The cause

Getting your hair and makeup done was boring, but Riki came along every time (wether you asked him to or not) so at least he was there to keep you company

Riki and Jake both sat on the couch showing each other stupid things on there phones and play fighting

At one point you and Riki had gotten into a conversation Mainly complaints from you about how unfair the manager was to you about dieting, Riki being Riki took this as a chance to make a joke. "Well maybe you should stop eating so much and he wouldn’t be so tough on you" He laughed, pretty loudly despite the joke not being funny, you looked at him through the mirror, almost disgustedly, just to see Jake not laughing either.

If anything he looked just as confused as you, but despite that Riki smoothly changed the subject and started joking around with Jake again. You turned back to the mirror, not looking at anything in it, simply spacing out. Riki had never made those types of jokes about you, he always talked about your body in such a sweet way, it was shocking to say the least.

2. The start

Workday was done, you were back at the dorms, and Riki was nowhere in sight.

He was probably in his room playing video games, as you could tell from the loud gun noises. Meanwhile, you sat in your room, confused and slightly heartbroken he would say something like that.

It had been hours since the incident and it’s all you’ve thought about. Riki, out of all people should know that wasn’t funny. Joke or not. Out of all people, HE would know about your image issues HE would be the one to know about your eating habits, The phone chimed, pulling you out of thought, it was Riki

"Babbbbyyyyyy can i come lay with you

i’m tired and i want to hold you" You wanted to say no fuck off but you didn’t, that would’ve been too straight forward and you wanted to be petty and drag it out. Make sure he felt realllllyyyy bad so you texted back "Not rn, i’m studying" Dry and assertive. Not at all how you text him usually, it was perfect !! "mmm okay :("

"can i come in after?? pretty plsss" You just ignored this one

It made you feel a litttlee guilty but he deserved it for being an ass

3. The rising emotions / tension

It had been 2 days since you've started ignoring Riki (kinda)

You were only answering his texts here and there and you hadn't let him sleep with you not even once.

Sure it was only 2 days but it was too much for him, he got used to sleeping with you, and he struggles to fall asleep without you now! You even locked the door just in case he tried to come in after being ignored over the phone

Riki started to get suspicious

He presumed the worst, you fell out of love, you were cheating, he did something wrong without realizing it, he didn't know what he did, but he intended to find out

But it's kinda hard when you won't stop dodging him

Night 3 of being ignored, and it got increasingly harder for him to sleep

It was 1am and he hadn't been able to properly keep his eyes shut for longer than 5 mins so he decided to get some water

When he walked out to the kitchen he saw you, wearing only his t-shirt, some shorts and a jacket

He loved seeing you in his clothes so it was like a jab to the heart

he almost got on his knees and started begging for forgiveness for whatever he did right then and there

"What are you doing up so late baby?" You looked up to see him walking towards you "Just getting some water"

"Ohh me too" It came out kind of shaky sounding, like he was trying to make small talk with a stranger

"Here have mine" Putting the glass down you started to walk off, not noticing Riki's hand reaching out for your wrist, just barely missing you.

While you went back to your room Riki sat in the kitchen kind of hurt.

He pondered on going after you but the last thing he wanted to do was annoy you or upset you more so despite the need for physical connection, he drank the water and went back to his room.

He laid in bed for another hour before giving up and playing some video games to pass the time

Riki got a solid 3 hours of sleep that night

Riki is dying and is determined to figure out what he did

4. The climax

Day 4 of being ignored, he felt like he was going to pull all his hair out

During dance practice he thought of every thing he did that could warrent this type of reaction and every way he could fix it

After thinking for a while he came to the conclusion that he must've made you jealous, probably from talking to Danielle for 0.2 seconds regarding work things

How? He had zero clue but that didn't matter.

After practice while everyone else went to lunch, he booked back home to shower and head out. He ran to your favorite cafe, and your favorite boba shop.

By the time he got back home, everyone else, including you, were back home, and he already thought about what he was going to say when he got back; sure you had gotten jealous before but it never seem to make you this upset so he had to go all out this time.

He knocked on your bedroom door, hoping you'd actually let him in this time, "who is it?"

"Riki" There was a moment of silence that made Riki worry even more but you told him to come in so he was relieved but, you were confused when he walked in with boba and bags.

You thought maybe he was finally apologizing, perhaps he finally realized what he did and wanted to own up to it.

You put down your phone and walked over to him, as he put the boba and bags on your desk. He seemed a little more nervous the closer you got but he took a deep breath in and started talking

"I know I messed up, and you don't have to forgive me but I want to make it right." Good start good start

"I don't want anyone but you baby, I mean I barely even talk to her. It was purely for work I promise." Huh

"But I completely understand your upset, and you have every"

"What" You cut him off mid-sentence, mainly just cause you were confused

"uhh what?" Riki though, seemed more confused than you

"What are you on about Nishimura"

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, you're mad at me?"

"Obviously."

"And I'm trying to apologize?" He seemed unsure of himself

"Okay... for what?" He thought long and hard about his answer "Talking to Danielle the other day?..." DUMBFOUNDED

You couldn't believe that's what he genuinely thought you were upset about

"Bro I do not care about Danielle." emphasizing the "not"

Riki's eyes widened with confusion "Haha what."

"You didn't seriously think I was upset about you talking to Danielle? About work?" He gave a sheepish smile

"I'm sorry baby I really don't know what I did but I can NOT handle being ignored like this."

"The eating joke Riki. How do you not understand that, that wasn't okay." It's like the gears started turning in his head "OHHHHH"

You rolled your eyes "Oh my god baby I am so sorry."

"You laughed when other people make those jokes so I assumed it was okay..."

"No it's not okay Riki?? I only laugh because they're my bosses, I'm not allowed to be upset about it"

It took Riki a second to process and think, "I know I know, I'm realizing that now. Seriously I am so sorry baby... I clearly wasn't thinking it through and it was a horrible joke to make."

You nodded, verbally telling him to go on

"You don't have to forgive me, I know it was shitty but just know that I didn't mean it, baby."

He walked closer to you, putting his hands on your face, "You are the prettiest girl in the entire world, and I mean that. I never meant to hurt you that much baby, and I promise I won't ever make a joke like that again. And I'll think more thoroughly about the things I say, the last thing I want to do is upset you pretty."

You looked up at him, your eyes glossed over slightly.

What Riki did was wrong, but deep down a part of you knew he didn't mean it.

And he was so good at making you feel better.

You got on your tippy toes and kissed him.

It was deeper than usual, the lack of time together made it sweeter

Riki pressing into your lips and savoring every last second.

"I love you so so so so much."

"I love you too Ki. And I'm not mad at you, it just... was shocking? To say the least, I didn't expect it from you of all people, nor did I expect you to take 4 days to apologize" You smiled slightly

"But in the end, you did apologize and you took accountability so that's all that matters. Next time I'll come to you first without ignoring you for days, it was petty."

"No no it wasn't petty" He rubbed your cheek "But please don't do it again, iv got like a solid 10 hours of sleep the past few days and I almost threw myself off the HYBE building." You giggled at that, happy to hold him again

Riki went back in for another kiss which led to a long night of catching up.

Kissing, cuddling, "I love you"s, ect ect, gross couple stuff.

Riki was dumb sometimes and wasn't the best at using his words, but he always tried for you and even showed it in his own way and that's all that matters.

Bakugo x Support Course Shoto's Twin Sister Reader (Part 6)

Summary: ANGST. Bakugo and Y/n get into fight, and Shoto and Y/n have a forgiveful talk.

This is more written from Shoto's perspective.

*Little Heartstopper reference*

Shoto can't remember when Y/n and Bakugo became Y/n & Bakugo. But Bakugo was there when his selfishly enraged self couldn't. So, in Shoto's book, Bakugo was alright.

The first time he saw Bakugo and Y/n interact was when the blonde scolded her for throwing the 1st challenge race at the sports festival.

Even after she made a big impression with her gear, she stopped right before the finish line. Making an even bigger impression on support companies for letting others have their moment.

Shoto never really looked to see who she'd talked to, afterall he wasn't on good terms with his twin, so he knew not to dwell into her life. So he was a bit puzzled seeing you together. You looked so relaxed, so free.

Both born from the same star, yet he thought you shined so much brighter. Instead of obeying the path Endeavor wanted, you made your own. While he took the road of driven resentment. Only recently did he start to feel bad for getting upset at you using your quirk and loving dad.

The more Shoto saw you and Bakugo, whether in the halls, at lunch, or chatting in the support classroom, the more envious he felt. He wanted to talk to you like that too, but you always seemed a shoulder's length away.

It wasn't until Bakugo got kidnapped where Shoto really saw you for the first time. Your hair turned red with anger, pushing Shoto to tell you what the hell happened at camp. For the first time, he felt scared you were going to break.

