Daniel, my beloved, you know people on that twitter website say I'm a beautiful princess defrocked of His grace and mercy, which I find quite interesting that mortals...what? that's not what 'disorder' means? ...they think I have a 'personality disorder'? No. Daniel, no, but it is understandable that your medical professionals think naively about vampire's nature. You see, we have a far better sense and control over our body fluids than that of human's, of whom also gave up upon phlebotomy since the last century, but as for vampires, for blood being the essential diet...love? Are you still listening? The point being that I'm confident in maintaining my homours and...Daniel! I must say I feel disappointed that you don't take this seriously enough since it's all so relevant- Daniel!

JUST WITHDREW FROM MY MATH CLASS TO JOIN THE MLT PROGRAM WOOHOO!
I'm registering for spring classes and was told by my advisor that I can join the MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) Program, and that the only math class they require is one that is two levels below the one I'm in
I was taking a super high level math class for no reason essentially ( ;∀;)
And! Until January I don't have any math classes to take, so I only have 3 classes to focus on now ヽ(。ゝω・)ノ☆
Ahh, I'm so happy!
(The only downside is I have to take a small phlebotomy certification course but veins have always been my worst fear since I was little T_T)

what's your writing process like! specifically, what made you first start standing in awe of death, and it's subsequent rewrite/recreation, trustfull
Oh gosh, what a long time ago that was, the beginning of SIAOD.
[this gets quite long, so, tucked under a readmore it goes]
If I recall the timing right, it was right after I'd finished reading Ajin, and right around the time I was...lets say slightly untethered. As in, periodically I'll acquire a close friend and hash out story ideas with them, and I tend to keep them within a certain wheelhouse, depending on the friend and their tastes. I don't do that as much, anymore, and certainly not that way either. (These days I'm much more likely to just explain out my idea and rubber duck a problem rather than do a proper back and forth).
Anyway, it was both the premise (immortal characters) of and the aesthetic (slight horror, body horror, sci-fi and experimentation themes) of Ajin that called to me and I essentially slapped it onto the fandom i was currently invested in. (I've done this also with Tokyo Ghoul, borrowing aspects of that and putting it on top of other fandoms.) I came up with the general plot (immortal!izuku + obsession + poor oversight from adults = horror and chaos) and then ran with it.
If you were around for that first month or two, you'll remember the updates for SIAOD were almost daily. when things were short and the idea fresh, i was writing and posting every day, then as things got more complicated it became every two or three days. the story grew and the further along i got, the more i had in mind, the more i had to work in and the more holes i came across.
as we eased from laceration to phlebotomy, things got more out of hand than i could really reign in. it's a somewhat common problem i have, biting off too much and posting it before i figure out some of the problems. it's a big reason why things hit a grind and then a stop for me. my largest WIPs almost all share that trait, where I'm struggling to figure out the next step to lead to the point where I'm trying to go.
so, i finished phelbotomy, began writing the sequel (euthanasia) and was massively disappointed with what i was coming up with. to the point that i had started posting and then removed it. i didn't like it. i wasn't going to keep it up.
and so, SIAOD fell into limbo. complex and interesting, it gathered people in and kept their interest, but it was, technically, unfinished.
and then Clementine came to visit.
i had, for a while, been considering a rewrite. its a natural thing, i think. rewriting a draft into something better is just a process of writing, one i kind of... skip over, for various reasons, but one that calls to me whenever i hit my brick wall. so, i wanted to rewrite SIAOD but better, you know? a more thorough storyline. a more complete plot. less outlandish crossover background nonsense, OCs that mattered, a story that was just as compelling as the original but could stand on its own.
and, with Clem as my sounding wall, i managed to work through the basic plot of the whole damn thing. all the twists. all the little loops. the beats that i wanted to hit and all of that. i had to hammer out smaller details, of course, but the overall story was discussed and dissected.
so i began to rewrite the fic into Trustfall. i kept the aesthetics of the naming (everything linked but along a different subject than SIAOD) and i kept some of the core elements (izuku's dad being a scientist, the eventual kiritodo relationship, izuku and katsuki's entirely unhealthy relationship) and i cranked up other parts. (terminal velocity quadrupled in size with the rewrite)
i still have some more to write, of course. I haven't finished it yet, but i wrote a damn lot so i decided to start posting it (and got a beta this time around, which is very nice, hello berg)
i wrote SIAOD because i liked the idea of Ajin!Izuku and the horrific implications therein. I wrote Trustfall because I saw the bones of SIAOD and i knew i could write something better, something more meaty than before. I still really want to finish it. I take the WIP document out and pick at it, dropping a few lines in it whenever i can, but I've always written according to my mood and interests. I write for pleasure, so as long as I'm enjoying it, I'll work on it.
i hope that answers your question, anon.

