Mercury rules their Gemini 7th house. Mercury rx also brings delays and slowdowns, and is generally a good time for introspection and "emotional alchemy."
April 3rd - Venus conjoins Neptune This occurs right as she leaves the sign of Pisces. Venus-Neptune keywords: dreamy, fantastical, imaginative (especially with art), compassionate, and opportunities to find new avenues of enjoyment and pleasure. Saturn's copresence in Pisces can bring us some grounding and reality. This can also bring unclear boundaries, uncertain relationships, and idealizing one's lover--like using the soft lens. In events, AI images and videos and toxic synthetic dyes also fall under Venus-Neptune. Is the siren's call too good to be true?
April 4th - Venus enters Aries Chris hopes that Venus's copresence to the eclipse will mitigate some of its effects, but on the flipside this means she's left Mars and Saturn alone with each other in the Pisces chart of our house.
April 8th - Total Solar Eclipse in Aries This eclipse will be visible over much of the (particularly eastern) continental US:
Tumblr media
Diana calls it a chiron eclipse, so here's the chart with chiron:
Tumblr media
The Moon will eclipse the Sun at 19 Aries, which is where Chiron will be as well. Mythologically, Hercules brings back the head (North Node, Aries) of the hydra to Chiron, whose poison causes him incredible pain because he is immortal and cannot die from it. He eventually trades his immortality for Prometheus and Zeus puts him in the heavens as a constellation. Narratively, eclipses invert what we expect: it becomes dark in the middle of the day! Prominent people fall suddenly from grace and new rulers skyrocket to power during eclipses. Because the eclipse occurs in the sign of the Sun's exaltation, leaders and heads of state/organization/etc will be especially affected. A similar Chiron-influenced Aries solar eclipse occurred in 1968 when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. Nelson Mandela was sent to jail under an eclipse, but was also freed under another eclipse and elected to office under yet another eclipse.
For individuals, make note of what house this occurs in for you; this will be the end of one chapter and the opening of a new one in this area of life. Anything close to 19° of Aries will definitely feel it, as will any placements at that degree of Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn (hard aspects to the cardinal signs), while 19 Leo and Sagittarius (trine to fire signs) may feel some support. Generally, this series of events in Aries-Libra began a year ago, and will have its final eclipse on this axis in March of 2025.
This eclipse is ruled by a Mars (♓) who's just about conjunct with Saturn (♓), grinding things to a halt. Whatever's happening in the Aries and Pisces place is going to take some extra time. Other keywords: the end of a life cycle, matters of great importance & turning points in world history, major disasters as well as scientific discoveries. Eclipses highlight just how much is out of our control, like being on a teacup ride that's going too fast and being unable to stop unless something hits you. 6 months later, we'll get an eclipse that connects to some of these events:
Tumblr media
Diana also points out that there will be an influx of tourists to rural areas of the US, advising travelers to stay courteous and noting that many local municipalities advise residents to stock up on basic supplies so they won't be lacking when a small area is flooded with new people & their needs. Generally, the eclipse will be a very creepy experience, with the Sun going completely dark, colors becoming muted, and stars may even be visible--some cultures have warnings against going outside during eclipses. Back to metaphors, Chris points out that the small seeds of much larger events are often planted during eclipses. Sometimes you don't know until later just how important this obscured implantation is because, like the Sun, our vision is occulted. Take notes, even of subtle things.
April 10th - Mars conjunct Saturn in Pisces We expect the two malefics to bring us challenges: their conjunctions in late Capricorn & early Aquarius heralded the first COVID lockdowns, and other hard aspects brought new variants and similar pandemic news. In 2022 a Mars-Saturn conjunction occurred with an epidemic of ebola. However, note that these are all airborne viruses, and these movements occurred with Saturn in the air sign of Aquarius. What will this look like in Pisces, a water sign? Chris predicts that existing Saturn-Pisces issues with water pollution and maritime trade/travel will have destructive moments as Mars comes in, while Diana thinks about water as a vector of disease, such as cholera & sewage treatment. Now that deep permafrost is melting due to climate change, we may also see new pathogens or substances released, as well as complications from farm water runoff. We'll definitely see the effects of this Baltimore bridge collapse, and, with the outbreak of dengue fever in Latin America, may see developments around diseases borne of insect bites. We may also hear about the ill effects of microplastics, lead, and asbestos as a result of this conjunction. More generally: pollution, ocean, liquids, extremes of hot and cold, feelings of constraint (and literal constraint), and spiritual or emotional burnout. Pisces is a sign of inescapable enmeshment with each other, so we'll likely deal with compassion fatigue and emotional isolation (especially involving social media). Questions of whether or not something is "real" remain relevant as ever.