You ended up coming along to the rescue mission. Despite the group's protest, a quick threat to burn them alive shut them up enough to convince them you'll keep up. No wonder you're Bakugo's closest friend.

That day, you guys genuinely got closer; you even shared a laugh as you ridiculed his disguise. In the end, he was kinda glad Bakugo got kidnapped cause at least he had a minute with you. He was even more glad to see you around the dorms after the move. But then again, it was always for Bakugo, but you'd occasionally walk up to talk to him.

Then the license exams came, which he and Bakugo failed. The same day, you showed up to the dorms scouring for the news, which ultimately ended in a fight between Bakugo and you. Wounds were definitely opened for both of you.

"You don't get it, Y/n! You wasted your potential the second you decided you wanted to be tech support! Dont give me pity for shit you can't begin to understand!" Bakugo screams but then freezes as if he knew the words he spilled weren't true; not for him and certainly not to you.

But it was too late; lines were crossed.

"Well, luckily, I don't need your reassurance. I know what I'm doing is not wasted.

Remember, I'm the one that spilled my sweat, brains, and time just so you can go play hero.

News flash, heroes that seek for glory almost inevitably end up mistreating the ones around them, most definitely civilians. That's why you failed. No one to blame but your selfish ego, Katsuki.

You want to be a showboat hero? Fine. But don't EVER disrespect the people who helped you along the way." Y/n spat back, making sure she dug the knife as deep as he did.

And like that, he was gone. He stomps echoing the hallway, leaving you in the common room with your brother.

"Y/n?" Shoto asked a little concerned after witnessing the whole thing. Luckily, most of his classmates were off to bed from exhaustion and didn't witness the fight.

If they did hear it, they sure as hell won't ask; Bakugo is very sensitive at the moment.

"I'm alright, Shoto. Did you pass your exams?" You ask dull tone face, now wearing the same stoic face you use at home.

"No."

"Oh. Are you okay?" You asked with your concerned attention turned to him instead of the situation with the blonde. Selfless even when you're hurting, too.

"Not entirely, but no worries. I'll manage." He said in a defeated tone. He wondered if you would've excelled far better than him. He sure you would've been more selfless than the way he acted.

"Y/n, I'd like to apologize." He blurts out almost desperate to get off his chest. Your eyes widen in surprise of his outburst. You struggle to get words out.

"You didn't deserve how I treated you when we were younger. I'm sorry for my actions, I was in a place of anger and resentment, not even towards you, but I'm actively trying to get out of it." He says, bowing his head down.

"Shoto, it's okay I-"

"No, it's not. You're too kind. To Fuyumi, Natsuo, Me, and even Bakugo just now. We've all wronged you, and yet you don't push us away. You have every right to be angry. So please be angry for once." He says, almost raising his voice. Only when looking up at you does he stop.

Your hair is now white tufts popping out against the black, icicles forming around your eyes and in your hair. He's only seen this once, and it when you begged dad not to be a hero. You looked so much like Touya then.

"I can't." You say almost in a sob.

"I can never be angry at any of you. I defend myself, sure, but it always ends up making me feel worse about the situation.

I love you guys, so much. But I know that who I am, the version of myself I'm most content with... just doesn't fit into the picture." You say with tears streaming down your face. Almost falling down to your knees if it weren't for him running to hold you up.

"I'm sorry we've made you feel like you can't be yourself. I've seen the way you act around Bakugo when you think others aren't looking.

Or how lucky your friends are to see you laughing, almost seeing your hair turn to your red from how comfortable you are. I want that for you.

Please, be yourself when you're with me. And I'll make sure others don't treat you any differently. I'm sure the others feel the same, though." He says, pouring out his observations of you at school.

"You think so?" you sniffle, the strong appearance you've held on to for so long finally broke open, revealing the same little girl that just wanted her family to love her.

"You can send us all to the earth's core your quirk if I'm wrong." He says. You let out a weak but genuine laugh.

"Pft, that's funny. I didn't know you could joke like that Shoto"

"What joke?"

person who is sooooo normal about ray talks about the end of episode 10, what it confirms, what it introduces, and what it may even promise:

"can you please forgive me?"

starting off with this line.... there is a specific brand of betrayal and hurt reserved for the people who feel like the only ones in the world that can make you feel loved. we've seen ray get angry and even lash out at the other characters before but we haven't seen him breakdown the way he did in the sandray apartment fight. i think i took ray saying that he finally was starting to understand his feelings more in episode 9 too lightly, because it seems he meant more then just "i think i like you too" kind of thing, i wouldn't be surprised if ray realized the love he felt as well, and not just romantic love but the "you've seen so much of the ugliness in me but still stayed" kind of love and, if im gonna be bold, acceptance.

"you can be angry or hate me all you want"

lines like this tell me two things, the first being the guilt ray feels over the way he treats people and the second being how much pain he thinks he deserves for it. though i will say this time it feels different then in episode 4 where ray asks sand to call him a burden, because before he wanted sand to hurt him back (a bit of retaliation a bit of self-harm even) but this time he is asking for sand's understanding and forgiveness. he still thinks he deserves it, but now its more then just asking for someone to hurt you in order to reconcile (we will get to the fact sand isn't really there don't worry) there is a sort of emotional growth is what im trying to say.

"i know now that you want nothing from me"

this is also such a huge line for me. we know ray views himself as worthless, he would rationalize why anyone would want him (this is why he was so hurt about sand accepting money from his dad but that's already been meta'd to death so i won't get into that), so him not only thinking but verbalizing that sand is someone who is kind to him without expecting anything in return is huge for ray's ability to see himself as more than a burden or his father's money. in fact, i'd say him admitting this here means he is already beginning to gain a sense of self-worth.

"though i've been nothing but an asshole to you, you are always there for me"

this is the part where we really see ray break. im not good at reading other people's emotions so im not gonna comment on what emotions the actor is trying to portray (tho he is portraying some big ones goddamn), from a text stand point, im interpereting this as pain. I talked before a bit about guilt but i'd say at this moment the realization that someone can care for him so deeply that the parts of himself he's sure are not only unlovable but hurtful won't drive them away, causes him a lot of pain. as someone who is bad feeling cared for or appreciated as a person and sometimes acts like a dick about it, i too would break apart at this moment.

"please understand me"

now this is the line that inspired this post in the first place. he struggles with the connections he has with others but you can see how lonely this man is. like he has been told he is a burden, he interperets his life events and the way other people treat him as proof he is fundamentally unlovable and bad luck for anyone he gets close to, and he is a self-fulfilling prophecy about it.

when he asks sand to understand him he's asking sand to look deeper then his self-sabotoging and attachment issues and see the love and care he has that he struggles to understand and feel and express. he is filled with so much pain how could it not start to infect everyone around him, but from what we see of him, he probably never wanted to hurt other people in this way to begin with.

i think the reason this line specifically broke my heart is that, so much of his behavior at times can be interpreted as a subconscious cry for help, help he won't except but help he needs anyway. i knew any arc involving ray addressing his addiction would destroy me because there is the pain experiencing the things i mentioned above, the pain in thinking you're helpless to them, and then the pain in doing what it takes to try to move forward from them, like this shit is hard. the clarity ray is able to adress imaginary sand with is so incredible even though its in his head, especially given how stubborn he'd been about admitting any issues in the first place.

"being with me requires some patience"

all that i said above and more... i don't think ray will get over that feeling of being a burden any time soon if he ever does because it becomes so ingrained in your worldview and the way you interpret other people's behavior. i like the way this line is phrased (i know its a translation but still) because it alludes to him feeling that he is capable of being loved, it'll be hard but not impossible.

"but if you don't want to put up with me anymore, that's alright. i get you"

remember how i just said i think he now believes he's lovable... well actually i still mean it. he's been constantly told and shown how his behaviour and mentality are hard to deal with, like he thinks his existence is so burdensome it killed his own mother BUT he now knows sand is different. he won't blame sand for not wanting to deal with him, he's always been aware of his shortcomings but can now honestly address the effect his actions have on others, and at the same time he knows that its possible to care for him.

this is why i think sand is his motivation for going to rehab, he's shown ray what is possible for him in ways no one else before sand has.

