I also need the fans who are supporting Owen and pH-1 to realize this is not cultural divide.

Owen has lived in New Jersey since he was a child and is fluent in English.

pH-1 has lived in New York since he was a child. He even went to Boston College and graduated. He is also fluent in English.

If you are a big fan of these men, I would expect you to know this information. They both have even released music in fully fucking English.

Owen knows what he did was wrong. He just doesn't care. It took him 4 years to even apologize. Which is shameful and embarrassing. As for pH-1 the controversy surrounding him is his support of Owen. His failure to cut off contact with a man who is a known racist, sexist, misogynist and just an overall disgusting and despicable person. It's not hard to cut off someone and label them a former friend. If someone I knew said the shit that Owen has said, I wouldn't want to be their friend. I don't want that type of energy around me. That makes me look at pH-1 with a side eye.

Cause why are you okay with this behavior?

Why isn't this behavior a reason to cut someone out of your life?

What is your ultimate limit then pH-1?

What's even more shameful is that these men talk about how much they love hip hop, but then go on to disrespect the people who created it. Owen has been over. His career has no recovery. The man can't even appear on Korean Television. As for pH-1 he has now just lost a huge number of his international fans. Cause lets be honest, that is who most of his fans are. He isn't popular in South Korea. He is known because he collaborates with other Korean rappers and singers. He is recognizable because of Jay Park and H1ghr Music. The music he releases by himself and has no feature, does not do well.

This just left a stain on pH-1 and he will never be able to get rid of it.

Damn I wonder what the future holds for H1ghr. After Jay left it feels like everyone is leaving. And is cha cha still the sole ceo? Ph-1 posted the H1ghr logo on his socials, what does that mean? Do you think the label will eventually dissolve?

I was thinking that because it seems like so many people have left in such a short time but after looking at their current roster, they still have quite a few people.

I think it's just a lot less common for people to stay with labels long term now and that's why we're seeing so many people leave h1gher. Indigo has a track record of a lot of original members leaving too. P Nation also. Even in kpop we have YG, when their company used to have people stay FOREVER lol.

I'm not really sure what Ph-1 posting that meant but I think it could just be him just showing his commitment to h1gher like "I'm still here. Don't plan on leaving" but I've seen others speculate that maybe Ph-1 will be a co-ceo. I really don't know cause it was just too vague lol.

I think h1gher still has a few years left in it. There's always gonna be someone who wants to join h1gher because their legacy is just so big now. I'm sure there's still a lot of rappers whose dream is to be signed to h1gher, especially to work with Cha Cha and Hwimin as producers and then Ph-1 or Big Naughty as a featuring artist. I think as long as some combination of those 4 are around then H1gher should be fine. But if we start seeing them leaving too THEN it's time to get scared LOL
