my personal artwork for Phrixus' final moments. I'm quite proud of it despite a bit of jank here and there :)

This is mine! One of the twin Azems in my shared canon with my friend. The male is Phrixus and the female is Helle but because they look exactly identical both in body and soul only a few people such as Emet-Selch, Hyth can Venat can tell the two of them apart consistently.

Both of them were naturally gifted in creation magicks and had high levels of creativity which unfortunately resulted in them constantly creating havoc with Phrixus' concepts and Helle's "toys". Eventually their mess got so big the Azem at that time (Venat) had to step in. She took notice of them and took them away with their parent's consent to teach and raise them. Phrixus also was permanently censured by the convocation from creating new concepts and his existing ones placed in Pandaemonium.

Venat failed to mention which of the twins she had appointed as Azem leading to both of them handling the role at the same time without the rest of the convocation finding out for a very long time. In fact the only reason they eventually got caught was because they made a minor mistake on one occasion by attending the same meeting together. Phrixus was also given a set of convocation approved concepts by the convocation to use but it hasn't stopped him from bending the rules. Helle meanwhile had become a proud inventor of Ethyris's first guns and a creator of countless amount of weapon based concepts.

Both of them disappear sometime after the Final Days when the convocation suggested sacrificing the newly created lives to bring back their fellow people, Phrixus first and then Helle. (I do have lore about what happened to them during this time but it would be too long for this post). Post-sundering, Nowi inherits Phrixus' soul and Ari inherits Helle's. The canon then diverges based on who Hyadelyn finds first and chooses as the WoL.

You guys should tell me about your Azems while I'm stuck here at work. Just anything about them! Their names, what they like to do, did they ever make any concepts, who they loved, etc... Anything!

Hell, even just any Ancient OC's you might have. It doesn't necessarily have to be Azem!

Oh they definitely did stuff! They were still pretty wacky as Azem but they did learn how to channel most of their chaotic energy for good. The rest went into causing headaches for the entire conversation. (Esp Helle because she kept trying to flirt with emet)

Also Venat totally did that on purpose! She was deliberately vague about it because she fully intended to elect both of them. >:3

You guys should tell me about your Azems while I'm stuck here at work. Just anything about them! Their names, what they like to do, did they ever make any concepts, who they loved, etc... Anything!

Hell, even just any Ancient OC's you might have. It doesn't necessarily have to be Azem!