"but please know this"

there is something so special about the impact sand has had on ray that i think goes beyond their relationship. sand made ray see the value in having a future, in being loved, in being happy. in episode 8 ray tells sand that he's finally happy when they spend time together, and it may seem like he's repeating it here but again this sand is imaginary. he's not saying this to get sand to answer his texts or hang out with him. he's imagining his reason for wanting to recover from addiction. like the weight this scene carries at least triples for me everytime i remember sand isn't really there. this was such a beautiful choice to make imo like ray saying these things to sand would probably be good for their relationship but it wouldn't have the same impact on ray's character arc.

my conclusion is once again don't know why i rambled on besides, ray as character was manufactured in a lab to drive me insane. like i've triggered my mood disorder twice over the course of watching this show but i wouldn't take it back for even a second. i love ray, i love what we've seen of his mentality and backstory, i love that we're seeing him making the decision to address his addiction, i go numb with the thought of where his arc will go next, but i especially love seeing everyone come together to scream about this character that means so much to me (not at all subtle reference to the fact i've read hurt and grieve but don't suffer alone by @jgyapologism what three? times now) anyway hope we all continue to scream about him this week. 🫡🫡

I saw many hates towards Kuai Liang for mistreated Cyrax and blamed her for something that's she doesn't know, but I will explain you the relationship between them.

After Bi-han betrayal to him and Tomas, Kuai Liang mentioned that's Cyrax and Sektor loyalty to Bi-han is absolute then him, So they won't listen to him other than follow him.

As Tomas mentioned that's the Lin Kuei won't help them to defeat Titan Shang Tsung because Bi-han has corrupted them.

"But they have at least say something to the old clan rather than leaving without any words."

They are one of the people who were involved at the mission to defeat Titan Shang Tsung, they didn't have the time to ruture back to the Lin Kuei for explanation, Even if this happens after Bi-han betrayal, they may won't listen to them.

Now in Khaos Reigns, When the Lin Kuei crushed Kuai Liang's wedding, after Harumi saved Kuai Liang from taking him to the Lin Kuei by Cyrax, Kuai Liang revealed the truth about Bi-han, let their father d1e, broke his sacred oath, and sided against earthrealm, he even point at his scar who made by Bi-han and asked who is responsible for this, after she defeated Bi-han and Sektor, asked them how she fooled by his lie, Kuai Liang trying to punishing her for this,Even she didn't know they were hiding the truth from her, which means he misunderstood her.

But Harumi told him that's Cyrax was deceived by them and tell him to give him marcy, it's seems Harumi was the one who could understand Cyrax and could believe in her, Which he accepted her request but won't forgive Cyrax who injured his members of his clan. (NOT K1LLED)

Despite how he doesn't trust her, despite their arguing with their problem, she save him by pushing him from falling, which that's make him concerned about her, he checked her if she's alright after the fall and he thanked her for saving his life which made Cyrax happy to ruture the favor. ----------------------🐝🦂----------------------

In the end of Khaos Reigns, Liu Kang told Kuai Liang that's Cyrax is waiting for him, Kuai Liang know Harumi's thoughts for Cyrax but he wasn't sure about it, but Liu Kang told him to turst her and her wisdom too, so. he decided to seeing her. ----------------------🐝🦂----------------------

When he met her there, she wanted to say something to prove herself, but he stopped her knowing exactly what she want to say, he pride her to fought well in the mission and against Havik, he also told her that his life saved by her, Cyrax though that all she did was not enough to him but he says to her that all she done was NOT ALL, he explain his mistake by judging her for believing in Bi-han lie's, he realized he also was taken in, as he said that he is alone who deserve his anger, he even give to her an invitation to joining his clan as compensation for what he did to her. Which this made Cyrax so happy and thanked him.

But at her ending, When she became a Shirai Ryu member, Most of the clan didn't accept her expect Kuai Liang, and when they training with her, she was suddenly fighting for her life, so he saved her from them, punishing them by expelled them, that's made her felt very guilty, Because her presence seemed to be causing problems in the clan, and she didn’t want to disrupt the harmony of the group, She then offered to resign from the clan and asked for the attackers to be brought back by sharing tea.

And about him? Yes. He made mistake for mistreated Cyrax, but he's isn't bad thing at all, he is human, A HUMAN BEING, just like us, we humans make mistakes. It is a natural part of being human and how people learn and grow. Mistakes can lead to valuable lessons, helping us to improve and make better decisions in the future.

A week after sending his complaint, Geto searched GojoSweetCupcake on YouTube. Only a few videos about cupcakes showed up.

No more results.

I did it, I really did it. Geto thought. They closed his channel because of Geto.

“Manager…”

“I know. I saw it.”

“No but…Manager Geto…that guy is really mad.”

What was so great about this guy anyway? He was good at playing, but a piece of shit on the inside. No. Geto had to stop thinking this way. He did what was right by reporting his channel, now he had to move on from this. 

But curiosity kicked in.

Ugh… this guy was obsessed. It was a livestream with more than 20,000 people, and this guy was just spouting nonsense. Geto thought that things would come to an end, but just seeing that masked guy talk shit about him was something that stressed him to a whole new level. And more than that, he realized why Haibara wanted him to apologize. His somehow idol, was bad mouthing his own boss. How humiliating.

Even if he was an internet user that no one knew anything about, two people knew of his existence in real life. His two most trusted subordinates and friends. How could he face them if he didn't resolve this situation quickly?

Strangely, this guy had a nice voice, if he wasn't screaming all the time, Geto probably would have seen him in his free time. Nevertheless, he still resented him.

“You know, dear Shadow, I don’t want your apology, meet me. We will handle this like gentlemen. Send me your location and I'll come get you. It doesn't matter if you live in another part of the world, I'll come get you.”

Geez, this guy was out of his mind. Geto even felt a little shiver run down his spine. He decided that the right thing to do was to stay away and if possible, change his username on all social media. Of course he could do that, but before he could make the change, all of his accounts were filled with hate messages.

He didn't care, but his cell phone vibrating every second, even in a meeting, was starting to cause him problems. He was going to delete all of it, until he saw a message from a verified account with the name Gojo. That guy.

Hey! I want to say absolutely no hate here, you can think whatever you want about characters, I just want to make some points for you to consider! If it makes you change your mind, cool! If it doesn’t, well that follow button doesn’t need my finger on it since we clearly have different views :)

I am not going to be commenting on Chim begins since I haven’t watched it in a while, but I just finished rewatching Hen Begins and was discussing Bobby Begins Again with someone, so here we go.

In Hen Begins, Tommy is never hostile towards her. He doesn’t defend her from the captain, but he’s also a young gay man who is probably terrified of that same hate being turned to him. When Hen is doing her speech on the fire truck most of the crew has tightened jaws and seems mad, but Tommy seems relaxed and thoughtful. And at the end of the episode he tells Hen: “We would’ve done a sweep of the area eventually, but eventually would’ve been too late. Good job.” with a smile and then proceeds to shake her hand and pat her on the shoulder. It is also heavily implied that he was one of the people who left a complaint about the captain and his treatment. Everything about this episode screams a man who was keeping his head low and trying to slip under the radar, not a man trying to be hateful.

In Bobby Begins Again, they throw him a nice going away party. I don’t know about you, but I don’t tend to buy assholes who are rude to me a cake.

Then later Chimney is able to call him up and ask a favor that Tommy does without complaint, which makes it seem like they’re on good terms.

And in the most recent episodes, he steals a helicopter and lies to higher-ups, something that could easily get him fired and cause him to lose everything. Once again, I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t risk my job and my life (they were on a dangerous mission after all) for people I’m not good friends with.

Lastly, Buck does not strike me as the type to date someone who doesn’t like his friends, his family

i do disagree, however. tommy was 100% hostile to hen in hen begins. ('new york bitchiness is a compliment?' for example, or him throwing gear at her feet so she'll tidy it up and barely sparing her a glance)

i also am simply not a fan of giving characters' past actions depth when it's very clear that back then, they weren't written with that depth in mind. i can promise you the writers did not write hen begins & chimney begins while thinking of tommy as a gay, closeted man. (yes, i'm aware there was that one jacob twilight joke but personally i think you might be giving the writers a little too much credit if you think that was planned forshadowing or something. it was just a silly scene)

furthermore, even if we do run with the whole 'tommy was afraid to speak up because he was afraid and closeted'...standing up against misogyny and racism has nothing to do with being closeted, since neither of those things are related to sexuality, so standing up against those things won't make anyone assume that you're gay. tommy being closeted isn't an excuse, in my opinion.

i'm also aware that the characters have forgiven tommy but i just...don't really care about that because in this show, everyone forgives everyone, constantly. buck forgave his parents and they have a good relationship now — that doesn't mean i have to forgive the buckley parents now too.

as for your last point, i'd argue taylor definitely wasn't the biggest fan of buck's friends and family and they weren't a huge fan of her either. but i also don't think that really matters here, since it's been established that tommy is good with hen and chim, so buck has no reason to assume there's bad blood. it once again boils down to the simple fact that i, as a viewer, do not have to forgive a character's actions simply because other characters did.