On the positive side, Mars-Saturn brings discipline and self-control. Sometimes Mars and Saturn can temper each other to give us self-sustaining focus. We can combine hard-won wisdom with the drive we need to achieve it, like a martial arts training montage. Do we have the belief and conviction to achieve mastery? With determination we can reach heights we once only imagined. There's also stamina, resilience, and rigidity. Overlapping with the Mercury retrograde, we can also see delays and obstructions. If there are boundaries you've been meaning to enact, now is the time. We can see potential pitfalls, but beware of pessimism and not believing in yourself. Resentment and pent-up anger can also come into play as Mars's impulse butts up against Saturn's inaction, but incremental progress adds up.
April 11th - Sun conjunct retrograde Mercury (Cazimi) This marks a turning point in the retrograde. Diana uses a spelunking metaphor: during the retrograde we're diving into the cave, and at the cazimi we've found our treasure...but we still have to make our way back out. Our personal eclipse stories may become clearer during this time as well.
April 19th - Sun enters Taurus, Retrograde Mercury conjunct Venus Venus will help sweeten communications during the last week of Mercury's regression.
April 20th - Jupiter conjunct Uranus This brings freedom, liberation, and sudden rapid growth--completely different from the Mars-Saturn activity earlier this month. This may also set us up for the Jupiter-Mars conjunction later this summer. The Uranus in Taurus story has brought labor organizing and unions to prominence, so expect those stories to intensify during this conjunction. General keywords: technological breakthroughs and scientific discoveries, sudden revelations and growth, revolutions, rupture, and unexpected shifts. This conjunction takes place every 14 years, so Chris expects new discoveries, optimism and "quantum leaps" or new precedents in some fields. In Taurus this is related to food and agriculture--in addition to new technologies we'll likely see further developments with the farmer's protests in India and Europe. Finance and money is another Taurus signification, so disruptions in banks & questions about decentralizing currency may arise. Freedom, rebellion, and general eccentricity become important. We'll feel like anything is possible, but in disregarding the rules and refusing to compromise we may make rash decisions.
The comet Pons-Brooks may also start to become visible during this time. It comes by about every 80 years and is named for its 18th century discoverers. Ancient literature on comets is similar to that of eclipse: an ominous phenomenon heralding the deaths of rulers and falls of kingdoms. However, they note the color and appearance as indicating some positive effects when associated with Jupiter, and the planets whose path it crosses are relevant as well. Pons-Brooks passes closely by the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, putting an exclamation point on the planetary significations.
April 23rd - Scorpio Full Moon
Tumblr media
We're finally out of eclipse season, so things are starting to calm down. However, this lunation (04♏) squares Pluto (02♒), bringing some conflict in. It'll be stabilizing, but not necessarily comforting. Acceptance is bittersweet medicine. The full moon illuminates the deep transformative experiences Pluto brings to the early degrees of fixed signs in our charts. We're really getting to the bedrock of things. When Venus enters Taurus she'll square Pluto, and Mars will trine Pluto when he enters Aries. With those personal planets in domicile, it'll feel like coming home, but home is a little different. Pluto will retrograde soon and Chris predicts this station will bring major events in AI and related technologies. Mars is also quickly nearing his conjunction with Neptune, bringing the weaponization of these technologies.
April 25th - Mercury stations direct
April 28th - Mars conjunct Neptune (typo in image) Aside from weaponization of AI and social media, Mars-Neptune also connotes the manipulation of reality for political purposes. Revealing that a shocking news story was actually false wont necessarily diffuse the feelings it arose. Even if it didn't happen, you may still hold resentment towards the wrong target. Think the "fog of war" or shadowboxing. Other keywords include conflicts in or about water, idealism & ideologically-charged conflicts, confusion, acid, corrosion, lethargy, sapped vitality, and unnecessary martyrdom.