So you don't think Joel is a bad person for being selfish? Like is choosing person you love more than the world bad?
I don't think he's a bad person. He's a father who feels immense guilt for not being able to keep his daughter safe, then spent the next two decades keeping his brother and Tess safe, two areas he believes (and did) fail at again. He believes he is a bad person. And from the perspective in the game/show, he's justified. But if we followed Kathleen, we'd of course feel sympathy for her despite the terrible things she's done. He's capable of, and used to, inflicting brutality on others to get the job done, and it's been eating at him for years. He's not the patriot his brother is, and he doesn't trust the Fireflies. He doesn't believe the world is worth saving, it's just something to survive. But then Ellie is put into his care and he's forced to face all he's done, something he probably hasn't done since he and his brother split up in any thorough or meaningful way. Ellie brings out the good in him. She becomes his child and that fear he's been trying so hard to bury and not feel for so long is at the forefront. It's a world filled with death, corruption, and greed, and he's been a part of some of it, but not the worst of it (FEDRA, the Fireflies). He's tortured and murdered and raided but he's no David. And in the show I think it's important we see him take over for a woman when she can't dispose of the infected child’s body because he can and will do the hard things because he can, and to spare others (even if he's not even aware he's doing it). He protected that woman the same way he protected Tess by going with her to meet Bill and Frank (because she wanted a contact sure, but she wanted friends too), the same way he protected Sam and Henry despite his hate and distrust for FEDRA collaborators. The show does a fantastic job of expanding what he know about Joel and others’ lives, namely changing Bill and Frank to give them a MUCH happier ending than the game, without compromising what makes each character themselves. Joel believes he's a monster but he believes he can protect Ellie from monsters. That includes keeping from her the fact he essentially robbed the world of a potential cure, what she believes is her only purpose for being alive and having to suffer through losing Riley, surviving David, and having to kill. He's protecting her from the world, and from the truth of himself, while staying with her like she pleaded with him to.
Now the end of the game/show. He and Marlene are very similar. But where Marlene gave him the freedom to leave with his life and leave Ellie behind, I'm sure if he was in her place he would have killed her to ensure the surgery would never be compromised. My one issue with the entire story is that the Fireflies thought (desperation to save the world aside) that a vaccine could be made just like that. You need to prove immunity, which they did. You need to take samples (not just dissect the brain first thing), but phlebotomy and bone marrow samples aren't very cinematic. You need to test on animals, which they of course didn't have readily available, so they would have to test on humans. They would have to prove it works, otherwise why would Marlene feel confident in distributing it to anyone else? ALSO while FEDRA is almost totally nationally hated and mistrusted, for good reason, the Fireflies are largely seen as a terrorist group. Both sides have supporters and dissenters, but with FEDRA’s resources against the incredibly spread thin Marlene’s, who has a habit of being easily and critically injured, and historically makes bad deals and hires essentially mercenaries like Tess and Joel to ferry her priority asset cross country, how would she realistically safely manufacture and distribute enough vaccine to quell the infection? Even if she has a few people in every FEDRA zone armed with a blowdart and a syringe to administer it to random people, I don't see how a majority would accept a believed terrorist organization to come with open arms offering the cure for what destroyed the world. We've already seen it's on sight for known Fireflies. They're executed in public. Those executioners are not going to readily clasp arms with those they execute. Did Ellie need to die to create a vaccine? Maybe. But did she need to die to gain a single sample? No.
Was Joel thinking about any of that when he realized Ellie was going to die any minute? No. He just knew he had to save her, because he loves her and he knows she needs him (likely less than he needs her).
So I believe Joel is selfish, but not an inherently bad person. Using that logic, you could say Ellie is bad for cleaving David into mush and leaving Sam to turn, or that she's selfish for asking Joel to take her to the university instead of Tommy, because she loves and trusts Joel. They are deeply flawed but not evil.