Trouble with Act III and Villain Motivation

feelingthedisaster asked: I have some issues with my current WIP. The basics are: a guy wants to be a "soldier" (not exactly, but I won't get into worldbuilding), but because he's an outcast he's blamed for the theft of an object that goes missing. He learns about a witch who can help him find the object and they go on a mission to find it, but he learns it was the witch who stole it because she was bored and accepted the job to hang out with people. Here are my concerns:

Issue #1 - I feel the witch's motivation is not strong enough. There is backstory explaining her loneliness and wanting to have friends, but stealing an object to go on a bogus mission and hang out with someone doesn't feel realistic.

You could definitely go a little bit further to bolster this motivation. Since you mention using Save the Cat!, and since the witch sounds like she might be a redeemable villain, have you considered. her "shard of glass" (psychological wound) that's driving her? What happened in her past that makes her feel like she isn't worthy of making friends in the usual way? Fleshing that out and building upon it creates a little more logic to why she would go so far out of her way just to get some companionship.

Issue #2 - My plot sucks. Act I - the solider gets kicked out, Act II - he and the witch go on the bogus mission and he finds out she's the true thief, Act III - I have no idea. It feels shitty, boring, and I wouldn't want to read this. Honestly, I just want to write my characters and made up plot so it would make sense, but I don't like the plot.

Well, looking at Save the Cat!, in Act III you need to solve the problems created in Act II. In other words, we need to look back at your story's midpoint... what was the false victory or false defeat? How did things get progressively worse or progressively better for the hero after that? In what way was the hero pushed to rock bottom? Based on what you've laid out for me, I feel like a good route to go (if you haven't already) is for there to be a false victory toward the end of Act II, perhaps where the witch--sensing that the hero is losing faith in her ability to help him find the object--tells him they're really close. They've almost got it. Then, as the "bad guys close in" moment, maybe (because they've grown close), she admits that she was the one who stole the object in the first place and promises to take him to it. But... ALL IS LOST! They get to where she'd hidden the object and it's gone! Now neither one of them have the object! At the end of Act II is the hero's "dark night of the soul" where he has to contemplate everything that's happened so far... getting kicked out, finding the witch and trusting her to lead him to the object, growing close to the witch, being betrayed by the witch (she's the true thief). And maybe he even really hurts her feelings by ditching her because he's so mad. This guy has hit rock bottom...

So, your "Break into III" is the moment where your character realizes what he must do to fix everything... First, realizing he can sympathize with the witch and forgive her, he must find her and accept her apology and apologize to her, too. Next, he figures out what happened to the object and how they can get it back. And finally, he realizes how he can get accepted back into whatever he was kicked out of without causing problems for the witch. So, Act III will be him realizing all of this, finding the witch, convincing her to listen to his apology and accepting her apology, telling her what he figured out about who stole the object from her--and how they can get it back, strategizing that plan, executing that plan, facing off against whoever took the object from the witch and getting it back once and for all, then returning the object to its rightful owners and proving that he didn't steal the object. (And, maybe they can blame whoever stole it from the witch to keep the witch from getting into trouble?) And then maybe the hero gets reinstated, or maybe he chooses to go off with the witch on more adventures. It's up to you. And it doesn't have to be any of this exactly, but hopefully it gives you some ideas for what else you can do.

I want to change the entire plot but I don't know how. On top of everything else, my chapters are short.

Well, hopefully now that I've shown you how much more your second and third acts can be, you won't need to change your plot. I think you already have everything here for a great story. You just needed to flesh things out a little bit more. Hopefully this helps you get there.

As far as your short chapters, I just answered another ask about that. Chapters are either a single scene or a group of 2-3 related scenes. So, when your chapters are too short, it's usually because your scenes aren't accomplishing everything they need to. This post goes into detail about that, so hopefully that will help!

Please forgive my broken english, it's my second language!

First of all i would tag their relationship with #Strangers to friends to lovers, and, #Tired souls trying to give each other comfort.

The evolution of their relationship could be divided in 5 phases.

1.Strangers (Formal meeting):

In book two, when the group and Rebecca were interviewing Jamil about his injury, Rebecca showed her caring and compassionate nature by asking to see his injury even if it wasn't something very serious.

Jamil took note of this characteristic of her just as she noticed the words "...As Kalim's request," which would spark Rebecca's curiosity as "why would you cook for someone at their request?"

After defeating Leona's overblot, she would wish him good luck along side with the other teams.

2.Pre-Book 4.

Rebecca and Jamil would continue to interact with each other, nothing too serious, just little chats and hellos here and there. Rebecca would try to establish a friendship with him because, why not? He seems like a very interesting person, but Jamil evaded this as a bug.

Asking about how his day has been? Trying to have any small conversation with him? What's his favorite food? All of these small interactions would be met with a quick goodbye and an apology.

This made her overthink she was being pushy and/or that, for whatever reason Jamil just wasn't very fond of her, so she would just stop trying to connect with him.

Jamil, in all his complex character, was peeved. Yes, he didn't like it that she stopped giving him attention but didn't do anything, because why should someone like him?

3. During book 4

Rebecca was so happy with helping Jamil in the kitchen, thinking maybe Jamil was more open with her, she would probably try to help with the situation at Scarabia by her own accord if Jamil didn't mind controlled her :/.

Just as the player, Rebecca understood better the situation Jamil and Kalim finds themselves into, to her horror.

Their relationship got closer, she was just trying to be his friend and well, even if Jamil wasn't planning to do so, he did open to her.

Jamil played with her good nature, but it didn't feel great, the first person who tried to just know him, understand him and just being there for him... but if he must do it to be free, he would do it with a heavy heart.

Now after all the fiasco with Jamil's plan, Rebecca was... distant, not cruel just... not as warm as usual.

4.After book 4

Jamil was in great distress. Rebecca was still being kind to him... Even after book 4?! She's planning his downfall! Revenge was at the turn of the row!

But that couldn't be more wrong [She has more grace than me honestly, cause if it was for me, bro would be dead], She understands his situation of just wanting freedom because just like him, she too must obey to survive. Responsibilities she didn't ask for were thrown at her by a very kind headmaster.

Jamil understood it, it wasn't as bad as his... but he understood were all this empathy came, so he asked for forgiveness and being honest with her and finally after many weeks, An actual Friendship! YEI.

5.Cupid at the door, with a sledgehammer

Good job, you just had fallen in love and it just so happens to be with the person who understands you on a deeper level than anyone and the person you are the most honest with... Deal with it!

Yeah, he was panicking...so much.

Jamil hadn't ever been had a crush on anyone! He never had time to connect with people!

From Rebecca's side, this is very normal... not her first rodeo, honestly, she already had 1 or 2 relationship in the past, nothing to serious, and to her surprise... Jamil was the one who confessed first! And yes, they do get in a serious relationship BUT they are taking it slowly! At Jamil's request.

They will take their time with each other and they will be patients with each other.

Some headcanons!

Jamil at first was a little embarrassed by the fact that Rebecca was more experience with relationships and all that! But she calmed him down, he is still dealing with those feelings, but he gets better with it every time.

Acts of services is their love language! They try to lower the load of the other even if a little! Mainly Jamil's, as he is still new to physical touched and words of affirmation (However he really likes words of affirmation! He will never say it out loud!)

Grimm now has 2 caretakers! Jamil understands how much the monster matter to Rebecca, so he sometimes looks after him! Rebecca always tells him it is not necessary because he already has to take care of Kalim but, that doesn't stop him.

Free food! as Jamil will bring leftovers! he will stay to see Rebecca eat it so that pesky cat-looking annoyance doesn't "steal" it from her.

Very few people know about the relationship, only Grimm, the ghost and...Rook. Jamil asked to keep it private and Rebecca was okay with it!

This instalment will focus on how all the characters handle jealousy, more precisely, jealousy which involves you, the reader. Enjoy!

GUY OF GISBORNE: Guy does not handle jealousy at all well when it comes to other men flirting with you. He makes his complete and utter distain known to the other man, and even becomes threatening. Most people are scared of Guy, so the men back off as soon as they see his icy glare from across a room. You know that Guy's jealousy comes from a place of insecurity, so you need to remind him regularly that you only have eyes for him.

RAY LEVINE: Ray Levine holds a lot of his emotions inward and will become distant with you if he feels there may be any kind of hint of another man sniffing around you. His answers become clipped and short, and it's up to you to question him thoroughly to see exactly why his mood has changed. However, when you reassure him that you're his, he apologises profusely.

FATHER LORENZO QUART: Father Quart is not a jealous man, but when it comes to you, jealousy is not something he is immune to. He holds it inward and tries his best to push the thoughts away as to not fall into bitterness. You notice his behaviour (of extra glances and sighs when the other man is in the room) and bring it up with him, and he admits that he did feel jealous and apologises, knowing he trusts you implicitly.

THORIN OAKENSHIELD: If Thorin sees another man making advances towards you, you immediately see a change in the Dwarf's demeanour. He becomes quite passive aggressive, giving short answers and appearing a little hostile. But when you get to the bottom of his negative feelings and reassure him with plenty of touch and love-filled words, he apologises to you. He is scared to lose you.

