#piplup is def a subtle shiny - i was so scared i'd reset over it - but i noticed RIGHT AWAY. still took extra precautionary measures -

SHINY STARTER PIPLUP....... HOLY MOLY. he showed up after only 1086 resets - in a 1/8192 game!!! i cannot believe this hunt went by as quickly as it did!!! yet another dream starter shiny target successfully met! :')

i'm literally so shocked that he sparkled so quickly. i decided to look for a shiny sinnoh starter in platinum version, since you can save right next to the selection screen, and it looks like that was a really good call!

i'm going to name this little one 'powder' eventually!
