CUDDLEFISH. Please, I beg. I want to know about the cuddlefish army they are probably building.

Also, how do they finally meet back up? In the post I saw it sounded like they checked out each others’ lifepods at about the same time, thus totally missing each other. Did they at least notice the clues that might mean the other is alive? Or are they oblivious and upset until running into each other by happenstance one day?

(In the development phase of Subnautica the bulb bushes were called Koosh Bushes or something similar… Dan makes so many weed jokes about it it’s not even funny anymore (until it loops back around to being hilarious))

Oh my god they ABSOLUTELY have so many cuddlefish it's ridiculous. Dan finds like one egg meanwhile Phils got 5 following him about 😭😭 they're very loved and get lots of treats nod nod yes ofc.

I've just wrote about how they meet back up here ! TLDR, they know there's atleast one other survivor because of the Warper message after the Sunbeam goes down saying 2 instead of 1, but they acc meet because Dan comes across Phil's very much functional base and he waits inside to see if whoever's staying there comes back - Phil does obv come back, tearful reunion ensues, immediately attatched at the hip :3