FRANCIS DOLARHYDE: Francis will watch you and the other man, not acting physically on his jealousy. However, he begins mentally plotting ways to harm the man, enjoying the thought of causing pain to him. Francis even admits to you that he had bad thoughts and considered violence, but then begs you to forgive him.

JOHN THORNTON: John Thornton becomes quiet and distant, backing off as soon as he feels in any way threatened by another man sniffing around you. The normally brooding man becomes even more cold toward you, hinting at his jealousy through hints in his words, mentioning the man in conversation. Eventually you sit him down and talk it through with him that nothing will ever happen between you and the other man.

RAYMOND DE MERVILLE: Raymond will not entertain the idea of another man serenading you. In fact, he is quite happy to threaten men and even become violent. Any man who only looks at you for a few seconds too long and they're immediately found on the sharp end of Raymond's sword.

JOHN PORTER: John tries to down play his jealousy and won't talk about it, until you bring it up to him. If he notices you interacting with another man, he will distance himself a little, but you notice him still sneaking glances to see what's going on. Eventually you have to confront John and tell him that he's stupid to think you'd even consider any other man but him as you've fancied him for as long as you've known him.

LUCAS NORTH: Lucas doesn't like to show vulnerability at first, so his jealous behaviour will depend on how long you've been with him and the stage you're at in your relationship. Any initial stage, weeks to a couple of months, and Lucas will try his hardest to not think too much about it. However, the longer you are with him, then the more his jealousy will show. It becomes clipped words, the cold shoulder and icy stares at you and the other man from across a busy room.

But how did the powerful ruler of the Ghost Valley, such a merciless and ruthless man, suddenly become so sentimental? He feels guilty because he is cheating on child. WOH, episode 27. ZZS sits in one of the rooms late in the evening and grinds herbs for medicine, doing it with one hand due to the injury of the other hand. At one point, WKX approaches him and asks ZZS why he's still awake. ZZS, continuing to grind herbs, explains that he has been having trouble falling asleep lately and adds that Drunk Like A Dream is dried and ground into a powder to be used as medicine. He declares that the one he found in the Manor was so old that it had lost its properties. WKX smiles and says he will help ZZS. WKX sits next to ZZS and throws herbs into the mortar, while ZZS looks away. Then, still smiling, he takes the herbs and sprinkles them on ZZS's hair, which causes even louder laughter. ZZS also smiles softly and asks WKX if he's crazy. WKX tells ZZS to grind the medicine. ZZS says medicine won't cure WKX's madness. WKX gently removes pieces of herb from ZZS's hair, saying he will clean them up. Patient ZZS claims that WKX behaves like a child. He then states that WKX shouldn't think that ZZS doesn't know what WKX is thinking. He threatens that if WKX makes a decision again without his knowledge, he will hit him. Finishing this statement, ZZS pinches WKX on the shoulder. WKX grabs his arm and stands up, saying he wouldn't dare do that. He had long known that sooner or later there would be a battle between good and evil, so he ordered Ah Xiang and the others to leave the valley. Apart from the fact that Jianghu's heroes will destroy Ghost Valley, it has nothing to do with WKX. The sooner all evil ghosts die, the better for people. Saying this, WKX sits down on the ground in front of the table where ZZS is sitting. ZZS asks what WKX is worried about, so he is worried. WKX asks how long he has to hide the truth from ZCL. ZZS replies that he already lied to him and ZZS lied to him too, so what can they do now. Nothing but continue to deceive him. ZZS adds that when he recovers, they will find the person responsible for the massacre of the ZCL sect and then they will tell the boy the truth. Either way, ZZS and WKX are in the same boat and neither of them will get rid of the other. Finally, ZZS summarizes how it happened that the powerful, ruthless ruler of the Ghost Valley fell into sentimentality and guilt for betraying child. ZZS adds that WKX has been cheating on him for a long time and while saying this, he throws a piece of weed towards WKX and asks how WKX will explain himself. WKX states that ZZS's grinding is going well and the smell of WKX is making him sleepy and states that he is going to sleep and ZZS should lie down too. ZZS continues to throw herbs at the departing WKX, calling for him to sniff some more. WKX tells him not to stay long. ZZS smiles broadly. After the exciting scene in the restaurant, it was time for a calm scene. ZZS still needs medication to sleep, and WKX is still tormented by remorse. Both men cannot sleep, but for different reasons. WKX acts like a child to lighten the mood. ZZS is able to forgive him because he knows what WKX is going through and how bad he feels that he lied to the boy and continues to lie to him. Besides, ZZS is in the same situation, so he is also motivated to heal his wounds and side with WKX when he tells ZCL the truth. A wonderful scene where two kindred soulmates can talk in peace, exchange doubts and find a solution. ZZH and GJ do great together in such intimate scenes.

also.. tbh i think i'm gonna go back to actually drawing their birthday ssrs. because finding a picrew that fits all of my characters is way too hard, some most of them don't have things like different skin colors, freckles, moles, etc or simply don't have their energy (for example, maybe i want my oc to look more mature, but that picrew has a more cutesy art style). so yeah, more lina art!!

roland: my parents didn't really try to stop me, they actually kind of.. encouraged it.

roland: oh, i don't mean it in a "you go son, go and prank that poor old woman!" way, i mean it.. it's like they just pretended not to see it. they spoiled me a lot too, so i never got punished for my actions.

roland: maybe if they were more strict with me, i would become a better person..

roland: i prefer to celebrate other people's birthdays than mine, though. but it wasn't always like that, i was a very selfish kid in the past, haha.

roland: now i just.. don't really like being the center of attention, i guess.

seth: aww, are you shy?

roland: maybe. but it's more like.. i feel like i just don't deserve it.

seth: huh? what do you mean by that?

roland: next question, please.

seth: oh, um.. okay.

seth: so, did anyone else wish you a happy birthday today?

seth: wait, is that a bad question too? i forgot about your reputation for a second-

roland: haha, don't worry, you're fine.

roland: as i mentioned before, neige-kun helped me out with my hairstyle and he also wished me a happy birthday and got me a gift too.

seth: oh, oh, what is it?

roland: he got me this really cute sweater, he knitted it himself.

roland: and he actually did a very good job with it.

seth: that's so cool! ugh, i'm jealous now. i wish i got a cute gift like that from neige-chan too..

roland: hey, it's okay. i'm sure he will get you something nice for your birthday too.

seth: but i don't wanna wait! why can't he get me a gift just for.. you know..

seth: i think i deserve a gift for being so cute!

roland: as for other students.. most of them didn't even look at me today.

roland: he texted me and said that he wants to meet up with me later, so i'm very excited to see him.

A Chucky Fanfiction

I wanna be a good parent

This is an old old old fanfiction i wrote about 4 years ago, and i decided to "dig it up". As you can see, it's about the Rays' domestic life. If you like your Chucky rotten to the core and without any silver lining, just move on and don't whine about it.

Also, i think that you should know that it has very little to do with the events of the movies. Seriously, i'm through with canon. You're also going to meet my OC, Chuckster's younger brother. His name is Abel and he just can't forgive him for choosing the path to crime and murder. They eventually reconcile after Chucky transfers Abel's soul into a peppet in his likeness. In doing so, he saves him from certain death, and gratitude conquers resentment. It can't be said that he's now chill with his brother's craft but he won't back off if he (and Tiff, for whom he has feelings) should find himself in trouble and will often serve as a sidekick, if needed.

One evening, Chucky and his younger brother, Abel, were smoking a cigar on the terrace, chatting about this and that.

"Ya know bro, i'm quite surprised. You're actually a pretty decent parent! Who'd have thought?" said Abel.

"I do my best" replied Chucky, rather annoyed.

"Why does everyone assume i'm the worst dad on Earth? It's because of my job, isn't it?"

"Uuuh, i must have hit a nerve" chuckled Abel with the usual naughtiness in his icy blue eyes. He was one of the few people who had the luxury of making fun of him without consequences.

"Seriously, my son and i used to have some issues, but we're working them out. Really"

"I see.

But.. i remember seeing him cry because the kids in the neighborhood were mean to him" said Abel, after letting out a cloud of smoke which caused Chucky to cough.

"What!? Are you serious!?" he asked as soon as he stopped coughing.

"Of course, why should i lie to you about such a thing?" replied Abel, with a shrug of his tiny shoulders.

"Fetch him" commanded

Chucky.

"What are you going to do?"

"Do as i say. NOW!!!"

"Hey, no need to yell!"

Abel obeyed him and, when he came back with the boy, a meeting was held at once.

Tiffany was there, too.

"Glen, i heard that the little bitch*s in the neighborhood have been hassling you, haven't they?" asked Chucky.

