i keep seeing lots of wonderful posts about reblogging things to show others you appreciate them. and you should (we all should) not just to spread love but also so it reaches far and wide.

but can i ask, that you share the things YOU like that YOU have created too? because i, for one, love seeing you reblog your own work on the dash.

especially when you share additional info like why you colour-graded that gifset, chose that sentence or that palette for your art. and then i get to admire it even MORE and also get to see you being full of excitement.

and that makes my fandom experience. i LOVE seeing us be excited about our thoughts, visions and ideas. i love the passion. it's why i don't just write and keep things to myself. i share because i want to connect, i want fandom, i want happiness and joy that can come from people coming together.

yes, absolutely reblog the things you love from other people, but also reblog the things that YOU'VE MADE too.

even if it's a comment reblog or just because there's something you want to share more about it; even if you share a thing from a year ago, just because you fancied reblogging it?

DO IT, please. time zones and life sometimes mean we all miss things, so toot your horn, and scream from your tumblr rooftop. please.