April 29th - Venus enters Taurus She immediately squares Pluto. Venus in domicile brings us to the election for the month:
April 29th - Selected auspicious election (not pictured)
Tumblr media
Set the chart for about 12:55PM local time, which gets you Leo rising with the Ascendant ruler Sun in the 10th whole sign house in Taurus, where it's copresent with Jupiter, Uranus, and Venus. This chart is good for 10th house matters like career, reputation, social standing, overall life direction and accomplishing goals. The Moon is in Capricorn, applying to a trine with Jupiter, bringing support. Mercury has stationed direct, bringing us away from some of the delays and issues we experienced earlier. Even the Mars-Saturn conjunction is about as far away as we can get, and a day chart Jupiter conjunct Uranus brings creativity to our efforts. Diana associates the 10th house with the gestating parent and thus recommends doing something nice for your mom now.
April 30th - Mars enters Aries Entering firey and decisive Aries, Mars is no longer encumbered by slow Saturn and diffuse Neptune. This complete chapter change comes with a sextile to Pluto--the tone shift will feel like getting our oxygen back. This opens us up for a lot of quick movements through Aries and Gemini in May.

SATURN in PISCES One of the biggest astrological events of 2023 — come to think of it, of the past several years! — is about to happen. Saturn is moving into watery Pisces on Tuesday, March 7 for the first time in 30 years. And what does that mean exactly? The vibes: shifting. The implications: enormous. The showers citrus? This is everything you need to know about Saturn’s major movement into Pisces. In astrology, a planet’s nature is informed by its orbit. The faster a planet spins across the zodiac, the more “embodied” its influence on Earth. For example, the moon, which cruises across the sky every 28 days, impacts our rapidly fluctuating moods and emotions, while Mercury, with its zippy 88-day orbit, reflects our day-to-day communication and expression. Accordingly, all celestial bodies that sit within the asteroid belt (sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars) are considered “personal planets” Source: (https://www.thecut.com/2023/03/saturn-in-pisces-2023-astrology-transit-meaning.html) #mystique #spiritique #pisces #piscesseason #pisceszodiac #piscessun #astrology #Astrology101 #SATURNinPisces #PiscesInSaturn #Saturn #happyweekend #Weekend #repost @moonandcactus • @withregram Saturn transits Pisces So, about an hour after the Virgo Full Moon, Saturn, the planet of responsibility & hard work left Aquarius and entered Pisces. When Saturn was in Aquarius, we felt eager to rebel against society & think outside its norms. We wanted to work toward a better brighter future. And, if you remember, Saturn entered Aquarius in December of, (what I think was the worst year I ever lived through) 2020. Now that Saturn has left Aquarius, we’ve entered a beautiful new era! For the next 2-3 years our imagination stretches & our intuition heightens. Which can be extremely beneficial while we work hard toward our goals. It provides us with an opportunity to really expand our minds & go far beyond personal limitations. The downside to this transit is the inability to accept constructive criticism or even having a big need to be accepted/supported by others. *cont in the comments 1/2 https://www.instagram.com/p/Cpmhl7TyEMK/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Energy Update: March 2023
Tumblr media
March is a "1" Universal Month [3 (March) + 7 (2023) = 10 = 1+0 = 1] in a "7" Universal Year. 1 is the number of beginnings but this is a 10/1 - this is the type of beginning that only comes after great trials and hardships. Rejoice (in a way) - you made it to the other side. Maybe you even beat the bad guy. This is also signified through the astrology of the month as Saturn, our planet of responsibility transits from the fixed air sign of Aquarius into the mutable water sign of Pisces. This is a big gong crash that demarcates time as we experience it. Something is over. The Set Up
We begin the month with the Sun and Neptune in Pisces, Mercury and Saturn in Aquarius, Venus Jupiter and Chiron in Aries, Mars in Gemini, Uranus and the North Node in Taurus, and Pluto in Capricorn. All of our planets will travel in forward motion all month long - it is go time. We will experience a number of planetary ingresses this month, the most notable of which is the aforementioned switcharoo of Saturn from a sign that it traditionally ruled (Aquarius) to the utter wilds of Pisces. Saturn entered Aquarius on March 21, 2020 and has been a major player in the last three years of our life. Saturn is a planet that is already quite hidebound and it can become deeply locked into place when transiting a fixed sign. That so many of us were stuck at home for months as Saturn entered Aquarius was no coincidence. This transit is going to be a huge release of energy - circle 3/7/2023 on your calender.