"Tell your ol' man all about it"

"How do you know!?" asked Glen. Surprise was clear in his tone of voice and espression.

"I'm your dad, ain't i?" He said, chuckling and bringing out a benevolent smile he rarely ever wore. He looked like a different person.

"Well.. yes they are. They torture me nearly every day. And all this just because of the way i look" he said, putting one hand to his mouth in an attempt to stifle a sob. "I'm so tired. I can't take this anymore" burst out the poor boy.

"Oh, please, don't. You'll have me crying, too.."

said Abel, sniffling and trying his best not to lose it.

"Oh, my poor, poor baby..."

whimpered Tiffany.

"I'll take care of it! Now, stop with the snivellin' and take it like a man! You'll just soak clothes, if you go on so. And that goes for you two, too!" said Chucky, cynically.

"Nobody will ever again kick you around, guaranteed!"

Leaving the others to console Glen, he marched off to bed without a word to anyone.

"What's on his mind?" wondered Abel, rather puzzled. That was a scene he thought he'd never see.

"I don't know, but i got a very bad feeling.."

said Glen, much worried.

Glen's fear was very well-founded, for next day something happened that produced a tempest.

Abel, Glen and Tiffany were sitting together. The sound of voices in the room rose and fell for ten minutes, until Chucky came in, demanding:

"Hey, what's all this commotion about?"

Everybody flashed dirty looks at him.

"Chucky, what did you do to Glen's bully?" asked Tiffany, gravely.

"Nothing" he replied, in a flat tone of voice.

"Stop playing ignorant: you almost sent him into a coma!" said Abel in an accusatory tone of voice.

"Oooh, that's true. Well, no need to thank me, son!" He grinned, turning to his boy.

"I have no reason to do that. Today, i was treated worse than usual for what you did!" said Glen, who was quite in sad state.

"But.. how!? That's absurd!" said Chucky, looking down with an astonished face.

"All you did was making things worse. You know what? I take it all back: you're a FAILURE as a parent!" said Abel.

Chucky's usually pale face flushed hearing that.

"Oh, is that so!? You think you could do better!?" snapped the redhead, feeling outraged as he never felt before and grabbing Abel by the collar.

Ugh, get your filthy hands off me, you BEAST!" yelled Abel, while his eyes kindled with rage.

They were just about to throw hands, when Tiffany's raspy voice schreeched from nearby.

"Stop it at once!!! Darling, Abel's right, i'm afraid. You need to work on yourself"

"Oh, sure, as if YOU were perfect. Everybody's a critic. You know what? F*ck off, everyone!" He shouted angrily. Then he bolted, in case he should forget himself.

"He hasn't changed. He never will..."

muttered Abel, as he settled his tie.

"Let's just leave him alone for a while" said Tiffany, knowing that was the wisest course.

The prideful and

short - tempered Chucky shut the door behind him and sat on the couch. "Christ, they all assaulted me! But they don't know any better!" he muttered, scornfully tossing down a pillow.

He was still shut up in the room when, about an hour later, the door flew open, and his wife, who knew how to manage him, bounced in.

She found him tramping about the room, while mutterig to himself.

"Are you here to preach or what!?" He said gruffly as he returned to his seat on the couch while crossing his arms.

"Now sweetface, be sensible. Just let it pass" said Tiffany, kissing the tip of his nose while holding his chin "Now go and make up"

"Hanged if i do! There is no way i'm humbling

myself! I never do it, let alone when i'm not in the wrong! It's no use, Tiff. Y'all gotta learn that i know what i'm doing, and don't need anyone to tell me how i should act!"

"Jeez, what a pepper pot you are!" said the blonde, letting out a heavy sigh.

A long moment of silence followed her words.

"Listen, Chucky.." she continued, in her most persuasive tone, "I am well aware of how hard it is, i deal with this everyday. Ya know, we may not be all the things a son could ever wish for, but.. Glen loves us, i'm sure. Now, come with me. I'll make you the meatballs that you like so much. Men always grumble when they're hungry"

"All right, babe" he said, for the proposal suited him, and that's when he finally left the room, but he looked so grim that both Glen and Abel felt a slight chill at the sight of his face.

A little later, Abel went to speak with Tiffany.

"You're amazing, Tiffy! Did you get blown up?" He said, laughing.

"Naah, it was pretty easy.. on the whole" she replied, with a smile.

''I don't see how you dared to do it. Who would care to approach him, when he's in that mood?"

"I'm not afraid of him"

"Oh boy, what a day this has been, i'm SO glad it's over"

said Abel, while drawing his hand across his forehead, as if relieved. Then he assumed a wistful espression.

"Why art thou so pensive, sweetface?"

she asked

"Look, my dear: i love him, i really do. After all, he's my brother. But he's terribly unstable and i don't know what's to become of us, if it goes on so. I'm afraid he shall do something insanely stupid, someday, and then we'll all be doomed" He sighed, assuming a tragedy air.

"Don't talk that way, Abel, my boy. No need to be melodramatic. Also, i understand him, in a way. I'm not so balanced myself, ya know.."

she admitted, and walked away.

Abel blew her a kiss, but not until she was gone.

Though several hours had passed since the quarrel, nothing went well that evening: Chucky still looked like a thunder cloud, Glen was lost in thought, Tiffany looked grieved and distressed seeing that it hadn't gotten any better and Abel kept making remarks about this and that.

The tension was finally cut around midnight.

Seeing that his ol' man's grave face had relaxed a bit, Glen went down upon him and... hugged him tight. And before Chucky could recover from his surprise, he whispered:

"I love you, dad"

Chucky cracked a smile hearing that, in spite of his efforts to keep sober, and gave Glen an affectionate pat on the back.

Abel and Tiffany saw it all, careful not to be noticed and winked at each other: the unfortunate day had ended.

Sorry for no update yesterday, I was super busy. SHould be back on track now, though!

…I guess I'll ask him about it. She's not one to reveal herself to the ones living at the temple, but I might be able to get some clues.

"Issei. Can you tell me about this unfamiliar woman? Is she from a foreign country, or is her face covered with something like a turban?"

"What is that? We would kick out such a strange person. …I don't know why you're asking, but she is a legitimate guest. …My brother is happy that she might be an evil woman, but I strangely like her. I have only talked to her once, but she is a good person even if she may look evil."

"Oh, wow. So asking the question was worth it, seeing how you're praising a woman. Did you fall in love with her?"

"D-D-D-D-Don't say such a stupid thing, you fool! I admire a part of her that she doesn't notice herself. First of all, I cannot fall in love with the lover of the one I respect as my older brother, Souichirou――――"

Issei suddenly stops and lowers his head. "Ah――――, ――――" I don't know if he felt dizzy or what, but Issei falls on the table and does not move.

"…? What's wrong, Issei? Is it anemia or something?" "――――No, it's not that I feel bad."

He raises himself real fast. I laugh thinking that he's acting like a coiled doll.

"――――――, Issei?" I look at Issei without looking at my slashed stomach.

"YOU fell for my trap. The order I implanted into THIS HUMAN functions only when HE meets SOMEONE who INQUIRES about ME."

I hear someone else's voice from Issei's mouth. When I realize that voice is of the Servant I met at the Ryudou Temple… "I DO NOT need this DOLL ANYMORE." …The knife in Issei's hand is stabbed into Issei's neck.

"――――――――" …My mind fades from too much blood loss. The wound. The wound reaching my organs is not causing my consciousness to fade.

My brain that wants to deny the scene in front of me freezes my consciousness. Issei falls down before me, not knowing what went on.

…I collapse onto the floor from my knees. I do not hold my wound, and I blankly stare at my friend who is now a corpse――――

Taiga Dojo!!

Yay, Gai**x bomb! Kyaa, Ragnarok! Well, it only takes a second to be careful, but the injury could last a lifetime. How was this dead end that teaches you it's not good to ask just anyone? Osu! It was such an irrational and sudden death! This is exactly what I expect from "Fate", and it is surely splendid! Yes. But we cannot forget about the sacrifices! Let us give Ryudou-kun a three-second silent prayer! Osu! The three second part is great, master! So, Ilya-chan. What is going on with the people at the Ryudou Temple? Hmm. They have this artificial Command Spell put in them. They become this thing that executes this one command when they find someone that breaks one of the "three rules" Caster established. She's good at making things. If she ever captures Shirou, I bet she'll turn him into a formal tool just to support her magic. Evil! I acknowledge Caster as evil! As a teacher, I cannot forgive anyone that would use others as they wish! …I don't know about calling her evil just because of that. It's true that Caster is weak, sly, and cowardly, but she's not truly bad on the inside. Hm? Why are you sticking up for such a witch…? Do you have something in mind? Huh…? N-No. I just want to say it's not bad to bind someone with magic. Oh, I remember. You've done worse to Shirou! Damn, you found out! Ouu… I can't beat that shinai for some reason. It's only natural. No magic is allowed in this dojo. You have to bring in a wild lion or a modern weapon to beat me. Have you repented of your actions? …Yes. I won't do anything bad again. Yes, that's a good girl! The boy's wish is granted as well! Rejoice, Shirou, Ilya is nicer in this route! Fine, fine. So I just have to stay quiet in this route, right? …Well, it's not smart always to be going on a rampage. I can help Shirou in this route and take one of the other heroines. What――you have put that much thought into this? Loli-buruma isn't good enough, so you're taking on such a great role in the main storyline…!? Ilya… she's a scary child…!