Would Ellie have gone along with Marlene if Marlene was honest about what they were doing and what that meant for Ellie’s life? I think so. Is it bioethically moral to lie to a child about what creating a miracle vaccine meant? No.
And I think it's important they don't ignore the cycle of vengeance and its pitfalls. Someone hurts Kathleen’s people, she hunts them down and destroys them until she is destroyed. Someone hurts Joel’s people, he hurts them. And then you get the second game.
I don't think he's bad, but choices have consequences. I think he's doing what anyone does in a survival situation, you hold onto and protect who you love with everything you have. His world is Ellie.

Healthcare Certification Options: Which Path is Right – Online or Off-line?
The healthcare industry is one of the most dynamic growing sectors in the world, offering a wealth of openings for professionals seeking a stable and satisfying career.
As the demand for professed healthcare workers continues to rise, carrying an instrument has come a pivotal step for anyone looking to enter the field or advance their current position. One of the most significant opinions when pursuing a healthcare career is choosing between online and offline( in- person) options.
Both formats have unique advantages and downsides, and opting for the right one depends on your particular preferences, learning style, and professional needs.
In this post, we’ll explore the pros and cons of both online and offline learning avenues to help you decide which path would suit you.
Advantages of Online Healthcare Certification Programs
1. Flexibility and Convenience:
Flexibility and convenience are key benefits of studying healthcare online.
With no set class times, learners can study whenever it’s most convenient for them. And with the presence of digital platforms like Quick Health Certified, this flexibility makes it easier for working professionals or busy individuals to earn healthcare certifications without disrupting their daily lives.
Cost-Effective:
Online healthcare certification programs are a budget-friendly choice. Without the costs of travel, housing, or campus fees, students can save money. Many programs also offer flexible payment options and financial aid, making it easier to afford the education. This cost-effective approach helps students earn their certifications without taking on too much debt.
Wide Range of Specializations:
Online education opens doors to a variety of healthcare specializations. From nursing to medical assistant to healthcare administration, online platforms give students a chance to pursue the field of their choosing – an option that may not be physically feasible.
For instance, say there’s someone – who’s interested in dentistry – wishes to get certified in that field, but the local community college doesn’t offer such specializations.
At times like these, he or she can opt for programs like dental assistant bootcamp that’ll allow them  to pursue their interests without being bound to geographical limits.
Self-Paced Learning:
Among the best things online programs offer is the chance to do self-paced learning.
This is particularly enticing to those who prefer to take their time to digest a topic completely, and also for those who may want to accelerate their studies by progressing through the course material within a short period.
Advantages of Offline (In-Person) Healthcare Certification Programs
Hands-On Training:
Numerous healthcare practices, such as nursing, phlebotomy, or lab technicians bear hands- on clinical training that’s not always feasible online.
In- person programs give access to laboratory installations, clinical simulations, and supervised practice, which are essential for learning the chops necessary for patient care.
Direct Interaction with Instructors:
In a traditional classroom setting, students have immediate access to the instructors for guidance. This can be particularly helpful for learners who prefer real-time, face- to- face communication. Where instructors can offer real- time feedback, answer questions, and give individualized support.
Networking Opportunities:
Offline programs frequently produce a sense of community among scholars and faculty, furnishing openings for networking, collaboration, and professional connections. numerous in- person programs are associated with hospitals, conventions, or healthcare institutions, allowing scholars to develop connections that may lead to job placements after scale. .
Structured Learning Environment:
For some scholars, the structured schedule of an in- person program provides the discipline and responsibility necessary to stay on track. The set schedule and routine of attending classes can help motivate scholars who might struggle with time operation in a more flexible, online setting.
Choosing the Right Path for You
When deciding between an online or offline healthcare program, there are several factors to consider – Learning Style: Do you prefer tone- directed study, or do you thrive in a structured, interactive terrain? – Program Conditions: Does the instrument you’re pursuing bear hands- on training, similar as clinical practice or lab work? – Time Commitment: Can you commit to attending classes at a set time, or do you need the inflexibility of online courses? – Budget: How important are you willing to invest in your instrument, including implicit trip, accommodation, or technology costs? – Learning pretext: Are you seeking a technical instrument that may only be available online, or do you need original clinical experience?
Eventually, your choice between online and offline instrument programs will depend on your particular and professional circumstances. Both options offer valid paths to success in the healthcare field, so it’s important to choose the bone that aligns with your pretensions, schedule, and learning preferences.
 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
