anyway I can get lyrica for free at the hospital clinic I go to on account of being poor & all that, I just have to do a drug test first bc it's a controlled substance

both bc afaik there is no drug test for pregabalin itself, so it's not that they would think I was drug seeking to get high directly— it's def all to penalize other drug users & forbid them from… treating fibromyalgia while also liking to get high wuth unrelated drugs

based on the ofc flimsy idea that it would be ~just in case~ I was "stealing" this completely non-scarce medical resource to sell these pills to… somebody in the nonexistent street lyrica market, I guess (and I've heard OF them being used recreationally, but only in countries where generics are cheaply available, and literally only because it's there & it's cheap) & then either profiting on the government's dime or using the money to buy different drugs

which is some very galaxy brained "counting chickens before they hatch" hypothetical thinking tbh, bc junkies or not, people do deserve medical care, esp if they had to jump through 15 million hoops & prove and/or earn eligibility to get it in advance

I'm broke & really not convinced people faking neuralgic pain are gonna go for the long con with a fibromyalgia diagnosis & seek non-euphoric non-narcotic drugs you can buy in bulk online for 1/5 of what pfizer's charging, but hey!! what do I know lol!!