WOO! BAD END AGAIN! Once again, no vote today, since tomorrow we're just going to pick the other option we had.

Within this AU, I think it's unlikely that Sasuke will have a redemption arc bc Izuna would never support it. For Izuna, Sasuke doesn't have to redeem himself for anything. Konoha has always been a mistake. It's more likely that Izuna will fill Sasuke's head with all the reasons why he should never return to Konoha (that is, if the village is still standing). I doubt Naruto will be able to convince Sasuke, Izuna has a silver tongue and very valid arguments. I can imagine him saying: "Why do you have to redeem yourself? It was Konoha who oppressed us, killed our family and stole our Sharingan! They are the ones who should redeem themselves; ask for our forgiveness and make amends! See, they are not doing any of that! They are forcing you to bow down to them!" Then Team Taka leaves under the pretext of redeeming themselves but in reality they are escaping through the front door. 🤫shhh no one knows that Izuna took Madara's Rinnegan and has plans to use it.

Want to know more about this? I'll tell you! Technically the Rinnegan belongs to Izuna (he gave his eyes to Madara before he died) so he's just taking back what's his. Izuna is totally the type of person with a grudge. He gave his eyes to Madara with the promise of protecting the Clan and annihilating the Senjus. Guess what Madara actually did? (He had his reasons, okay? There were Uchihas defecting; his people were losing faith in him and he had to think about the civilians, the elderly, the orphans and the widows. Madara couldn't continue the war like this) - but Izuna isn't taking this into consideration. He's pissed about everything. So he takes his brother's Rinnegan and says he'll do what needs to be done.

After convincing Sasuke that Konoha will always be shit, Team Taka leaves and bam! Dimensional Travel! Oh the Rinnegan is truly so OP. Izuna loves it. He's so, so proud to be an Uchiha. (Uchihas are totally demigods, that's Canon!)

Then they show up somewhere back in the Warring States period. Now here's a plot point. Izuna could arrive after his counterpart dies and take his place (and use his new powers to annihilate the Senju; see aniki this is how you do it) or he could go further and kill Butsuma before he has any children (then no Hashirama or Tobirama will be born, how wonderful), or he could send Hashirama to the desert dimension and let the Senju jubokku dry up, or to the fire or ice dimension. All of these options sound great for Izuna. While Tobirama... oh well. it's got to be something really creative to make him suffer. Izuna is still thinking about how to get revenge on him. Anyway, I can think of many more, but that's it for now. Izuna is having his brain working overtime for several other possibilities – (don't forget, he's still an Edo Tensei. He'll live forever and will have plenty of time to raise the Uchiha and annihilate his enemies)

Somewhere in the background Izuna is distracting his brother so he won't miss (or pity) the Senju. Maybe Izuna supports the idea of building a village (without Senjus). Madara will surely be too busy to watch Izuna's schemes too closely. (The silly older brother does whatever his precious little brother wants.) Sasuke is surrounded by relatives who like him. It's not the same as having his first family back, but at least it helps heal his wounded heart. The grandmothers of the clan dote on him, the girls still smile and blush around him (but at least he's not being harassed so it's not so bad), he trains with other Uchihas his age, hears a lot of stories about the clan and immerses himself in the culture he was deprived of knowing and living. The rest of Team Taka is there, causing chaos and complaining about prehistoric life without technology, but they are happy to be together.

He's SO mad about it and has literally no information ab what's going on at all bc hes locked in a fucking tube !!

They unearthed him w the rest of the founders on a whim but bc no one really requested him specifically, the body just kinda sat there and eventually got mixed in w the rest of the Uchiha corpses, till Orochimaru requests an Uchiha corpse and they shrug and send him over

He still has Madara's eyes too (left alone either by oversight / or bc they decided not to pull them before he got mixed in w the other bodies, who had by then already gotten scooped of their eyes so they assumed he'd already been harvested)

Ok but like. No one even tells him what happened/where he is/that madara made the village. Why would anyone?? The only one Izuna sees regularly is Orochimaru, and he doesn't know those facts would matter??

Izuna doesn't even know what Konoha IS, he isn't gonna recognize the name

From Izuna's perspective, he died in his bed and then BOOM. Tank time.

Orochimaru might tell him it's been some years since his death (thinking he died in the massacre) and even if Izuna doesn't believe him bc like, enemy, enemy territory, he sure as fuck probably won't be thinking "Ah yes it's been decades since my death and my brother went against my dying wishes to make that village"

Tho he might get nervous and start picking up those cues when he sees the tech

Ok actually but like. Suigetsu's shape-shifting but bc Izuna has a fire chalra nature, make it liquid fire shape-shifting. Fuckin, fire mermaid Izuna. He has an awful time retaining his form and actually for the first chunk of time, him being in that tube is genuinley just for the best. He keeps turning into liquid fire with no real solid body and can't put himself back together for hours.

Izuna hears his brother is still alive and running Akatsuki and is so down to clown till he realizes THATS NOT HIS FUCKING BROTHER HOW DARE YOU USE HIS NAME

Anyways oh my god Izuna on team Taka,,

He and Sasuke would be SUCH a dynamic actually, they look alike so much?? Sasuke doesn't recognize him but he's clearly a close relation, so there's some mystery there. Sasuke is like super shaken by finding a member of his clan and Izuna, by that point aware that apparently the rest of his clan is dead, is sticking to him like GLUE. Sasuke is bitchy little brother coded and Izuna understands this is probably karma bc he is also bitchy little brother coded

They probably clash a lot, especially bc both are expecting to be in charge here, but ultimately I think they'd get along better than Sasuke does most people, and there's also that bonus vulnerability of like. Izuna is an older Uchiha boy who's trying to brother him (with a noticeably different brother-ing style to Itachi too) and Sasuke has been alone for so, so long.

Sasuke accidentally calls him nii-san then promptly has several break downs about it

Suigetsu and Izuna either get along ALARMINGLY well or they hate eachother. I think I wanna go with the first bc it sounds more fun. They couldn't talk to eachother in the tanks but they could still see eachother, so maybe they kind of developed some sort of code to communicate?

They are "cause problems on purpose" friends. They're also "wdym I can't kill him???" *looks of genuine confusion* buddies. They're giving Sasuke the biggest headache actually, someone stop them. If you leave them to "take care" of a problem, there will be carnage.

Also, like, Izuna literally has Suigetsu's DNA in him. That's a thing.

Mmm maybe some complex thoughts ab how Izuna has effectively become a bloodline thief against his will (the ULTIMATE taboo for shinobi from his era) and he's like, actually fucked up about it.

Running joke where they refer to each other as cousins, could be funny. They argue over who's the bastard child (it's Izuna obviously but he won't just take that title lying down)

Izuna is like, in his 20s, and Karin is around 16 or 17 at this time I think?? She definatley has a bit of a crush on him (which helps take the edge off Sasuke) but like, he's not acknowledging that beyond patting her on the head. She'll get over it eventually. (Sasuke hides behind Izuna when Karin is trying to flirt w him and Izuna absoloutley laughs at them both)

Izuna is actually really impressed w Karin's sensing abilities specifically. I think he'd be a bit on edge around her at first, bc Uzumaki -> Senju ally. But he'd quickly assume she's a deserter (he has no idea the Uzumaki are pretty much wiped out rip) and becomes cautiously chill after a minute or two (also when he first escapes, he REALLY doesn't have the luxury to pick and choose his allies. He's instantly attached to Sasuke and cautiously fond of Suigetsu, and Karin seems to have Sasuke's trust at least, so he'll keep an eye on it but otherwise trust Sasuke's judgment)

Izuna and Karin besties arc where they paint eachothers nails is a must. I love the take that Izuna is really into fashion n stuff and he and Karin should like, trade hair tips or smthn. Karin knows modern soap brands where as Izuna bought his soaps from clan vendors who no longer fucking exist, so like, it's definatley helpful.

