To celebrate the release of my Mysterious Joker × Twisted Wonderland fan fiction story, Miracle Maker In Twisted Wonderland, I decided to make this tag/drawing challenge where artists draw their TWST OCs or Yuu/MC character(s) as Phantom Thieves!

These drawings will be in the form of character cards. Here are the background pictures for the R and SR cards (if you want to draw your character as an SSR card, then you can draw your own background for it)

Your characters' outfits must be based on other phantom thieves (or regular thieves) outfits. But the character you based your outfit on don't have to be from Mysterious Joker (for example: Kaito Kid from Magic Kaitou 1412, or Sampo Koski from Honkai Star Rail)

Here are some phantom thief outfit examples from Mysterious Joker:

The outfits color scheme must be the same as your OC's dorm color scheme. But if you're doing a Yuu/MC character, then you can do whatever color scheme you want.

You may give your character a mask or monocle to wear on their face.

You can draw more than one character for this challenge. But please post them separately.

If your Yuu/MC character(s) are from different fandoms, you are still allowed to do a drawing of them.

You are allowed to make a drawing of canon TWST characters for this challenge.

You are allowed to draw groovy versions of your cards.

Yuu Fenton, half-ghost, half therapist, fully done with everything

Keeps their powers as low-key as possible, mostly put of habit.

Ramshackle really is the ghost Dorm.

Only one fully alive resident, probably.

Everyone can tell something's weird with the prefect, but everyone here's a freak so...

And before you ask "why don't they use the ghost zone to get home" they tried, and somehow any portal connecting home just isn't there? Like, what?

Even the science made portals are just inaccessible

Which just puts inviso-bill on edge

The first time they full stop transform is during Vil's overblot

Being a ghost makes poison gas pretty... ineffective, to say the least

They aren't above using their ghost powers to get out of situations

Floyd is looking for them? Invisible.

Scarabia locked them in a room because Jamil's evil or something? Intangible people don't need doors that open.

Leona's being extra snippy? Ghost laser to the back

Azul wants them to commit a museum heist? Yawn, been there, done that

Vil wants to make them do posture practice or something? Come get them (They're flying above the school)

OG Ortho's ghost is trying to get Ortho 2.0 and Idia to destroy the world or something? Get in the thermos

I've mentioned a few times that Yuu is inspired by mickey, especially, Mickey from Epic Mickey.

So, the reason Yuu is in Twisted Wonderland and being alive,(IDK the specifics because we don't know how cannon Yuu got to twisted wonderland) and why they came back from the dead

How this works specifically works similar to Blot spirits and how the blot's ink mixed with Mickeys ink in Epic Mickey, more specifically

Also, I like to imagine there are instances were a blot spirit fights for control of the main body.

Also, this is my partial explanation why my Yuu oc is able to see Mickey in the mirror and why they have the prophetic dreams. Partially because their from another world (I cant remember were Other explains how that worked, I just know he made a good explanation) but also, because their soul isn't to tethered to their body. This was because when talking to mickey about the dreams and his experience in his dream, he talks about how he could see himself sleeping and go into the mirror like in the through the looking glass short. Yuu can also comments "Like a ghost?". Might also explains this since Mickey can only communicate through the mirror when he is asleep.

With all that, I like the idea of Yuu being more...phantom blot like, or the ink like blot being more fused with their body (The best example I can think of is like the ink from Bendy and the Ink Machine)

I had the idea of them being able to absorb blot since the phantoms that appear when a person over blots consume the blot the caster makes, hence why the can shoot off massive spells (Which isn't good for their health but so is the blot). So, I like the idea of Yuu over the years taking advantage of this change in their body to absorb the blot from their friends pens or body so they don't have to worry about overbloting to much. But, if they take too much blot, they can turn to ...well

but if Yuu doesn't have enough blot, they start to deuterate or sluggish at the least

I got this idea from concept are and the beta trailer from when Micky would use all his ink and be left with this

Okay, so....

Generally, you're not supposed to repeat similar poses like this too close together because it'll eventually lose its impact on the readers. (Kinda like how writers shouldn't overuse italics or exclamation points for the same reason.)

But can we appreciate that Katsura Hoshino discovered she had a new superpower here and was clearly having the time of her life with it? Otherwise why else would she have drawn this similar shot like six+ times over the course of this arc?

It's been over a decade since these chapters were published and I still love the hell out of this.
