Thinking back to how my original idea for Catherine was as a Csm oc back when chapter 161-162 were new; the stitches fiend! Whose power is to stitch together people's severed body parts and restore them to perfect health regardless of how guresome the injury was, so long as the person is still alive to some extent.

I ended up not doing anything with the idea back then because i was like "Carol you barely care about csm part 2, don't make another oc for a manga you only mildly enjoy" and you know what? I'm so glad i did that because i enjoy Catherine infinitely more as a weird ass nurse in termina than a part 2 oc

#and as you can tell. i repurposed a handful of the ideas i had for the stitches fiend on standard Catherine #for once. the final skill on her skilltree of stitching people's limbs back comes from the fiend idea #but the fiend also had a mask on most of the time and two lines going from her eyes to the bottom of her jaw w stitches over it #which were turned into the engrave scars on Cathy's face because that was the most striking part of the design to me #other than that i think she dressed the same as the doctors in those chapters + her hair was straight instead of wavy/curly?#i don't really know what Cathy's hair texture is. the lines have gotten wigglier everytime i draw her #personality wise she is largely the same? i think she was sillier as a fiend. as a termina oc she's more spiteful and mean #hyena ramblings #termina 1st round #fear and hunger oc #Catherine winfried