Karin is the only one of them to have any real hint of where tf Izuna came from (tho even she doesn't have the full details) it'd be cool if she was the one to figure out more details ab his general mystery— maybe something about her chakra sensing gives her a hint as to how old he really is?? Or she finds the paper trail that hints towards the bodies being mixed up???? Idk but she deserves to have an "aha!" moment

Also Izuna's medical knowledge/standards are NOT up to modern and Karin is so mad about it, she's giving him hella lessons on first aid n shit and he's very, very interested in all this free medical knowledge

I know the least about Jugo so bear with me on this one pls— I think Izuna would find Jugo to be pretty fascinating as a person actually. He enjoys tentatively poking him with sticks, and comes to genuinley like him as a person (when he's calm) pretty quickly

Also cats love Izuna so he gets bonus points from Jugo bc of that, they can bond while petting Izuna's contracted cats or smthn idk

Ok let's backtrack a bit, back to Orochimaru ->

Fun scene towards the very start of the fic, where Izuna still has no fucking clue what's going on, but recognizes Orochimaru as a member of the Orochi clan. He says as much, and Orochimaru has to pause.

No one's mentioned his clan to him in years. They haven't been relevant in Konoha since Orochimaru was born— even before that, they were barley relevant. Izuna should not know who they are.

(The only reason he does know is bc they had a neutral to positive relationship w the Uchiha back in the warring era, and Izuna had visited them once before)

Immediatley, Orochimaru is squinting at this guy. He's giving Danzo a ring asking who exactly he got sent over, but Danzo doesn't actually have anything to offer him??? The paperwork is a mess and there were a LOT of Uchiha. He's not registered as a shinobi tho.

Hmmmm.... ok.

Orochimaru is suddenly aware there's some kind of mystery here now, which is dangerous for Izuna. Izuna is, again, in enemy territory, and he's able to pick up on the fact that Orochimaru doesn't actually know who he is. This ofc means that HE sure as hell won't be telling him.

Maybe he bares his teeth and sarcastically says he's the second coming of Uchiha Madara (not even that big of a lie when u think ab it)

Izuna is listed in the data books as like, being equally as talented as Madara and I think we should talk ab that more actually

Then he just fucking bodies them all bc hes a nightmare actually AND on whatever special test trial edo tensei steroids they gave him

Izuna is fueled on rage and spite and he's full up on both

Imagine he gets the full story of everything that happened while he was dead too, like.

Ok so Madara goes against his EXPRESS dying wishes and makes his village. (what the fuck!!) Then backs out (yay!!) but in an awful way that effectively fucks over the entire clan for years to come (nii-san what the FUCK)

Then gets literally backstabbed by Hashirama (HE FUCKING TOLD YOU!!! WHAT DID HE FUCKING SAY!!!!!)

Then the Uchiha seem to thrive and like. Ok. He's still mad about it, but at least something... kind of nice came out of it.

THEN BOTH THE VILLAGE AND MADARA'S(?????) SCHEMES KILL THEIR ENTIRE CLAN

Izuna is SO mad at literally everyone, holy shit. The only one safe from his rage is Hikaku, god rest his poor, poor soul

Actually, I think it'd be funny if Izuna was like, indescribably extra awful mad at everyone— but then is like. Normal mad amounts at Tobirama, who was a bitch but at least didn't seem to carry on a personal fucking vendetta against the Uchiha like EVERYONE ELSE INCLUDING FUCKING MADARA FOR SOME GODDAMN REASON

Izuna is going like, "FUCK you, FUCK you, OH, EXTRA FUCK YOU—" then squints at Tobirama and goes "...fuck you." Then goes back to screaming

To be clear, Tobirama absolutely contributed to the end of the Uchiha, but like. A) it'd be funny, and B) at least his seemed slightly less on purpose than literally everyone else

There's also I think a difference of like. Izuna never expected Tobirama to suddenly turn around and be pro Uchiha

Where as everyone else (again, including his brother!!) Was like. A genuine betrayal

Tobirama fucking over the clan was never a surprise

He never pretended to be on their side (like Hashirama lowkey did)

Tobirama vs Izuna but it's them getting to relive their rivalry where as Izuna vs literally anyone else is emotionally charged as hell and filled with demented screaming

It seems to be the ONE major hang up that people have about him, ans the scene where he tries to hit the kids with his car...Like, I get he was an asshole, so was Steve though, but everyone always comes back to 'Steve redeemed himself with Robin' yet they never want to recognise the shitty wrottong with Billy 😩

You're asking good questions, and I'm glad you asked!

First of all, let's look at what Billy saw; his sister was upset, and Lucas was with her. Billy obviously couldn't take Max home in tears. Plus the remark, as you said... "there's certain people you need to stay away from" or something like that, it's incredibly vague- especially if there were racist undertones.

How can you be casual in adding racism in your storyline? So vague about it, like it's an extra pizza topping?

I'm assuming the other remarks you're referring to are "you are so dead sinclair" "so dead" "he has a name now?" (I genuinely think he was trying to make conversation with Max, as well as getting a clue as to where she might run off to, which makes his job easier). "Well well well, Lucas Sinclair. What a surprise."

Okay but let's look into this. First of all, while I agree that it does look bad, especially when Billy pushed Lucas into a bookshelf, try to look at it through Billy's eyes:

Lucas is the boy he keeps seeing around his sister (his responsibility).

Billy saw Lucas around Max and he also saw that she was upset. In his own way, he acknowledged that he did indeed care for her.

They're in an entirely new setting, and Billy has babysitting duties (because Neil and Susan often go out late and don't return to "relieve" Billy of those "duties). If anything happens to Max, he gets punished.

Max is in a stranger's house at night, with an eighteen year old boy who has a reputation as a womanizer, and a bunch of young boys- one of which he's seen make her upset.

Steve lied to Billy on top of that, so yeah, my alarm bells would be going off too! Especially knowing my father would kick my ass after finding out my little sister was there, and I was supposed to be watching her.

When Billy enters the Byers house, he doesn't attack Lucas. He just addresses him, and then goes straight to Max. He says "I thought I told you to stay away from him". And Max's response is to tell him to go away. He cannot go away, because Neil would never forgive him for leaving her there. Max doesn't explain anything to him. Billy is still in the dark.

It's only when Max disobeys him, that Billy pulls Neil Hargrove's words out of his wazoo. It could be because the only parenting Billy is used to is instilling fear into a child. Maybe it's the only way Max listens, and it was probably the only thing that made Billy listen when he was her age. And by the way, the parents Max has are really shitty for putting their responsibilities on a seventeen year old! But anyway.

"I break things" and then he pushes Lucas into a bookshelf. Now what led to that, as I mentioned above, is important for context. If he was racist, the only reason he needs to dislike Lucas is obvious. But why didn't he just go straight for him when he came into the house?

It's not a stretch to say Neil was racist, and he probably fed bullshit ideals to his son. But if that were the case, then Billy obviously doesn't believe in those ideals. Plus it's interesting to me how for every "racism-coded" scene with Billy, there is a context that people refuse to acknowledge.

"Since Maxine won't listen to me, maybe you will. Stay away from her. Stay away from her! You hear me?" Then Lucas kicks him in the crotch. Billy stumbles back, and that's when he says, "you are so dead sinclair! You're dead." But he doesn't make any movement towards Lucas. Empty threats. He makes no attempt to go near Lucas.

Steve punches Billy, and Billy goes into fight or flight mode. Also the kids were chanting to "kill him", so that just made shit worse. Again, if it were me, I would've probably reacted the same way. Hell, someone punching me, and I hear people telling that dude to kill me? I'd go into survival mode, too. Plus Billy was crying when he was punching Steve.

You mentioned the car scene. Billy is a seventeen year old boy. Teenagers in general (speaking from experience) are assholes, like I've said before. He wasn't going to actually hit the kids. If he did, he would be arrested, and guess who has a knuckle sandwich waiting for him at home? Plus it would mess up his car.

Why the kids kept pedaling instead of full on abandoning their bikes, we'll never know.

The hypocrisy in this fandom is truly sad. Also, to my knowledge, Steve never once apologized to Jonathan for what he said about his family, or for breaking his camera.

No character on that show is perfect. That's one of the few things that's realistic! Every character has done some questionable shit at some point, or whatever, because they're human. But Billy is where they draw the line.

They're like "oh it wasn't a redemption arc". I'm like... my brothers in christ, he gave up his life for some kids that didn't even try to save him! Also, he needed time to develop. And to develop, he needs to be alive. How the fuck can he develop, or "pay for his crimes" if he's dead???

And okay, fine, if Lucas was impacted by Billy, or by Jason... why don't we see the impact?

Racism isn't something you're vague about when you add it to a storyline. Why be vague about racism? Why have your characters use a bunch of slurs? Especially if you never intended to dig deeper into real social issues.

Racism, abuse... these are real issues. The way they're never acknowledged? Why? They aren't fucking spices or decorative pieces to make your storyline more "interesting". If you mention anything vaguely racist, why don't you elaborate? Because the Duffers never planned to.