Additionally, we experience the expected personal planetary movements. Our sun will enter Aries as the astrological year is reborn at the spring equinox on 3/20 and Venus enters her home sign of Taurus on 3/15. Mercury is moving fast and enters Aquarius on 3/2 and moves on to Pisces on 3/19. Additionally, after a full retrograde cycle, Mars enters Cancer on 3/25.
The Nitty Gritty
This is definitely a new beginning but it may happen in stages as the planets all step into place to play their parts. The lunar nodes are in play as those close-moving personal planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus) move along - the South node will be activated in trine as they transit Pisces and the North Node in conjunction as they continue on to transit Taurus during the spring. Some of us may be held back by the things that we haven't offloaded, if that's you - do the work and let that shit go.
Our big days are: 3/2, 3/6, 3/7, 3/20. 3/21, 3/25
Any one of these days are huge power days that can be harnessed for many types of magic. Do the work on yourself and the energy will be doubled. This is the planetary "right time" to make a change in your life (whatever that means for you). If you work with this energy and use it to your advantage, there is less chance that you will be at the mercy of it.
This is a month that sort of demands that you put one foot in front of the other, always moving forward, to do the work. But we may have less incentive as Saturn transits into Pisces.
Pisces is just so damn dreamy. And no, I don't mean it in a "He's a dreamboat" /hystericalscreaming sort of way. I mean in the chronically avoids reality by creating intricate fantasy worlds sort of way. That's all well and good if you're an author of any kind but if you're just a human and you are locking your Others in your stories, well, we know that can become problematic, right? Right?!? Saturn is a dose of realism that even a Pisces can't hide from. This could be a good thing. We all have seen the rise in "misinformation" (let's just through that whole thing into one big blob, I'm not even going to try and define it more - all mutable mush here) that Neptune has inspired through its Piscean travels these past years. But the people whose bubbles are about to get burst aren't going to be super happy about it. In Pisces season, it's really easy to get stuck in the mud. We can all get a little bit dysregulated when forced to confront the things that we are hiding from, so maybe cut the Others a bit of slack and we are all going to have to endure these transits. We are all travelers on this planet together even when we don't want to admit to it.
Venus, who is leading the way ahead of the Sun and Mercury at the moment, will start the month conjunct to Jupiter and Chiron in Aries and end the month conjunct with Uranus in Taurus. There is pain close to the surface but this time around it looks like it may be there to compel change. In between these, she meets up in conjunction with the North Node and we get a brief glimpse into eclipse season and her future retrograde cycle in July.
The Virgo full moon on 3/7 will bring in the energy of Uranus in Taurus and happen on the same day that Saturn enters Pisces. This is the perfect day to set intentions around making changes (Uranus) that will improve your life (moon in Virgo). Leave an offering to sky-daddy Saturn to add some extra oomph.
Stay aware of your actions around 3/12-3/14. People may be betting beyond their capacity (Jupiter conjunct Chiron) or a past indulgence may come back to bite you in the ass. Mars in Gemini is also square to Neptune in Pisces for the third and final time as part of his retrograde cycle. Have you learned to just own up to it and tell the truth yet? Nah, I didn't think so...
Mars in Gemini shirks his lessons, that's for sure. He seems to get away with it though, so?
The Sun and Mercury are involved, too. They may shine enough light on the situation to illuminate it despite Gemini and Pisces's best attempts at looking in the other direction. Beware the Ides of March? I've mostly just wanted to be able to say that but its also not wrong.
A story is coming unraveled. I hope that it's not one of yours. I'd watch the media around the middle of the month - there could be a big reveal (or two).
At the same time, Venus slips into Taurus which would normally come as a relief but the beginning of Taurus is pretty weighty at the moment. She immediately falls into a sextile with Saturn which is quite constraining and then meets up in conjunction with our North Node of fate. Normally the party begins when Venus enters Taurus but this transit may be quite austere in the beginning. You may what to keep an eye on expenses during this time - especially if you're prone to excessiveness in that regard.
Venus conjuncts the North Node on the new moon on the first full day of the astrological new year - this is highly auspicious, again, for intention setting on new beginnings. Harness the energy of the spring towards your new projects. Work with Sun magic or seed magic for enhanced effectiveness during this time.
A few days later, on 3/25, Mars ends his long stay in Gemini by entering Cancer. If you haven't managed it before now (I get it...no judgment, starting things can be hard) this is another chance to start again and set new intentions. It's spring - time to go and time to grow.
